After a lot of research on Queenstown hotels, I'm very happy with our choice of QT! We stayed in a Remarkable King, which did have fantastic views. Do note that the hotel is built into the side of a hill and it looks down over their sister hotel (Rydges) that is at lake-level. It's quite clever that the two hotels are connected (share restaurant and bar area) and you can take an elevator down from Rydges right out to the lake, so you never have to walk up/down the hill. It's about 0.5mi/0.8km walk along the lake to town. From our room, you can look down onto the roof/parking area, but if you look out, all you see is gorgeous lakes and mountains...certainly when you wake-up in the morning, your views from bed are purely stunning! ||The room was spacious with separate sitting area, plenty of room for our luggage. Bathroom also very large with great tub (that fits two) and walk-in shower. It was my birthday while we were there and I was greeted with a handwritten birthday card from the staff and a complimentary bottle of bubbles, it was great! Staff was very helpful, we called several times for a bucket of ice and it was brought-up within 5 min. ||Only negative was the breakfast, we only had breakfast at the hotel one day for convenience, and it just wasn't great. Plenty of better cafe options in town if you have the time. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay, great staff, beautiful spacious room and gorgeous views!

A nice experience.||Rooms are good and spacious: good view, with balcony overlooking the lake. Nice bathrooms. Bed was comfy and spacious. ||Check in staff were great. lots of tips and helped with extra activities (e.g. they recommended and booked a great table at the restaurant Soda in town, so good).||Parking was extra but convenient.||Breakfast was good, the bar was good.||Has a pool but no onsite gym. They give you access to gym in town. ||Short walk to the main part of Queenstown.

Probably one of the most stylish hotels we have ever stayed at and the both of us have travelled the world. Well planned layout, stunning views from the rooms, restaurant and bar, welcoming and friendly service, and lots of nice touches to make your stay exceptional. We are so glad we made the choice to stay here. Highly recommended.

Stunning view with the Lake King room! Modern design and amenities. It did not have a gym but there is a small pool and the front desk happily gave me a voucher for the local gym. The front desk team went above and beyond with accommodating all my needs and requests from gym, umbrellas, taxi, restaurant recommendations, and outdoor activities on the day of.||The hotel is a short walk away from the town albeit an incline/hill walk which is expected for the view!||Happy with the breakfast buffet as well!

With over NZ $900 per night our stay was not very impressive. The view over the lake is beautiful but we had the roof of the Rydges obstruct over half of the view.|Roomservice kept forgetting to top up tea, coffee, bath salts and mini bar.|The breakfast was barely 3 stars. The tables wouldn’t be cleaned and we had to move dishes and wipe the table ourselves. There were water glasses on the table but no staff ever put water bottles on tables. We could see them at the clean up station amongst the dirty dishes. Decent coffee wasn’t included (has to pay for a non dairy cappuccino) and out of two self serve machines only one worked. Lines were always to get coffee and often beans or milk were empty and the staff attention was hard to get in between signing in new people and making paid coffee. The eggs on one of the prepared dishes (Shashuka) were dried as if they sat over night.|When we finally checked out there were 4 charges on our bill that were not ours.|On a good note the reception staff was outstanding and very helpful. In particular a British guy who worked double shifts all week. We appreciated his attentiveness.|Distance to town was also great. However, there were some earthworks in front of the hotel and we had heavy machinery operate in hearing distance until 11 pm.|All in all I think the price value ratio was off

This is my go-to hotel in Queenstown. I’ve stayed there about 20 nights so far and each time the staff are always amazing. Each room has salon-quality shampoo & conditioner and a Dyson blow dryer which means you can pack little lighter. The restaurant is amazing, and sometimes they have happy hour oysters for $2 on Fridays and Saturdays which is always my go to.

We had the most wonderful stay at the QT Queenstown. We selected the hotel based on other reviews and all of our expectations were far surpassed! All of the staff were so friendly, the hotel was clean, we had a stunning view of the lake, and walking to town was super easy. The staff even surprised us with a little treat for our honeymoon. We wish we could've stayed much longer because we really loved it!

Beautiful Hotel! This hotel has the most amazing view of the Lake and the Mountains! Just across the street from the lake, and just down the street from several great restaurants. The beds were comfortable and the food from the Breakfast Buffet to Dinner was Great!!
