A must-visit in St. Petersburg! I waited in line for about 10 minutes, but it was totally worth it. This place is full of Soviet-era charm, with a simple interior and a nostalgic feel. The pyshki (Russian donuts) are freshly made, warm, and dusted with powdered sugar—absolutely delicious! Pair them with a cup of old-style coffee and you’ve got the perfect local snack. It’s cash only, so come prepared. Despite the crowds, the service is quick and efficient. A true local gem that lives up to the hype!

Pyshechnaya, located at Bolshaya Konyushennaya Street 25 in St. Petersburg, is a cherished institution renowned for its delectable, freshly made Russian donuts, known as “pyshki.” These warm, sugar-dusted treats are complemented perfectly by a cup of coffee or tea, offering a simple yet delightful culinary experience. The establishment exudes a nostalgic Soviet-era ambiance, with its modest decor and straightforward menu, which many patrons find charming and authentic. Despite its unassuming appearance, Pyshechnaya has garnered significant popularity among both locals and tourists, often resulting in long queues. However, the efficient service ensures that the wait is manageable, and the experience is well worth it. One of the standout features of Pyshechnaya is its affordability. Visitors can indulge in multiple pyshki without straining their budget, making it an ideal spot for a quick snack or a light breakfast. The cafe operates from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, providing ample opportunity to visit throughout the day. In summary, Pyshechnaya offers a delightful glimpse into traditional Russian snack culture. Its delicious pyshki, combined with its historic atmosphere and reasonable prices, make it a must-visit destination for anyone in St. Petersburg.

I consider this place useless trap for tourists. USSR atmosphere? It's gone long ago. But low level service has not. Typical Russian donuts as anywhere else. The place is crowded within higher season. Poor menu. The price level is usual for touristic areas.

Mouthwatering! Glad that I finally found the time on my last day to go to this place. Cash only, very cheap. Plan to eat at least 3 donuts. The solviet coffee is an interesting experience too, but indeed a bit too sweet.

Must vsit. This is a soviet era donout shop. Google for more information. You must definitely come here once. The menu is all in Russian but seek help from others to translate. beware - the donuts are really oily but tasty :P. Eat with a hot cup of coffee/tea. Also, dont forget to click a picture with/ or of the Cat.

Kind of donuts but on a sovjet style. Really tasty, for a cheap price! Go early in the morning or after 6 otherwise there will be rows. Can recommend it! #lowbudget @Selontour

Expect a long queue if you plan to visit this place. Visited 1630H, but still it has a line. The donut is a bit oily but chewy from the inside. Freshly made and sprinkled with sugar. Worthy of try though.

It is a cool Soviet time cafe that makes amazing donuts. They are fresh and delicious. Please order at least 4 donuts, because you won't understand much from one. They also have 2 cats living in the cafe wich add cuteness to the place.
