Some staff are amazing - shout out to Chandy who was super friendly. Others were just rude and too self important for the front desk.|The whole hotel is quite outdated and in need of a refresh. It still has a very mid-80s feel to the reception area with mirrored ceilings, glass bricks and couches that are more cracked than they are leather. This extends to the corridors on the floors, too.|The lounge area was open (if pointlessly empty), as was the restaurant for breakfast, but there are other lounge areas/cafe/something areas between the two that were closed for the entire week we were there. The dinner restaurant that they advertise (inc having their menu on the counter) is actually at the Comfort Inn across the road. We didn't try that, but the breakfast daily was good. A remarkably simple selection, but I did enjoy it. Solid feed that left me full to start the day.|The room was basic, but very clean. Props to housekeeping. The bed was hard as bricks. I like a stiff bed, but this was a little much. I could sleep on it, my fiancé didn't get a single good night's sleep the whole week.|Probably wouldn't stay here again. Given the price and the attitudes of some staff, as well as the distance to anything of note (we did already know it wasn't in the City Centre, so no biggy), we'll find somewhere else next time.

I have never arrived in a hotel and been asked if I want a portable heater. It became apparent the heating in the hotel has been broken for sometime and that the go to was handing out portable fan heaters that are noisy and drone on all night to try and stay warm, with airflow coming in from outside. The bed was obviously two beds pushed together with a very large ridge in the middle of the bed and you could feel every spring in the mattress. For a middle aged balding man finding long black hairs stuck to the bathroom walls, you are very sure they are not yours! The service was ok and it's only redeeming feature was the location. I will definitely not be staying here again!

Staff were very friendly, nothing was a problem. By booking direct we received a cooked breakfast each morning. The rooms were good, some things need a bit of work, ie shower head needs replacing as it just splattered water out but other things looked great. Would have been good to be able to open a window, as rooms got stuffy and with air con on, rooms then got cold. Great king bed. Great location, easy walk downtown, Perth Mint around the corner and bus stop just a couple of minutes walk away.

I originally left a great Google review as the customer service was so good and the room was clean. For my 2nd stay here all I can say is the customer service was still friendly and efficient, the location is perfect for the city but the room this time was terrible. We booked a suite, and please, please replace the bathroom vanity before you even think of letting that room out again. It was heavily stained and just disgusting. The sink tap just ran constantly unless we really tightened the taps and even then it dripped constantly. We took to washing our hands in the bath as it was easier. The toilet cistern had 2 big cracks in it and the shower pressure was non existent. We advised about the tap and was told there was no maintenance at the weekend. So much for the sign advising about conserving water.

staff were very helpful, probably the only affordable hotel around that has decent facilities. they charge you a security bond for $250 which they immediately refunded after you check out without any hassle, unlike many other accomodation in the area. would stay again, thank you.

I booked premier deluxe twin room, spacious room, all seem okay until i layed down on the bed for about 4 hours and i got itchy almost all over my body, i moved to other bed but i found a big spot of shit on the first layer bed sheet. Since then i never lay down on the bed and just sleep on sofa until i report them and they change everything on the bed. My skin is sensitive of dust and dirtiness. No openable window in all rooms is not good for long stay. Next 2 weeks i checked in again, and again and again i got my body itchy after 2 hours laying down on the top of bed sheet layer. When i checked the first layer of the bed sheet i found bugs egg on there. I checked the bed is very shabby. How come this 3 stars hotel get this kind of bed?! Even a very old hotel would not buy the bed from second hand market.

In need of a knockdown or renovation. Only meals available are full buffet or continental breakfast. WIFI is patchy at best. Finally if you are tired and jet lagged and arrive early do not expect to check in early - strictly 2 pm check in policy. The only saving grace is that reception person does refund your deposit promptly.

I wouldn’t come back here for a few reasons. The decor is dated, the service provided isn’t the best and staff seem really unsure of themselves, the cleanliness after rooms are said to have been “made up” is doubtful. Thankfully I didn’t pay for the stay, but paid through a loyalty program.

Yelp
This was a perfectly adequate hotel. Our beds were comfortable, shower was good, room was spacious. On the downside, the hotel was fairly dated and located a bit far from the main shops and eateries of the CBD/Northbridge. Service at reception was very good, friendly and polite. We appreciated that they let us check into our room early, around 1:30pm. I think it's fine for a night or two but I probably wouldn't want an extended stay.

Yelp
Well, all I can say is that nothing beats a free beer. Okay, while they don't necessarily hand out free beers to every guest as they walk in through the door, if you end up there at the right place and at the right time, you might get something on the house. The room I had was actually quite large, though that wasn't by design, that was rather fortuitous. Anyway, the staff were quite nice, and even though they charged for breakfast, they were nice enough to allow us to borrow a bowl and a spoon. The other cool thing about this place was the free wifi, which is always a bonus. However, the one issue was really one of the location, being about a twenty minute walk from the city centre, but then again it is also quite near other facilities.
