We loved our room. There was peace and quiet in the beautiful area surrounding the hotel. |The bed was very comfortable and there was air conditioning and a roof fan to protect us from the summer heat. The owners and the staff were very kind accommodating and helpful throughout our stay! There was also a small kitchen in our room and we could prepare our meals and snacks. There was a nespresso coffee machine for our first coffee. Also our room had two balconies that we enjoyed a lot as one offered shade in the morning and the other in the afternoon. Everything was very clean. We loved it and will be coming back!

Absolutely stunning! One of the nicest accommodations we have ever used. Lovely rooms (each is an apartment on its own), designed in a way to offer privacy. Very spacious with loads of storage space and a kitchenette that you can prepare a warm drink or a light meal. The rooms are cleaned every other day. The hotel manager was very welcoming and provided us with very useful recommendations that made our stay on the island truly remarkable. The view from the terrace is just wonderful, and the complex has a beautiful pool if you don’t fancy going to one of the beaches. If you’re looking into staying on the south or east part of the island, look no further, you won’t get a better/nicer place.

What a wonderful destination. Exquisite accommodation modern but in rustic style. Stunning views, the pool and grounds are fabulous. Eco-friendly, environmentally aware. All round, it's an absolutely delightful base to explore this wonderful island. Eri, our host is charming and very helpful. She stayed very late to welcome us from the night ferry. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had a wonderful 5 night stay Stayed in deluxe suite which was really well equipped and wonderful sea views. Eri was so helpful throughout our stay and even arranged for a taxi from the port on our arrival. A quiet peaceful place. A short walk to the town Delicious breakfast. Would definitely recommend

Having travelled extensively in Greece we can say this was the best accommodation of its type we have experienced. We were there for 3 nights only and it was joyous. It was unusual, but exceptional, in terms of building and concept and our suite had absolutely stunning views to Samos, Fournoi and Patmos. ||The pool was a welcome and excellent bonus. Our breakfasts were outstanding. Shower had good pressure. Wi-Fi good. Room had a fan and air con. Room was beautifully dressed. ||And, it would be remiss not to comment upon the warm, welcoming and most excellent contribution of Eri the complex ‘manager’ who simply could not have been more generous with her time and helpful. ||There is nothing to dislike about this accommodation. ||However, the ‘village’ is a fair way ‘up’ and whilst it is walkable down to Agios and back ( we did it twice in one day) it is a struggle. Certainly I wouldn’t want to lug suitcases up there and it isn’t for those with mobility issue. And don’t try it in high heels ! Taxis can be booked (€5 one way) to/from Agios and the harbour but are difficult to get at night and so you if you go down in the evening be prepared to struggle back up. ||However, food can be easily ordered ( from 3+ restaurants in. Agios) and will be delivered to your accommodation’s door. Ikarian wine, Ikarian beers and bottled water can be bought from reception. ||If you stay for any length of time you probably need a car.

Ikaria is raw, rugged and mountainous. That being said don’t expect Mykonos luxury. That’s the point! Pyrgos was clean, quiet and charming. Loved the views and bottle of wine upon arrival, delicious! Eri was always available by phone anytime and in person in the morning to afternoon. The breakfast was great even though not included pay a little extra , but can’t beat the view! Yes it’s on a hill for some driving and walking can be a bit challenging but it’s definitely one of the nicest properties in Ikaria! I recommend if looking for solitude and charm.

The facilities have very nice and beautiful architecture on top of Agios Kirikos hill. Our room was spacious and very clean with amazing view on the sea. Our contact person, Eri, was very communicative and nice. In the room we had a nice surprise too: a few things for one breakfast and some local wine. You can easily walk till Agios Kirikos village by foot, the way back can be a bit difficult for some people since the uphill can be very steep. In any case, a parking spot is also provided in Pyrgos village facilities. I would say that it is one of the best places to stay in Ikaria, highly recommended.
