Stayed here last year with my partner and absolutely loved it. The rooms are so well kept and very modern. The outdoor powered blinds are especially cool. Location is great for transport into the centre of Amsterdam. Would definitely stay here again and would actively seek out other Ruby hotels to stay in when travelling in the future

We had a wonderful stay at Ruby Emma Hotel , a big part of that was thanks to the amazing staff. Everyone we interacted with from the front desk to housekeeping and restaurant staff—was incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. Special thanks to Charlie, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. It’s clear that the team takes pride in their work, and it really made a difference in our holiday experience. Thank you all for your outstanding service. We’ll definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to coming back!

Self check-in didn't work because it could not write the room details into the card by itself, had to talk to a human but that doesn't really matter as the service itself was good. The hotel is right next to a metro station. Good location if you want to go to ArenA, Ziggo Dome or the central station. The breakfast was pretty good but no hot food at all! The elevators were fine in the end but why can't they just have normal elevators and invest money into improving basic features for an overall better experience instead. Same goes for aggressively advertising the eco-friendliness of everything instead of providing a better service that can still be eco-friendly. When entering the room after a certain time the outside blinds would automatically close and the lighting setting would switch to high brightness and the only way to open the blinds is to use the ipad, could not find any physical button for that functionality. Everything about this was super annoying. The room creaked during night and I'm pretty sure this sound was not coming from the closeable outside blinds from other rooms but from something else. It was very annoying for a couple of nights. The room did not have any complementaries like candy, water bottles and tooth paste (paste can be found for free in vending machine if you look hard enough though). It also didn't have a mini fridge. My friend's room did have a mini fridge but even with the temperature turned down it was not cool enough to be useful. This is a big shame.

I stayed at this hotel in Vienna before and loved it, so I chose the same brand again for my trip to Amsterdam and it didn’t disappoint! The location is excellent, very close to the metro station, which makes getting to the city center super convenient. The hotel facilities are outstanding and very modern. My room was incredibly spacious, comfortable, and perfectly quiet. I especially appreciated that there is a bar area on every floor where you can get hot water anytime. Breakfast was great as well, not a huge variety, but everything was high quality. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back again.

What an AMAZING hotel. It is so advanced in technology, room design and functionality as well as great staff members! From the bar that opens until very late to the great comfort experienced in our room, we literally didn't want to leave. A huge shout out to Dylan, he was very helpful and informative while we were there and made sure all was well every time he saw us. And another gentleman helped us with the bikes hiring, forgot his name but he's from the UK. Thank you all very much for making our stay the best!!

Have enjoyed our three night stay here. The hotel is away from the centre which means no (or very few) rowdy tourists, but very close to the metro so you can be in the Central Station in 10 minutes. Rooms are very modern, and environmentally friendly. Tea/coffee and all the snacks in the corridor; so was the iron and dental/shaving/sewing kits. Not sure if it was by design but the minibar/fridge in our room didn't seem to cool at all; to be fair not had a chance to raise it with the hosts either. The breakfast is full continental, so if you prefer yours cooked you might want to venture out.

Great stay in Amsterdam! The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. Special shoutout to Charlie, the bartender, who provided excellent service and crafted some really delicious drinks for us. Her warm hospitality made our last evening in Amsterdam memorable. Would definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers!

Alltogether we have spent a beautiful time at the hotel. The room was cozy and very modern, the bed was comfortable. It is in a great location, very close to the metro station, however not noisy at all. Nice touch to have a small tea kitchen on some of the floors to make a morning beverage. The only thing for us missing was the housekeeping service, because during our stay noone came to for example take out the trash. Maybe it was our fault for not asking the hosts about it...Other than that I'd recommend it :)

Yelp
I'm so happy I booked the QO Amsterdam for our final night before traveling home. I was able to get a room with IHG points plus $70, which was a pretty great deal. The hotel is located a bit closer to the airport than where we stayed previously in the city center, which was my reason for booking at this location. This definitely saved us time with getting to the airport for our early flight. We arrived in the evening and received an upgrade due to my IHG membership. Our room was spacious and very smartly designed. There were two different types of scented bath products, plenty of space to store everything, thoughtful touches like combs and nail files, slippers and more. Everything electronic is controlled by an iPad, which is cool but comes with a learning curve. I did appreciate the many options for lighting, including around the mirrors. Very helpful for getting ready! After enjoying some drinks at the gorgeous 21st floor bar, Juniper & Kin, we made our way back to the room to relax. The (huge!) TVs can be linked with a Netflix account, so we settled in for some binge-watching and ordered room service (via the iPod, naturally). The room service menu could use some work; there weren't many options. Our order of a burger, chicken blt and fries arrived fairly quickly, but I soon discovered that my sandwich (the chicken) wasn't up to par. I reached the room service line to request a swap and this was handled fairly quickly. The burger was a little unconventional but tasty, and the fries were great. Later, when I put the tray outside the room, I selected the option on the iPad to have our tray picked up. A short time later, we received a call from guest services asking if the tray had been picked up. Huh? I thought the whole point of this iPad option was to eliminate a call. The woman waited while my husband went to the hallway to check. Nope, the tray was still there. A little later (now after 10pm), we received yet another call from the same woman again asking if the tray had been picked up. At this point, we were pretty annoyed. No one should be calling a guest room after 9pm, period. Overall, the hotel itself was really wonderful and I'm looking forward to seeing if the QO gets rolled out elsewhere. If there's a way to opt-out of in-room calls, I'd like that as well.

Yelp
We stayed at the QO for 4 nights and found the service top notch. The technology was top of the line. Unlimited water and sparkling water in the room was a nice touch. Everyone who worked in the hotel was warm and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

Yelp
Worst hotel/ customer service ever!!! PLEASE DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE THAT WE DID! We had confirmed reservation from IHG Hotel & QO Hotel changed the rate and did not notify us when checking and they charge different rate! We paid Breakfast in advance specifically asked the front desk person in case we don't utilize it. They said there would be no charge, we used Breakfast for one day, and they charged with 280 Euros four days on my credit card when call hotel extremely unprofessional and never credited my card! The Worst hotel/customer service ever!!! Do yourself a favor, stay elsewhere.

Yelp
This hotel is amazing!!! Stopped through Amsterdam during a European vacation w/ family and stayed at QO. It was such a wonderful, relaxing hotel and was really just the comfort we needed in the middle of a long tour. Amazing staff, amazing rooms with the most comfortable hotel beds you can imagine. The decor is so beautiful and modern and we just loved the environmentally friendly Zen atmosphere. If you're in Amsterdam this hotel is where you MUST stay!!
