The rooms and bathrooms and furniture are quite dated. But did have a nice sleep as the bed was comfy. Breakfast buffet wasnt the best, just standard really Barista coffee was very tasty . Location is good, just need to update the rooms and furniture.

All very serviceable! Could do with an extra power point next to the bed, and ended up using a spare towel for a bathroom mat. Bed was extremely comfortable, the shower hot, so all the main boxes ticked. Stand out for me was the service - the front desk team in particular were so helpful and easy to deal with.

Took my 8yo and 16 month for a 2 night stay. They loved it. Very quiet hotel not too far to walk into the city and close to public transport. Nice breakfast and comfy beds. My daughter didn't want to leave. Was nice to have a bath and shower in the executive suite as well. Decor is dated but didn't affect our experience and stay.

We ended up in this hotel because some sport event left us basically no choice. In fact it was not a surprise that some rooms ( scandalously overprice given the circumstances) were still available there as this is certainly a last choice option. As for the good points the rooms are large and the location is pretty good. For the rest the hotel is very very tired. The rooms are almost empty, no safe, no bed lighting, large bed made of two ill adjusted single ones, view on a wasteland… This hotel cannot justify its status in any way and should be completely overhauled.

I had a wonderful stay. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with a smile. The room was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, making my stay very comfortable. I truly appreciated the attention to detail and the warm hospitality. Highly recommended! Only drawback was I'm not aware on the hotel check out hour, I'm been charged 50AUD for the late check out.

This was our very first trip to Perth. If you’re planning to take trains or buses both within and outside the CBD, I highly recommend getting a public transport card called the SmartRider. You can buy it at the Airport Train Station customer service counter, located right next to the ticket barrier. The card costs AUD $10 (non-refundable), plus any amount you wish to top up.Using a SmartRider gives you a 10% discount on every ride. After the discount:Travelling within 1 zone costs about $3.15 per ride.Travelling between 2 to 9 zones costs only $4.68 per ride. There’s also a daily cap of $10.40, no matter how many rides you take.Inside the CBD, there’s a Free Transit Zone (FTZ) where bus travel is free. This hotel is within the FTZ, with a bus stop just 2 minutes’ walk from the entrance—very convenient. You can tap on and off any bus from this stop at no charge as long as you travel within the FTZ. Many buses from here go straight to Elizabeth Quay Train Station and Bus Interchange, where you can easily transfer to other buses or trains.Perth’s public transport system is excellent, with buses arriving every 10 minutes or less. There’s also a free CAT bus service with four routes (Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow). No tapping is required on CAT buses. A Red CAT stop is just a 5-minute walk away, on the street directly behind the hotel. If you’re driving, the hotel has a car park (charges apply). We stayed here for 6 nights. While the location and transport convenience are excellent, I would like to sincerely share some areas for improvement:Lighting: The room lighting was very dim, making the space feel gloomy throughout our stay. Brighter lighting would make a big difference.Water Pressure: Both hot and cold shower water had very low pressure, making showers uncomfortable.Air Conditioning: The air-conditioning was weak. We stayed in winter, so it wasn’t a big issue, but in summer it could be problematic.Carpet Condition: The carpets in the rooms and lifts could use replacement.Lobby Appearance: While not critical, a refreshed lobby and lift lobby would greatly improve first impressions for arriving guests. These are my genuine, heartfelt suggestions in the hope they can help improve the comfort and experience for future guests.

To whom it We celebrated our 38 th wedding anniversary at your hotel on Friday the 3/10/2025. The room was comfortable enough and used the heater as the room was cold . As to breakfast very disappointing! We arrived at 00830 on the Saturday morning . My husband bought the full breakfast and I the continental! Your motel is the only one to my knowledge that dosent have mushrooms or shallots, a choice of eggs and some sweet buns and a variety of cereals!!! His was cold dry and frankly not nice. Alls I could have was cereal and toast!!, And to top it off paper cups!!! It was a lot for what we got ! But come on paper cups!! Shame . The serving staff were rude discourteous and certainly didn’t know how to smile nor be quiet with dishes etc? Perhaps education in etiquette wouldn’t go astray? I asked her for some percolated coffee? She replied no I’m not making another one cause it’s past 0900 and I’ll have to throw it out!!! Well BooHoo! You got $42 from us and we were disgusted . Note to memory not to go back to ambassador hotel and tell all about our experience!! Yours sincerely

Yelp
This was a perfectly adequate hotel. Our beds were comfortable, shower was good, room was spacious. On the downside, the hotel was fairly dated and located a bit far from the main shops and eateries of the CBD/Northbridge. Service at reception was very good, friendly and polite. We appreciated that they let us check into our room early, around 1:30pm. I think it's fine for a night or two but I probably wouldn't want an extended stay.

Yelp
Well, all I can say is that nothing beats a free beer. Okay, while they don't necessarily hand out free beers to every guest as they walk in through the door, if you end up there at the right place and at the right time, you might get something on the house. The room I had was actually quite large, though that wasn't by design, that was rather fortuitous. Anyway, the staff were quite nice, and even though they charged for breakfast, they were nice enough to allow us to borrow a bowl and a spoon. The other cool thing about this place was the free wifi, which is always a bonus. However, the one issue was really one of the location, being about a twenty minute walk from the city centre, but then again it is also quite near other facilities.
