I guess I bought a little too much into the stories and history behind the place before visiting, and while the sandwich was fine, it wasn't too memorable. I had better meatballs on several occasions in Albania. The koftas were a little too salty and had zero juices, but they were well-charred. The queue wasn't too bad, maybe 10 minutes around 10am. I'd consider offering diced onions or something with both crunch and liquids in them, but I guess they aren't changing their ways after 50+ years in business :) The usual order seemed 5 koftas (35ALL/piece) for a sandwich (15ALL for bread). They don't sell ANYTHING besides these, so byo drinks.
