Fun little dive bar with good pub style food. We went to see Lemon Crow they were awesome. Great music, fun atmosphere. Had a blast dancing around in the upstairs area. Good drinks and friendly service. Also fun to watch the ferries coming and going outside

Great service. Lobsta roll was tasty at $35 for 1/4 lbs. How ever the chowder was super tasty. Beans are great. Get the beans.

For those of us trying to make a boat home, the Leeside is usually a solid choice. But this evening we ordered one of the lobster rolls and all laughed when we opened it: there was only one very small claw, a small piece of tail, and no other lobster meat in this $35 roll. We also ordered the lobster bisque ($22) and it was a small cup with three small tidbits of lobster. It was nothing like the pictures seen online and it had a strange, glutinous and gummy consistency. This was a takeout order so maybe the food is more consistent when you eat in, but had we not been running for the boat we would certainly asked the kitchen to remake our items or refund us. Really disappointing.

I'm a big fan of this spot. The atmosphere is welcoming and laid back. The servers and chefs are super nice folks. It's easy to tell that they genuinely care when they ask how you're doing. A beach bum like me can sit next to someone in a tailored Brioni and get the same friendly service. The downstairs bar is a fun spot to strike up a conversation. I love how blue-collar workers, academia, and other types of folks all mix together when the boat is about to depart or after it arrives. The upstairs has an incredible view of the water. The food menu is a nice combination between pub food and local favorites. The crunchy cod is a nice change of pace from the heavy batter that most places use. The craft cocktails are intricate, yet simple enough that they don't take ten minutes with a mortar and pestle to be cultivated. I'm looking forward to coming back soon to try out more cocktails and relax by the water.

We had biked into town on the rail trail from N. Falmouth that led us to this pub that overlooks the ferry terminal. Nice spunky gal greeted us. “Are the margaritas any good?”, she replied “the way I make em they’re good.” We liked her immediately. They were good. Also the hot steaming mugs of quahog chowder was the best. Home-made and not from a base. Rich, creamy and buttery. So flavorful from the smoked bacon. I regret not having another. The broiled stuffed quahog was the winner. Ritz crackers w chunks of linguisa, quahog and with drawn butter completed the lunch. Another Margarita would have been nice, but we had another 10.6 miles back to the trailhead. We’ll return.

Enjoyed a delicious lunch of a Lobster Roll and Lobsta Bisque. I appreciated the nice decor and very knowledgeable waitress. The lobster roll has a generous portion of well chilled meat and a lightly toasted buttered roll and the Bisque was hot and tasty with a great flavor. I will definitely go back and try something else next time.

Exceptional food with the friendliest of staff - Shelly & Sarah played a blinder!! Lovely welcome on arrival, and taking care at every turn of your time with them. Highly recommend an indulgence whilst awaiting the ferry, or before departing on your trip upstate. It's right beside the ticket office, and the bus to Logan airport is right across from their entrance . You will be sure to have a warm reception, filled, satisfied belly and the coolest of beverages to sate your thirst.

Service was great minus the wait time to get the food. With only 3 people sitting in the restaurant waiting for food. The food was mediocre. The coleslaw was atrocious loaded with mayo and had a brown yellow color for my liking no seasoning. Fried fish was mostly all breading the fish itself was MIA for $22.00 and the ocean right there where was it?

