QT Auckland

Certainly the hotel is trying hard to be a hip and happening place. The overall design vibe seems a little bit “confused” and not really having a recognisable theme. Or if they did it escaped my non hip palate. Also while every staff member was very professional everyone seemed a bit unhappy? I got the vibe it may not be a great place to work. The aircon was loud and very confusing to figure out as was the light switch configuration (which I believe is being rectified). The designer toiletries didn’t really do it for me compared to other brands. On the positive the bed and pillows were awesome. Also the set up of the restaurant has a real nice atmosphere and our breakfast was nice. I’m sorry to be so negative but our 1 night stay wasn’t cheap (parking alone was $60). It was also quite noisy ( I’m not exactly sure where the noise was coming from but I think it was from inside the Hotel). I think I would choose to go with another brand when I’m back in AKL

Would highly recommend this QT Auckland. Checked in for a weekend stay. Landed in Auckland Friday morning from Australia and I knew I was early but I was greeted by the amazing Matilda at the front desk. She was more than happy to look after my bags (gave great coffee recommendations) while I went and killed some time until my room was ready. The bar area/ foyer area was clean and well presented and the team serving were more than happy to help. The room was lovely. Plenty of space and the bed was so comfy. Loved the feel of it all. The shower had plenty of space and there was even black out curtains to help with the jetlag naps. Night one. I went up to the rooftop and was greeted on entry. Although I had no booking I was promptly sat. Ordered this tasty cocktail and the lamb skewer. (So good went back the second night and ordered both again) Location was great. 13min walk to Skycity or 5min uber. 7min walk along the water to the Vaiduct and Auckland CBD.

I had a wonderful experience with the staff and the room I was in. I arrived at 5 AM and I had some complications with my reservation. The Front Desk was very accommodating and helped me out. Specifically Alex Duong and Vishavjeet. They made sure to explain to me my options and then give me the best offer. I will definitely be returning to QT Auckland in the future. The room was ready and wonderful! Thank you for making my trip memorable.

The staff we dealt with were fabulous. They really make the difference. All were very friendly and helpful but I want to make note of how easy it was as we couldnt get a park close to the hotel - when we told them where we were parked for the valet parking it was no issue - they just went and picked up the car and bought our luggage up within 15 minutes. The one staff member I really want to call out and recognise was Nicole who was on the desk overnight on the night of the 24th of October. We had an issue where we needed to move rooms at 4.30 in the morning (noise from the room next door all night). Nicole went above and beyond - she found us another room and upgraded us at that time of the morning so we could get some sleep. Our daughter was in the room next to us and she organised for her also to be moved the next day. She went out of her way and it really turned what had been a bit of a miserable night around and I cant speak highly enough. The location is also fantastic and the hotel is very funky and has a great vibe. Lifts are super quick and the beds are incredibly comfortable. Nothing to fault about the room at all.

I had an excellent stay at QT Auckland Hotel. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained. A special mention to the staff in the breakfast area Catherine they were awesome! Always cheerful, attentive, and ready to help with anything. Thier warm service every morning made my day start perfectly. Overall, I highly recommend QT Auckland Hotel for anyone looking for comfort, great service ang genuinely hospitality. I'll definitely comeback

What a great hotel! Super-friendly staff, great art, and ambience. Wonderful service all around. Our rooms were promptly made up each day, and the high-quality à la carte breakfast menu provided a refreshing break from the usual hotel breakfast buffet. Great cocktails and wines, and a pumping rooftop bar! Wonderful location with easy walking access to most main attractions, or if you are able, the scooters are a fun option to get around town too!

I read great reviews about Alex the concierge at the front desk before my visit. Oh my goodness he was fantastic even better than I expected. He went totally out of his way to make my stay even better. Thank you very much Alex, you are a legend. All the very best, Scott McDonald

I was partially hosting a conference last week and we had amazing service from all of the team from set up to pack down.| There was 1x staff member who was assigned to us for the day and that was Lucky, he was amazing, so helpful, nothing was a problem. He went above and beyond and I wanted to highlight him as he deserves a special mention! We stayed at the hotel also and enjoyed the Rooftop bar as well as Esther’s restaurant, DELICIOUS!!!!!
