Good place for a Half Day Visit..It's like a historical landmark. But Government interest to protect and maintaining is limited Security is available. Good parking available inside. Maintenance and support is less. One Hotel is working at the site.

No entry to main fort area. Just outside round can be taken. It is on lease to Hotel company. Even muesuem cannot be visited. I had been to many states and forts, that are well maintained and gives a sight to rich history of the place and state, but it is sad to see the royal city, Patiala 's palace in such a ruins and not open to public.

Qila Mubarak in Patiala is a significant heritage site showcasing the grandeur of Sikh architecture. While the fort’s exteriors are impressive, its interiors are not fully accessible to the public, and photography is strictly restricted—you’ll need to deposit your camera at the entrance. Within the complex, you’ll find Ran Baas, a luxury palace hotel, and another palace currently under restoration. The place holds immense historical and architectural value, but tourism could be promoted better if certain areas were opened to visitors and photography allowed, even with a nominal ticket fee. Despite the limitations, it’s worth a visit for those interested in history and heritage.

Extremely luxurious resort with fine dining and heritage stay . Most of the part of quila is now a private property ( hotel Ran BAAS) , not a tourist attraction per se .

Finally visited the Ran Bass hotel. If you have the money go and stay at a luxury boutique niche hotel. The manager is a gentleman called Mr Anthony. Knowledgeable on the history and updates done to the hotel. If you like the voice of Morgan Freeman, Matthew mcconnaughey or Roger moore he has a riveting voice that tells the history behind the hotel. Not allowed to take photos inside but can understand why for exclusivity. Staff first class. Service impeccable. Got the money GO

Qila Mubarak in Patiala is a heritage site, but unfortunately, the fort's interiors are not fully open to the public, with photography restricted within the premises. If you're carrying a camera, you will have to submit it at the entrance desk. The fort houses a luxury palace hotel by the name of Ran Baas. Another palace within the fort's premises is undergoing restoration. While the place is beautiful and speaks of rich Sikh architecture, the restrictions on photography and entry could be relaxed, or a ticket fee could be imposed, to promote tourism here.

Well this Monument is closed for renovation so you can only view the place from outside. Not much to see and explore here The Hotel Ran baas is situated in the complex which can be accessed only with Reservations Hope Punjab Govt renovates and opens the Qila for public view

Patiala just got his crown, the ran baas palace is Punjab’s first luxury palace hotel. Must visit here to experience the royal experience. The food is good, must go for experience. I really like the hotel and its a must visit in patiala
