Pursat Riverside Hotel & Spa

Has Potential, But Needs Improvement We stayed at Pursat River Hotel for $50 a night and, while there were some good points, the experience didn’t quite meet our expectations. The room was a bit small, and the bathroom door didn’t close properly, which was a minor inconvenience. Unfortunately, there was no toilet paper provided, and the water pressure on the bum gun was way too high, which made it uncomfortable to use. The breakfast area was quite crowded when we were there, and we couldn’t find a place to sit. It would’ve been helpful if the staff had stepped in to assist. The hotel itself could also use more attention to cleanliness, particularly in the hallways. We could hear conversations from the hallway in our room, which impacted the sense of privacy. For a hotel that’s considered the largest and most luxurious in town, we expected a bit more. That said, the gym and pool were nice features, which we did enjoy. However, we didn’t try the spa or massage services, so we can’t comment on those. Overall, with some improvements in service and room quality, this hotel has the potential to offer a better experience. Hopefully, management will take this feedback on board and make the necessary changes!

This hotel is our default stayover when visiting Pursat.Whilst somewhat basic by Western standards, it has an excellent swimming pool and small kids pool.The food is good with a wide selection on the menu and at breakfast.Our only issue is that the mattresses on the beds are very uncomfortable.

The staff were great. Nice pool. The bathroom was really grim and had lots of mould. No way I would take a bath there. The booking said river view but it was of the car park. I don’t understand how it’s more expensive here than a really nice hotel in Phnom Penh or Siem reap. I would not stay here again.

I stayed at the Pursat Riverside Hotel in February, 2024 while on my bike tour of SE Asia and found it a great hotel to stay. Big room with flat panel TV that had CNN, CNBC, and HBO in English. The AC is excellent, kept the room cool, very quiet. The staff were all outstanding, helpful and accommodating, excellent people! My room fridge did not work when I got to the room and a guy came up from front desk and got it to work. And I really liked that there was an electrical outlet right by the bed.

Best hotel I have stayed at during my 2023 holiday. Modern clean room. Friendly staff. Excellent restaurant that has a good buffet breakfast . Fantastic well equipped gym. Huge outdoor swimming pool. Would definitely stay here again.

A few stays here. Pursat wouldn't be Pursat without. Helpful & proficient, quality. Spa, gym and pool all well maintained. Five star; no question about it.

The spacious clean rooms overlooking the river were nice. However, we were disappointed that the King room had no balcony, as the website had promised. The breakfast was nothing special. The worst thing was that the hotel had an extremely loud party literally right outside our window, pumping out Cambodian dance music all night.

While other good rooms can be obtained in Pursat city, this is by far the nicest. Rooms include a good breakfast. There is a large pool, gym, spa, and it is a brief walk from the main Cambodian market, Pursat's mini mall, grocery stores and shops. Local street food is abundant and nearby. The hotel staff is very professional.
