My honest review of this hostel:
The location is very good. However, cleanliness is only 5/10. Unfortunately, the biggest issue is the staff, who clearly lack professionalism and basic hospitality skills. There is almost no interaction with guests, no genuine willingness to help, and no respect for reasonable requests. The team is poorly trained in reception services and in the management of tourist and hospitality facilities. This is an investment project, and such behavior seriously undermines its potential.
I say this with full awareness, as I work in this field and fully understand hospitality standards.
When I arrived late, the beds in the room were already occupied, so I took the upper bunk as stated on my key card. After all roommates had checked out and before new guests arrived, I asked to move to a lower bed. The cleaning staff member—who was also acting as a receptionist at the time—told me to request this from the front desk. When I politely asked the front desk attendant, explaining that I suffer from leg pain and that climbing to an upper bunk is physically difficult for me, my request was flatly and rudely refused. This was despite the fact that I offered to clean the bed myself and change the linens for the next guest.
Because of this unreasonable refusal, I was forced to put the next arriving guest in an awkward situation, simply because I was the first to have booked the bed.
Moreover, the staff’s attitude toward guests is arrogant and dismissive. In a gesture of goodwill, I offered a gift through one of the reception employees: a box of premium Algerian Deglet Nour dates, internationally recognized as one of the finest varieties. My intention was to introduce my country and reflect the generosity of my people. Unfortunately, this gesture was met with clear contempt and lack of respect.
Honestly, if you choose to book this hostel, do not expect appreciation, respect, or professionalism.