Yelp
After visiting the Woods Hole Aquarium (the oldest marine aquarium in the country), we took our three-year old grandson for lunch to Quahog Republic's Leeside Pub (29 Railroad Rd.) in Woods Hole. What a delightful experience, due not only to the quality of the food and the charm of the venue, but to the warmth, humor, and personality of our server Jenn. My review for card-carrying members of team Cliff Notes: "A cozy pub atmosphere with lots of regulars, flavorful food, personable staff, with a view of the ferries, at competitive prices." Everyone else is invited to continue reading. We've taken our older grandson (now 6) to lunch in Woods Hole a few times after visiting the aquarium and really enjoy the "on-the-water" vibe and décor of Captain Kidd. Unfortunately, Captain Kidd is still closed for the season and so is Land Fall. So, the options were limited. Having enjoyed a meal a few years ago at the Onset Quahog Republic, we decided on the Leeside Pub. Parking in the immediate area is a challenge but we lucked out with parking on Main Street--just remember to bring quarters--which of course I did)--less than a block away. We were seated at one of the long tables as soon as we entered. Jenn, who was server, bartender, and food runner (from upstairs down to the restaurant), quickly took our drink orders--a seltzer for my wife, an apple juice for our grandson, and a freshly brewed iced tea for me (the iced tea was wonderful). While I quickly looked at the menu before we left the house for the aquarium, we already knew what our grandson was getting--a lobster roll. It comes with a side and he chose French fries (no surprise there). I wanted a mug of their chowder. My wife ordered a pulled pork grilled quesadilla. Even though there were plenty of people in the restaurant, Jenn had it totally under control and our food arrived quickly. I was impressed that they had individual pepper grinders at every table. I love a little chowder with my freshly ground peppers and don't really understand why most places do not have whole pepper grinders. The chowder was very tasty--slightly thicker than I might make myself (but definitely not goopy), plenty of clams (I believe they were chopped quahogs), only a few potatoes (which is always a good sign), and well flavored broth with a hint of applewood smoked bacon (the signature addition to Quahog Republic chowder). They have 3 sizes of lobster rolls at Leeside Pub--a 4 oz, an 8 oz, and the "monsta." Our grandson got the 4 oz and it was perfect for him and he dug right in, picking up a claw and biting in, waiting for his extra crisp fries to cool. I tasted the lobster and the bun and was impressed with both. The lobster tasted clean and fresh--two whole claws and quite a bit of knuckle meat (our grandson is a fan of claw meat), very, very lightly dressed, on a piece of leaf lettuce inside a butter-grilled, split top brioche roll. The lobster roll also came with a container of melted butter for dipping (or pouring I suppose). Our young gourmand really enjoyed his lobster--no fork necessary--and more of his fries than his mother would probably be happy seeing him eat. But that's part of the fun of visiting Nana and Poppy's house. A full belly nap of nearly two and a half hours for our grandson resulted once we got home--giving us some time to rest as well. My wife's pulled pork quesadilla was substantial and well-stuffed with a cheddar and mozzarella cheese blend and the pulled pork. It came with a side of salsa and a side of sour cream. I took a taste for reporting purposes (hehehe) and would certainly order this dish for myself. My wife certainly enjoyed it while she was helping to feed and otherwise entertain our grandson. I should note that they have, by way of description, an authentic looking Cubano on the menu which might be worth exploring on a subsequent visit--slow roasted pork, black forest ham, pickled red onion, chopped pickles, swiss cheese, and chipotle aioli on mustard buttered french roll. Despite the steady flow of customers, many of whom were picking up take-out to bring aboard a departing ferry, Jenn visited our tables throughout the meal to check in on us (though, having an adorable three-year old as a guest is always something of a server magnet). It was a totally memorable meal and for all the right reasons. Certainly a place we will visit again and I would encourage you to do so as well.

Yelp
Came here a couple times during my trip to Woods Hole. Happy hour on a Tuesday was really good, service was great and appetizers were good. Had my first Quahog and I think it must have been sitting for a bit, didn't have much flavor. The mini lobster roll was good and good chucks of meat. The second time, orders Fish and Chips to go(not pictured), was really crispy and tasteful.

Yelp
We had a couple gift cards to this place. It's a cute small pub where the bus and ferry station is. Super convenient. The service was extremely friendly. Our server was patient with our questions and we decided to get a quahog, hot dog and a veggie pizza. My friend is vegetarian and they were very accommodating! You also get free popcorn for the table which was nice. The food is greasy but that's what you expect at a pub, we had a lot of fun!

Yelp
Very nice place to have drinks and a bite to eat as you wait for a bus or fairy. Basic friendly service for locals.

Yelp
This is the perfect place to wait for the steamship ferry to Martha's Vineyard. Our scheduled ferry and the one after were both cancelled due to inclement weather and this place quickly got packed with fellow ferry-takers. It's a ship themed pub-restaurant with American fare. We ordered the pale ale and IPA on draft with Parmesan fries. Food and drinks were both good, nothing extraordinary. The bar tenders were busy given the high foot traffic and as a result the service was quick/not too much time to chat or be friendly. They have a popcorn machine and a lucky duck game machine in house. They also have a rooftop deck, which was closed when we went but is apparently open on warmer days. Overall, good transit stop en-route to Martha's Vineyard.

Yelp
We had 50 minutes to eat before we had to return to our car for the ferry. Paula took total care of us. She even sent us next door to the new patisserie while we waited for our food for coffee and amazing baked goods! We loved the chowder and fish and chips. Caesar was average. Paula was super friendly, and the food was out fast. Give yourself a few extra minutes to stop here before you catch your ferry!

Yelp
While waiting for nearly 4 hours for the ferry to the island my family and I went to the Leeside for a bite to eat...to our surprise we had the best Cubano sandwiches ever! Even better than the Cuban restaurants in Boston. So good we stopped there and ordered it again on our way back after our vacation from the island.

Yelp
Walked in to a few empty tables. Sat down and was ignored for over 10 minutes. This place had been a favorite for years before this incarnation of the leeside. If they continue to ignore people they won't survive. It's really unfortunate. Not even a hello, just ignored. Don't waste your time - went across the street and was warmly welcomed with a snack and a beverage in under a minute while I sat at the bar and watched my boat come in. Leeside you gotta up your game.

Yelp
This place is absolutely horrible!!! So sad!! Nothing like Quicks whole!!! The food is beyond terrible as well as the cocktails.. such a shame!!! The only good thing was the server/bartender Sarha.. i would recommend get food if you have to be in standby or eat on the boat because the food is better on the boat!!!! And thats saying a lot!!!
