Really lovely hotel in Auckland and close to everything. Parking was nice because you just pull up and they park it for you in their lot. We really enjoyed the comfy bed after a long day. The staff we talked to were very friendly too and gave us good suggestions on what to do while we were there. We went up their rooftop bar one night too and it was very cool. Would recommend to anyone staying in the city.

We visited our son in Auckland from the UK over Christmas and chose QT Auckland as our base. It was the perfect loaction for getting out and about, yet a step away from all the noise of the Viaduct itself. The rooms were roomy, clean and comfortable and the matress was the most comfotable we've ever slept on. Very important on a big trip. While all the staff were attentive and helpful and the food in the resuarant was consistently fabulous I'd like to give a few shout outs to: Shannon, for such fun breakfasts! Annamie, (I hope that's how you spell your name) for her very helpful wine recommendations. Ava and Sue - unfortunatley while we were staying I received some very bad news, it was not unexpected but I was very upset. Sue sat me down and made sure I was OK. Ava also saw I was upset and not only took the time to make sure I was OK but also was thoughtful enough to find out which room we were staying in and to leave a few treats and s very kind and thoughtful note in our room. Last but not least to the Director of Chaos (an interesting job title) for a reminder of home when we first entered our room.

The check-in person Nihal was extenrly helpful and friebdly, showed us a room to see if wed like to uograde which we did. All the staff were amazing from reception to tge rooftop bar and the restaurant where we had the amazing Melody. The location was close emough to bars and restuarants to walk but far enough that noise was minimal. Highly recommend.

Would highly recommend this QT Auckland. Checked in for a weekend stay. Landed in Auckland Friday morning from Australia and I knew I was early but I was greeted by the amazing Matilda at the front desk. She was more than happy to look after my bags (gave great coffee recommendations) while I went and killed some time until my room was ready. The bar area/ foyer area was clean and well presented and the team serving were more than happy to help. The room was lovely. Plenty of space and the bed was so comfy. Loved the feel of it all. The shower had plenty of space and there was even black out curtains to help with the jetlag naps. Night one. I went up to the rooftop and was greeted on entry. Although I had no booking I was promptly sat. Ordered this tasty cocktail and the lamb skewer. (So good went back the second night and ordered both again) Location was great. 13min walk to Skycity or 5min uber. 7min walk along the water to the Vaiduct and Auckland CBD.

I stayed in a Deluxe Twin room and overall had a mixed experience. The staff were friendly and the room itself was spacious with a good layout. However, most of the twin rooms appear to face Fanshawe Street, which is a very busy main road with a direct view of the Fanshawe Street car park. I found it noisy (even on the fourth floor) and was woken by trucks and traffic. I was told there are some twin rooms on the third floor facing Customs Street West, which may be quieter, but none were available. The room doors slam shut loudly. Noise from people in the room next door and from people in the corridors was also disruptive. There is no complimentary bottled water (presumably for sustainability reasons). Instead, you can purchase a QT-branded water bottle for $25 and fill it at a water station in the corridor, or bring your own. Small improvements could be made, such as placing a rubbish bin near the tea/coffee station. I needed a replacement jug due to it leaking. Lighting in the bathroom is very dim, and I imagine it would be difficult to apply makeup there. Despite requesting housekeeping, I had to phone to have pillowcases changed as they clearly hadn’t been refreshed regularly. The staff serving breakfast were great, especially the lady who appeared to be in charge. I was accommodated with a late check out of midday which was appreciated. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you are booking a twin room or for an extended stay.

I had a wonderful experience with the staff and the room I was in. I arrived at 5 AM and I had some complications with my reservation. The Front Desk was very accommodating and helped me out. Specifically Alex Duong and Vishavjeet. They made sure to explain to me my options and then give me the best offer. I will definitely be returning to QT Auckland in the future. The room was ready and wonderful! Thank you for making my trip memorable.

Great location for the harbour and downtown. Rooms are clean and well designed. The sliding sink wall is a bit weird and no instructions for the nespresso but all in all a good hotel with decent food. Very basic gym but keeps the flab off whilst working away.

A solid four stars. The restaurant is fantastic, the location is great, and service was always friendly—they were very accommodating with our two young kids—but the rooms aren’t 5-star. There are just little things about the design and decor that detract slightly, but we slept well and I’d still recommend it.
