I really enjoyed my meal here and would go back any time! Food was absolutely delicious, staff was friendly (you order at the counter and pay right away), cool interior and prices are all ok. Be aware that the sizes of the portions are something between an appetizer and a main course. So, order two dishes if you're hungry. I recommended the steamed bun (veggie) and the salad with avocado and pomegranate :D

Stopped by for a cappuccino and it was alright. The location is fancy and has an unique design. The atmosphere was good and staff mostly friendly. The cappuccino was ok, but didn't convince us. The price was too high though, 3€ for a small cappuccino to go. Well, try it out and share your experience.

Nice, friendly atmosphere, quick service. I ordered the honey roast chicken and it was very flavourful, good size and I enjoyed it a lot. (The chicken had the skin on it so if you don't like that you might wanna ask without). Steamed buns and Vietnamese coffee is also nice :).

On the positive side, the service was truly amazing, with attentive and friendly staff who made the dining experience enjoyable. The atmosphere of the place was also very pleasant, creating a welcoming and comfortable ambiance. However, I couldn't help but feel that the value for money was questionable. While the food was tasty, the prices seemed to be on the higher side, making it difficult to fully justify the overall expense. Despite this, if you're willing to overlook the slightly higher prices, the restaurant does offer a great dining experience in terms of service and atmosphere.

OMG! It is delicious here and very cozy! Absolutely great place even if one in general prefers to eat typical german cuisine dishes.

Found this on Google when I searched for banh mi. I ordered a Báhn Bao - Beef and it is really tasty. Food came in under 10 min. The Drinks are cooling in this hot summer. Both were excellent! Bread and marinated beef were nice. Ingredients were fresh. Flavor was perfect. Prices were fair and service was quick and friendly. The restaurant is typical typically Vietnamese decorated.

We had the honey chicken and two different buns (minced meat and beef). It was an explosion of great tastes. Very fresh, very tasty and very light. I definitely recommend this authentic Vietnamese place and would always come back!

Awesome place for some good Vietnamese small dishes. Place is nice and warm. Food is wonderfully tasty! The bun bao, the Ga Ro Ti, the pho cuôn... Just go and enjoy!

Yelp
This was an awesome find in Berlin. We were preparing for a two-week meat bend so we prepped our tummies with healthy and fresh Vietnamese in Berlin at this establishment. We heard that there is usually a long queue for lunch and dinner service but we got lucky beating the crowd by coming in for an early dinner around 6:30 on a Monday night after a bike tour. Ordered pretty much half the menu and everything was scrumptious. From the pho roll with beef and tofu, salad with pomegranates, rice ball stuffed with savory mung bean paste and pork to heartwarming chicken congee and chicken with clear noodle soup. We enjoyed every dish served but the star is the chicken congee-this was clearly made with love. The ambiance is also very nice and we'll do curated-those with long legs may be more comfortable at a beach table. Overall, this is a gem in Berlin. We hope this establishment continues its success so that we can patronize them again in our future visits.

Yelp
We went here for dinner and ordered: - Vietnamnese egg loaf for 8.50€ (Com trung duc chay): 8/10 the taste was good. The combination and content of the egg was great with glassnoodle, morel. - Sticky rice with tofu 5€ (Xoi Tofu): it was not bad. The tofu comes on top of the sticky rice. We had to put soy sauce on top of this dish. You can simple imagine 1/2 cup of sticky rice with fried onion and boiled tofu. The idea is great and easy. But again you have to add soy sauce. 6/10 The ambient is like a cafe. They also focus on drinks that's why the menu is not super large. The seatings are low so it's hard to eat somehow. The dishes are cheap and great. We would come back to try other dishes!

Yelp
Great Vietnamese café not far from the center of Berlin. My brother took us here on our last visit to Berlin. We were staying near Alexanderplatz and so this was not too far away. He claims it is too hipster of a place but I actually really liked the décor and the fun vibe of the place. We shared the stuffed rice crepes and the bahn bao. Both were really delicious. We also had Vietnamese ice coffee and it was great to see it made in the traditional filter coffee style. Definitely a great spot and further shows how diverse the Berlin food scene is.

