After a lot of research on Queenstown hotels, I'm very happy with our choice of QT! We stayed in a Remarkable King, which did have fantastic views. Do note that the hotel is built into the side of a hill and it looks down over their sister hotel (Rydges) that is at lake-level. It's quite clever that the two hotels are connected (share restaurant and bar area) and you can take an elevator down from Rydges right out to the lake, so you never have to walk up/down the hill. It's about 0.5mi/0.8km walk along the lake to town. From our room, you can look down onto the roof/parking area, but if you look out, all you see is gorgeous lakes and mountains...certainly when you wake-up in the morning, your views from bed are purely stunning! ||The room was spacious with separate sitting area, plenty of room for our luggage. Bathroom also very large with great tub (that fits two) and walk-in shower. It was my birthday while we were there and I was greeted with a handwritten birthday card from the staff and a complimentary bottle of bubbles, it was great! Staff was very helpful, we called several times for a bucket of ice and it was brought-up within 5 min. ||Only negative was the breakfast, we only had breakfast at the hotel one day for convenience, and it just wasn't great. Plenty of better cafe options in town if you have the time. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay, great staff, beautiful spacious room and gorgeous views!
