Q-Factory Hotel

Great stay in a cozy part of Amsterdam. We had a very large room that was clean, warm and modern. Great to have a kettle in the room and a window that opens. In a great location only a few minute walk from the train into central Amsterdam or tram to get you to the outskirts in 10 min. There was a concert there on the Saturday night and in our room we didn’t hear a thing !! Great cafe downstairs and restaurants nearby.

Spending one night here was definitely an experience; concrete floors!! With some small, sad rug in the middle of the room; bathroom with view through window across the street, to another apartments - without any blinds. As far as you don't worry about being nude for people across the street and you bring slippers, you can have a nice time here.

We stayed at this hotel with our child. Overall the stay was fine and the beds were very comfortable, so we slept well. The area is great – quiet, safe and close to shops and cafés.However, the room was a bit cold and our child got chilly at night. There were no carpets on the floor, so our socks were always getting dirty and the floor felt dusty. The breakfast was also quite weak, with a rather limited selection.In general it was an okay stay, but with a warmer room, better floor cleanliness and a stronger breakfast, the experience could be much better.

The Q Factory is a great, simple hotel. I was a bit unsure after reading mixed reviews. But I believe some people are just picky. But if you don't mind a minimalist approach, then it's fine. |The hotel is very nice, has a nice bar area, and the reception staff were lovely. The room is very simple, but overall perfectly fine for sleeping and hanging out. |The only thing was the bed; it was a double, but two single mattresses held together by a mattress topper. Apart from that, it was great. The room has a desk, a mini fridge, great wifi and a big TV and the shower was great. In a good area, plenty of supermarkets and shops. Also, like a 5-minute walk away from the station. For the money, it was a very good hotel, clean, fresh and very quiet considering it's a music venue/school. I would definitely go again, and if you don't mind a minimalist room then it's perfect.

When I started reading the reviews before I went i wanted to change hotel.... so glad I didn't. The hotels location is great 5 mins train from central then a short walk. Plenty of shops roundabout. The building is like a music hub with lots going on. The cafe is excellent with lots of choice. |The hotel room was very basic but very clean. Tea/coffee facilities and tv. Probs the best shower we have had in a hotel for a while. No hairdryer. |Overall a great experience.

The hotel has a good location and the room was simple and functional. However, the soundproofing was very poor. Every time someone entered the floor and closed the main door, the noise was clearly heard inside the room and even caused the room door to shake, which was quite disturbing.Overall, the stay was acceptable for a short visit, mainly due to the location, but better sound insulation would significantly improve the experience.

For a 3 star hotel, it provided a 3 star experience. So our expectations fit the experience. The service was great, the people were friendly and they did provide a travel crib that we asked for. It could be loud on weekends at night. The hotel portion was located on the 3rd floor. The 2nd floor has a lounge/bar and the first floor has a restaurant/bar. The rooms were spacious, not exactly as pictured (for us) and we wish there was a larger table or desk.

Stayed for a couple days to explore Amsterdam. Public transportation was very close to the hotel. All of the workers were very nice and accommodating. The room was smaller but all we needed as we spent most our time outside.
