I was fortunate today to attend the Ethiopian baptism feast day at the Jordan River. Hundreds of Ethiopian pilgrims marched toward the water, immersing themselves in baptism in great numbers while conducting ancient, colorful ceremonies along the riverbanks. It was a powerful and fascinating experience!

This place is not very interesting if you are not a Cristian. People go there to get baptized the way they believe Jesus was baptized and they believe that qas the right location. The place is under construction and it was a bit messy. The only thing I could find interesting was to see the border with Jordan so close. It is weird that it can be so fragile and easy to cross. I know there is security, but not very convincing. There are a few ruins of churches, but nothing is explained. And the heat it is almost unbelievable, way too hot.

This place was really cool. Great place to stop for a quick 30 minute visit while driving the Jordan Valley road. It’s said to be the spot where the Children of Israel crossed the Jordan into the Promised Land, the prophet Elijah departed from Elisha is protégé and where Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist. You can also see the border of the Kingdom of Jordan with a Jordanian soldier standing guard. It’s most moving to catch a Christian group perform a baptism here.

What can be said about this site that hasn't already been said? This place is incredibly holy and important to Christians and also very popular with other tourists interested in the story. Important to remember that this place is always busy but particularly so during the Christian holidays.

Jerusalem is a country worth visiting not as we read about it in books only, but when you are in the place where we read about it we find many events and we understand more and clear the picture and find the truth we are looking for and what distinguishes Jerusalem from other countries it includes the world's largest religions and Christianity Islam and Judaism and how to live with some of them despite the minor differences between them and I recommend that you visit them because it is Ajayeb precisely where the Lord Jesus Christ at the hands of John the Baptist and the river that baptized him sanctity and a wonderful feeling to stand in this place

A holy place for Christianity and a traditional place for Judaism. According to Judaism this is the place where the 12 tribes entered the holy land after 40 years in the desert.According to Christianity , this is the place where Jesus was baptized for the first time. There is no entry fee,The place has been renovated for the benefit of the participants. Changing rooms ,toilets,a gift shop where you can buy a cloak to dip in the river,( 8$ us) Easy access to the baptism site, there are places to pray,A real spiritual site,
