Quality Hotel Lakeside

Really lovely room and friendly professional staff. Our room was huge, decent sized balcony and all of the room inclusions you’d expect. There is a charge for the bottled water but it is very clearly labeled so not a sneaky added charge. Our room was absolutely lovely. Check in and check out was fast and easy, and the location of the hotel was perfect. Not in the noisy central part of Bendigo but only a short walk if that’s where you need to be. Being right across from the lake was perfect for an early morning walk before we left.

Great location, substantial room with lounge and desk. Very clean and in a great state of repair. Balcony access (though only one chair instead of two ) Bed very comfortable with good reception on tv with easy to use remote. Shower and bathroom a good size. Our room was on the second floor with a good size lift. we heard no noises at all through the night. There was plenty of off road parking and we were easily able to get a space under cover. The only thing that could have been a little better was to have a standard lamp over the couch for reading and my wife noticed not a lot of lighting for makeup. I would very definitely stay there again anytime

The pool was not in a great state, but other than that the staff were awesome, that goes from the reception team, the bar and restaurant group and even the morning chef that I saw. They all had very welcoming and professional personalities. The room was good, the food was excellent and I look forward to my next stay in January.

Lovely friendly staff. Large very comfortable room, with great view. In excellent position opposite Lake Weerona and walking distance into centre of Bendigo. Good access for tram (under refurbishment our week) and bus stop outside(not used) Could walk for many attractions around the town. Breakfast was very good lots of choice for fixed price. Thanks to 'all' staff for a great stay

Quiet!?! With a trains honking behind and morons revving cars along the high street at the front, this hotel cannot claim to be quiet! We had an executive room at the front with lovely views over the lake. We had some lovely walks and jogs around the lake and along the creek. There are some really nice breakfast restaurants nearby. The room was huge with a comfortable large bed and plenty of room to sit on the sofa. A decent desk too if you’re here on business. The TV is basic (not that smart!) and the small kitchenette area is well stocked (nice Ceylon tea). The bathroom is roomy but the shower weak and the TP/tissues are of cheap quality. The shower and hair products are decent though. It does seem that the management are more interested in cutting costs with limited servicing (the staff don’t wash up nor replace towels or even vacuum the carpet). The hotel charges for bottled water. We didn’t try the restaurant. Reception staff seemed friendly enough but weren’t bothered to ask if we had a nice stay when we checked out. They were concerned about that expensive bottled water though!

The hotel is pretty perfect in all respects bar one. Customer service is great, food is lovely, and the rooms(especially the new rooms) are clean and well maintained. The only thing that lets them down are the beds which are rock hard. Also none are king doubles but king singles pushed together which usually wouldn’t matter but for how hard they are.

When I rang to book, I spoke to Caitlyn, who was so good at listening and I booked two rooms. They were large spotless, very nice, quite rooms. I called to see if there were toasters and microwaves, and Cailyn said, no but I will them in the two rooms you have booked. A lovely young lady, very thoughtful and efficient. I had cause to call again and spoke to Scarlett and found her a very kind young lady, as well.

We were very warmly greeted by Hannah on arrival. Car parking was easy, location was perfect for our stay. We had dinner in the restaurant, food was lovely, and the room was large and comfortable. Having somewhere to sit outside (on the balcony) was also a plus.
