Quality Hotel Lakeside

We booked two nights with the Kingsize bed . Expecting a microwave and toaster but unfortunately there weren’t any cooking appliances. I have never had to fill a kettle in the bathroom…ever. |Beautiful view from balcony but unfortunately only one chair between the two of us? Just shy of $700 for two nights it is way overpriced for what it wasn’t. |Word of advice reception. Instead of asking upon our check out “ Did you use the water bottles in the fridge “ ( because they were $3.50 each) |How about asking “How was your stay?” |If you are going to charge this amount a lot more effort needs to be implemented into the rooms.

I absolutely love the Lakeside Quality Motel in Bendigo! From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. The rooms are spotless, modern, and incredibly comfortable — everything you need for a relaxing stay. Waking up to views of Lake Weeroona is a real bonus, and the location is perfect — peaceful yet close to town. Whether you’re in Bendigo for business or a weekend away, this place feels like a home away from home. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back! Make sure you ask for Zac!

Great spot only a few moments drive from the main centre and directly across from the beautiful lake and coffee cart. Spacious, modern rooms that were exceptionally clean. Comfy bed and mattress. Quiet location also.

Extremely over priced for what we received as a consumer, no value for money here what so ever, $700 for two nights, one double bed and a sofa, no kitchen facilities only a kettle and cups, not much of a view where we were, we have stayed in much better for much less, On departure we were asked “did you use the water bottles out of the fridge?” (At $3.50 each for a small one, not a chance absolutely left me stunned with that one lmao), you would think at $350 per night they would be complimentary) there was No “how was your stay?” On leaving, I assumed you get what you pay for, not with this one, Pop corn anyone? No wait! No microwave either, i think they expect you to dine in their restaurant , we couldn't do that on our last $350 night as it was closed, fish n chips here we come, bring your own water, lucky we came prepared, We will Be back in Bendigo, loverly town, but wont be staying at this one hotel, value for the money is a 1 out of 5, room cleanliness 4 out of 5, complimentary water in the fridge 0 out of 5, reception water bottle question (tipped it over for us) priceless, To the suites that are in charge running this place! Yes we do expect value for what we pay for,

Stop in for lunch today, I tried the chicken, cheese, and avocado toastie on sourdough, and it was simply delightful. The chips were cooked to perfection as well! The prices were quite reasonable for the quality of the meal. The staff were incredibly friendly too. I highly recommend it!

We stayed the last 2 nights in room 101. Nice & clean room. However daily housekeeping didn’t replace all the used towels. We were significantly inconvenienced by a GP exam that commenced in the function room next to our room. When we left the hotel to go out, we were greeted on the return “keep quiet signs, exam underway”. We had to tread around on our toes trying to not make any sound. I was given a horrible look by a women in that exam room. We paid to be there why should we have been inconvenienced by this. We should have been moved to another floor or placed in another room away from the exam room. I’m absolutely horrified we were treated so badly.

Room was tidy all staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok just some of the food was not to hot.

There for work related event utilising the conference rooms. Friendly staff and amazing food options.
