Pushp Paying Guest House

My son and I went backpacking in India for five weeks during July and August 2024. We stayed in the Pushp Guesthouse in Jodhpur for a few days and really enjoyed it. We were very well looked after by Kabir and Rinu and made to feel like a member of the family. Pushp Guesthouse is very much a family home with several rooms included in the old haveli for travellers to stay in. It gets the balance right between informality and friendliness on one hand, and ensuring the guests’ privacy on the other. It’s very well located for the old town and the Fort, but on a quiet lane away from the hustle and bustle. There’s also a great rooftop restaurant serving good food with good views of the Fort. Highly recommend.

Our stay at this Pulshp Guest House was truly wonderful! The family who runs it is incredibly warm and welcoming, always greeting us with a smile. The room we stayed in was a charming blend of character and comfort, impeccably clean and equipped with modern amenities like hot showers and efficient air conditioning A/C. One of the highlights was the enchanting rooftop area, a peaceful oasis with breathtaking views of the fort. It's undoubtedly one of the best rooftop spots in town. We can't help but wish we could return to this gem of a place. Thank you for everything - your hospitality was truly amazing!

We stayed for five nights and found Pushp to be a fantastic value in a great location in the Jodhpur old town near most of the rooftop restaurants and the entrance to the Mehrangarh fort. The family who runs the guesthouse is exceptionally kind and friendly, and the restaurant they run is excellent, as well. They do not have the staff or amenities of a high end, Western style hotel, but the prices are more than fair and out of the dozen or so guesthouses I've stayed at during a couple of trips to India, this is my personal favorite.

We loved our stay here!! The family who owns the guest house is so lovely and cute, they helped us a lot always with a smile. We love them! The room was beautiful, very comfortable and clean. Also the rooftop is magical, quiet and comfortable. We had really good food there as well for dinner. I wish we could go back! Thank you for everything! You’re amazing.

Highly, HIGHLY recommend staying here whilst in Jodhpur! The family are extremely kind, friendly and welcoming! They treated us so wel from the minute we arrivedl and were so inclusive, even inviting us to one of their family events one evening! The rooms are basic and have all you need to enjoy a stay here. There is unfortunately, sometimes, a lack of water pressure and hot water, but it is enough to be able to have a shower and wash! There is a rooftop terrace which boasts stunning views over the Blue City and of the Fort above and gives such chilled evening vibes. They also cook food to order here, which is highly recommended! We ate at the guest house every single night throughout our stay 😊😊 Location is within easy reach of many sights and approx a 15 minute walk up to the Fort above. The area is safe, even at night. And it is also quiet enough, however some neighbouring properties did play loud music some evenings (this did stop between 11pm - 12am) however this is not the guest houses fault! 10/10!

One of my favorite guesthouses in Rajasthan! Spent a few nights here and loved it. The whole family takes real good care of you with everything. From grandpa to their daughter makes sure you feel at home and their hospitality will surely make wanna come back someday. The breakfast was splendid, I ate the combo all three mornings. The room we had was nice, it took some time to get warm water but it worked. Go here if you want to have pleasant stay in Jodhpur!

The couple who own Pushp are very warm and kind and welcoming. The rooms are very basic and ours had a window that was frosted glass, so we couldn't see through it. There is a nice rooftop terrace where you can order 3 meals/day, and it is shaded and a nice place to sit when tired of the hubbub of town. The one challenge about the place is that it is down a very narrow lane, which neither cars nor tuk tuks can get through, so as long as you can walk with your luggage, you are fine. If not, this might not be the place for you. It was fine for us. Very convenient to the fabulous fort, in the heart of the old city.

Very lovely guest house with an amazing view from the rooftop terrace. The staff was very helpful with our requests and even helped us organising the birthday of one of our friends. We had dinner there once as well, and it was very delicious and fresh. Only downside was the bed, it was quite hard and too short for tall people.
