Qatar Airways Business Class Lounge

Easily one of the top business class lounges in the world. The lounge is extremely spacious, and access is limited to business class passengers only, which really helps avoid the overcrowding you often see at other so-called 5-star airline lounges (ANA, SQ…please take notes!!). The à la carte dining is exceptional, the service is smooth and attentive, and the staff are consistently polite and professional. Proper shower facilities are also available, which is a huge plus after getting off a long flight. This lounge is honestly one of the main reasons I keep choosing to fly with Qatar Airways.

Highly recommended if you’re doing a long layover in Doha, Qatar. The place is spacious, plenty of resting areas, has a quiet area for a short snooze and even has a gym (I did a full 10km run during my layover).

One of the best lounges I’ve ever experienced—this place checks all the boxes. Hot dishes made to order, handcrafted cocktails that could rival a high-end bar, and even a dedicated smoking room that feels like a classy cigar lounge from a Bond movie. It’s the kind of spot where you accidentally stay way longer than planned… and enjoy every second of it.

When you hear and read lots about Qatar Airways and finally get the chance to fly them, it is still a jaw dropping experience. With so many lounges it took a while to find the right one (beind Harrods is the best clue). Boarding pass will be checked at the bottom of the escalators and then up up we go above the terminal. There are no closed walls so the terminal noise travels a bit with you (especially at midnight NYE). Upstairs a reception desk and more staff welcoming the guests. Overall there are a lot of people working in the lounge: cleaning, security, waiting tables. Once past the reception i am greeted by a massive water feature which sits under the upstairs restaurant. Chairs and lounges are scattered all around. There are additional areas they can open when it gets busy. It is a lot of space!There are shower facilities and bathrooms but when there is a wait there just walk along the far end of the lounge to the a la carte restaurant and then to the quiet area as there are more showers. At 5am I didnt have to wait for a shower but on the return it was a bit of a wait there as well. The facilities are spotless and spacious for an airport lounge. For breakfast I chose the upstairs restaurant where there is a bar and a barrister, buffet style breakfast as well as a la carte. I chose buffet which was good as the ordering process was a bit of a mess with people not getting the food they ordered. The rest of my time waiting was spwnd in one of the comfy chairs in the middle of the lounge. As this is a silent airport no announcements are made and walks to gates can be long so be prepared. Loved my stay here and can't wait to be back.

You might see photos, you might see reviews, but nothing truly prepares you for the overwhelming opulence that the Qatar Airways Business Class Lounge has. Doha Airport has two business class lounges - South & The Garden. We went to South, which is on the southern end of the terminal next to Harrod’s Tea Room and the giant yellow stuffed teddy bear. An attendant will check your boarding pass before you can go up the escalator to the reception desk. Immediately, you are struck by the immensity of this lounge - it is practically the size of an airplane hanger. There is a huge water feature when you walk in, above which is the lounge’s main restaurant. You can take the stairs or elevator up and they have a range of menu options, both buffet and a la carte. In the rest of the lounge, there are a range of seating options, chairs of varying degrees of plush and recliners as well. There is also a quiet area with a number of individual sized pods that have a chair and a couch in each. For groups, there is a family area where the pods are larger and have both a couch and two chairs. Both the quiet area and family area are open air so sound does travel which encourages everyone to whisper if talking. By the family area, there is a second smaller restaurant with an a la carte menu which you can order to your pod. Special tip: you can ask one of the attendants for a blanket which they will deliver to your pod. Get two, one to lie on and one to cover you so you can be extra cozy! Facility-wise, there are men’s and women’s showers. You may need to wait depending on how busy the lounge is, but they can take your name down as well. The showers are quite large and they provide you with Diptyque toiletries inside. There are also multiple bathrooms spread out across the lounge. The entire lounge is absolutely spotless. There are a number of attendants who immediately clean after you vacate an area, including your bathroom stall. Everything is immaculate, even more impressive considering the sprawling size of the lounge. Another note, there are no overhead announcements so keep track of your flight time! Visiting the Al-Mourjan Lounge South was an incredible experience in and of itself. We would fly Qatar Airways again just for the lounge. It is hard to believe there is a First Class lounge which is even more luxurious!

OMG what a nice lounge! Not only is the food and drink service very good, the accommodations are very comfortable. When I first got in it was very crowded, and even though it is huge, it was packed, but it thinned out eventually. It was very clean and everyone was really nice. At one point I thought I had lost my money clip (my money, credit cards, ID) and people at the lounge were extremely helpful and helped me go talk to security. I would have never gotten that kind of help or customer service anywhere in my home country of USA. This is the nicest lounge. I am specifically flying Qatar airlines in JAN 2026 in part because of how nice this lounge in (and how much better Qatar business class is on the plane also.)

A totally outstanding experience I had a long layover, I was able to get a good rest(nap) at the quite room then took a shower and snack Very relaxing a great experience that complemented the amazing business class flight with Qatar airlines. 💖💖💖

The lounge is quieter than the main airport, and having access to showers is conveniently great However, for the price, it didn’t feel like a true business-class experience. Amenities such as sleep rooms and showers are reservation-based and limited. During my long layover, I spent most of the time waiting rather than resting. The sleeping chair was uncomfortable and did not recline fully, and lighting could not be adjusted. Food options were limited and average. Overall, it felt like paying to sit in a different part of the airport rather than fully recharge. But a nice experience!