Yelp
Customer service: B Restaurant hour said opens at 9:00am, we arrived at 10:15am and they were still not ready to take orders. We waited for another 10-15 mins before we could order over the counter. Our lady waiter was a bit unfriendly while preparing the Vietnamese coffee. Food: B (1) beef crepes: delightful and flavorful. (2) classic banh bao: a little on the bland but it was good. (3) braised pork banh bao: dry pork. DO NOT ORDER. (4) banh gio (Reismehl-pyramid): flavorful and unique. (5) Vietnamese ice coffee: personally, perfect amount of sweet. However, coffee quality is alright. It tasted a bit water down. Overall, decent meal. Only wished that everything was more fresh considering that we came quite early in the day.

Yelp
Very likeable place near Rosenthaler Platz. Outdoor COVID seating is comfy but not much happening in the way of shade, so at noon, you're in blinding sun on almost all of the seats. Mien cold glass noodle salad was nice, nothing special by way of sauce (and only soy and for some reason sriracha was on offer), but it came with yummy sesame rice crackers and pickled baby eggplants. Rice dough pyramid had surprising morel mushroom flavors, although the ground pork meat was hardly distinctive. The real standout was the xoi sticky rice - both the ground pork/mung bean and the ham/pork floss were out of this world. Prices aren't bad - about 5 euros per dish, and dishes weren't tiny.

Yelp
This place is solid. The food is delicious, and it reminds me of a warm, home-cooked meal. I ordered the pork belly rice dish, and although the pork belly is a bit tough, the flavors are very traditional. This meal is very simple - it consists of rice, half an egg, steamed veggies, and braised pork belly. I also ordered the Vietnamese iced coffee, which tastes standard. My only gripe about the Vietnamese iced coffee is that it costs €1 more than the Vietnamese hot coffee! Seems a bit excessive for three cubes of ice... Overall, this place has a great vibe, and I could definitely see myself coming back.

Yelp
The rice plates are quite good. My favourite is the chicken rice plate. Unfortunately forgot to take a photo of it. The buns are alright, reasonable price for Berlin. The seats by windowsill and dim lighting creates a casual ambiance.

Yelp
Would have been 3 stars but the experience went from good to bad in 5 minutes. So I'm in Berlin on vacation and was recommended this place for a quick bit. I went here to get lunch on my second to last day. They have seating outside and inside. It's self sitting but you have to go in to order. Ordered the Beef crepes and a Mien (10 euros). Guy at cash register asks if I want anything to drink (doesn't warn me that I can't have outside drinks). I was enjoying the food, but as I'm eating my food, a female staff working there told me I'm not allowed to drink the water that I brought with me. Um okay... don't get me wrong she asked nicely but what a terrible experience. I went from enjoying my lunch to feeling extremely annoyed. I understand some restaurants don't allow outside food or drinks but there are no signs anywhere saying that and I was not warned about that when I ordered. Maybe they should provide free water like other restaurants instead of not giving you the option and making you pay for more stuff that you don't want. It seems a little unreasonable in my opinion. Also guess what, if I didn't plan to buy a drink, I certainly wasn't going to buy one after you told me I can't drink my water. Sheesh! If I had known I would've taken my food to go instead (but who knows if they would even let you do that!).

Yelp
Cozy spot with clean flavors. This is a lunch spot that won't break the bank, and may just make you unbutton your top button. It's the type of place that has an authentic kitschiness that hard to not crack a smile at. The tea and coffee were almost as satisfying as the food. Chow down.

