Pyrenees Malioboro Hotel

I stayed in this hotel in July. I booked 4 rooms with different types. Location : Very near to Malioboro Street. Just 5 steps forward then you reach the main street. Very strategic. Room : •superior. A bit narrow but the floor is clean. The amenities are complete. Kettle, cups, coffee, and sugar. And…TISSUE. Toiletries provided. •Junior. It is a spacious area. Clean and has a mini fridge. Can add for extra bed. Toilet: clean, shower and sink were well functioning without any clogs. Services: The check-in and check-out process was smooth. But, this is the first time experienced staying hotel that you need to restore your room card every time you want to enter your room. Like why? Food : breakfast is okay. Food is good. Environment : the hotel has a small fish pond.

Location was good. Just next to Malioboro street. But it’s alittle noisy as it’s not a very tall floor hotel. Need to get hairdryer from reception. Toilet was big and only shampoo provided. Toiletries pack include toothbrush, toothpaste, shower cap. Towel was old, better bring own towel if fussy about it. Pillow and quilt was pretty old. Overall, value for money!

Everything is quite ok, especially the restaurant. The people are also quite nice. There is just incredibly loud construction works going on on the roof and we cannot rest in the room. Yesterday we asked and they stopped for a bit. Then they continued. We asked again and they stopped. Today at 10:00 am they began again. It's just not possible to be in the room because of the extremely loud noise and vibrating walls and floor...

Just a walk away to the famous Malioboro. Room is clean and spacious enough. Bed is comfy. Natural light by glass roof design makes the hotel ambiance brighter. The breakfast menu is standard, but you can always find a lot of delicious foods nearby such as the legendary gudeg mbok lindu. As 3 star hotel with very strategic location, it's worth the price.

Business trip in Jogja Very superb location only a few step to Malioboro, that place never sleep. The food was good for 2 stars hotel Memorable and amazing travelling , hope I will be back again

The location is very good, extremely near to Malioboro Street, I think you can crawling into Malioboro because it's so close, just walking distance hahaha. ||||This is my pros (+)||-Location, location, and location. Just what I said above, the location is very great, in the downtown of Yogyakarta, so you don't need to take a taxi/cab to Malioboro, Tugu Station, and Keraton (>1,5 km). Malioboro provides lots of souvenir street hawker (but you must able to bargain, because they like to mark up the prices), cheap street hawker food(it called ANGKRINGAN) near hotel and Malioboro itself, Batik stores, and American fast food on the local area. Just walking distance from this hotel||-The hotel price is affordable (rather cheap), with a great architecture (modern style), and modern interior design with little touch local content (wayang) in the mirror. my room was adequate and clean, but the toilet is huge. Amenities are adequate too.It has a TV, small cupboard (not wardrobe), and electric plugs beside my bed. ||-Adequate breakfast, enough for me, taste is so-so but it's OK.||-Parking area||||Cons (-)||- I think this hotel is not suitable for elderly or disabled people who use the wheelchair or big suitcase, because that's a lot of stairs to climb from ground (street) to reception, and you must take a stairs again to lift.... After take a lift to room, you are luck if you get a room with the same floor w/ lift. But if you get a mezzanine, you must take a stairs again ! wow.. [See photos to understand what I said about the hotel's layout]||-The lift is very narrow and small. I think big suitcase isn't fit into the lift. Baby stroller is very fit with 1-2 people(s).||-View from the room is corridor and stairs, but it's OK if I compared with other hotels in Sosrowijayan. |||| I'm sorry, not sure this hotel is suitable if you bring a big suitcase or stroller, because that's a lot of stairs to climb and narrow lift. But I highly recommended for business or leisure for young people (or anyone who can use stairs) with light baggage/ small suitcase/ backpack who no problem to climb stairs. Because it's price is good and GREAT LOCATION.||||..

Booked 2 rooms for my group... Nice place to stay... Free wifi... rooms clean... Elevator available to access to your room...but from roadside to lobby and lobby to restaurant (that’s where the elevator is)...u need to climb the stairs... not to worry, staffs very helpful...will assist you carry your luggages. You only get 1 door access card...so ask for another if u need extra for your partner or to power up your room aircon while you’re away. Limited breakfast choices... but there’s lots of delicious food sold by the pavement outside. ||The only incident happened during my stay was...before we went for breakfast and short shopping hours we did hang up “Do not clean room” on our 1st day there coz we really messed up the room with our stuffs ... and when we are back, the room had been tidy up. Not sure if we should be happy or not, just that we preferred if nobody enter the room as we had requested.

Built in 2013 the Location is prime in night shopping & local culinary Malioboro street. Total 28 rooms divided into suoerior, deluxe, suite. The suite room is enough space 22m2 & 16m2 for superior. The design is unique as the lot size is small about 18x25m. Price is bit expensive in weekend, got around Rp. 850k/night.||Room lighting needs to be improved. Towel bit smelly at first. No outside window except to the corridor hallway. So it must be closed shut all the time. ||Room is clean & staffs are friendly & helpful, considering our room door is locked for about 1 hour due to low batt in doorkey panel. ||Breakfast selection is limited but ok. The breakfast place is open space & must admit the hotel floor design is unique, half floor each hallway facing each other.