Yelp
authentic vietnamese cuisine yes, but not the best and freshest taste... we had 5 diff. dishes for the review: banh bao: soft, filling missed bit of blackpepper for flavor and they had too much veggies instead of mince pork so less flavorful chao ga ( chicken congee): was light, flavorful, not many chickenpieces but still good banh khuc ( khuc sticky rice cake): filling tastes good xoi cha gio: sticky rice with viet. sauges, taste was ok, sticky rice was not steamed just warm up in the microwave banh gio ( steamed rice cake with mince pork mushrooms filling..): filling was ok, the rice cake tasted like they didnt really cook it well, very floury still n just didnt taste like how a good real banh gio should taste iam not trying to put anyone down, I am sorry if it sounds like, just my opinion and think for most it will taste good, and most don't care anyway;) for those who care this review is for u...;)

Yelp
One of my favourite cafes in Berlin! They offer a very wide range of drinks: Vietnamese coffee, tea or iced drinks. The food is rather a light meal in between that gives you energy without making you feel too full. I love to come here to finish some papers. The food is super fresh and delicious. They have some plates behind their counter to give help you deciding what to order. The owner is super nice and representing the new generation of Vietnamese cuisine in Berlin. Love it here!

Yelp
Great place for a casual coffee stop or a more hearty meal. Cafe su da (iced Vietnamese coffee) is great as well as the glass noodle bowl and the rice porridge.

Yelp
Really loved everything here from the decor to the food to the smiling service. We had the stuffed rice crepes and chicken glass noodle soup - wonderful complex flavors of Vietnamese food in perfect portions. Also had the drink with lemon, mint and basil seeds. I'd order the exact same thing gain except I'm curious to try some of the other dishes we saw coming out, all looked great. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Quà phê is really cute with a super nice decor and a glowing interior. I tried Vietnamese soup with rice noodles and chicken which was quite tasty. There are some other things I'd test out next time like the bun bao and sticky rice puddings. The staff were friendly and attentive and I'll definitely pop in again if I'm in the area.

Yelp
This place is super cute for a cup of tea or a Vietnamese snack if you have some time to kill or want to sit and chat with someone. I got the cherry coffee tea and a ginger candy and I really enjoyed it. It's served in a glass kettle with a small cup. You order it at the bar and just carry it back to any spot on a tray. It's cozy and it has free wifi. It wasn't very crowded when I went (weekday afternoon). Bathrooms are clean and staff is friendly.

Yelp
Good dishes and friendly service. Interior style like a cafe along the windows. Located next to a park

Yelp
Awesome veg and non-veg Vietnamese snacks - we stopped by here multiple times during 5-day visit to Berlin to pick up a little fuel for our long walks. Nice setting if you want to stay a while as well as quick takeout service.

Yelp
Quà Phê (nice name/pun btw) is a small, nice cafe in Berlin Mitte that reminds me of new, modern coffee shops that are really popular in Vietnamese cities right now: traditional but stylish decor with nice and friendly atmosphere, but with a food menu that is definitely more diverse and extensive. Food is really good and nicely decorated (I had bánh giò, and the woman sitting next to me had chicken congee whose smell was so wonderful I almost ordered one myself). But coffee is not that special and a bit overpriced imo (but again, I'm Vietnamese so I can be a bit picky). Friendly service. I'll definitely come back to try out other dishes, but probably gonna skip the drinks.

Yelp
A nice little cafe inspired by Vietnamese cuisine. You can get there some small Viet dishes and drink spiced coffee (which is filter coffee with some condensed milk) or some other Vietnamese teas. The service and the decor is really great. In summer they have some places to sit outside a bit off from the busy streets. Great spot.

David R.

Yelp
Probably one of the nicest places to get small things to eat while enjoying a delicious coffee /tea at the same time. Staff is super friendly. Really like this place

Yelp
As an Indian born and brought up in the tropical rainforests of Southern peninsula, this is the closest I have come to eating the food of the rainforests. An excellent place!

Yelp
I went here because it is right next to Cuero De Vitto. The bun bao was really good. But what got me going back again and again is the kongee - the rice and chicken soup. It's not one of their big ticket dish, but i just LOVE the way they make it. Whenever I feel a bit cranky or moody, or when just tired, I go their for this soup for a fantastic pick me up. It's easy to lose focus on a simple dish when you can make more money with your more complex dishes, but the love and care they put on the kongee has me being a long time fan - I also bring people here and recommend the place to many people as well.

Jane M.

Yelp
This place is just the ticket for divine Vietnamese food, which isn't over-salted, over-sweetened or doused in coconut milk. As well, the service is tremendous. I would definitely recommend Quà Phê.
