Quality Hotel Lakeside

We stayed at Quality Hotel Lakeside Bendigo as we couldn’t find accommodation for the Energy Breakthrough event in Maryborough. The hotel exceeded our expectations! The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The staff, from check-in to room service, were warm and friendly. The presentation of the room service meals was impressive. The convenient lakeside location was an added bonus. Highly recommend!

Lakeside Hotel offers a serene and picturesque retreat by the lake. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with stunning views, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the on-site restaurant was closed during our stay due to the holiday, which was a slight disappointment. However, the overall experience was still delightful, with plenty of nearby activities to enjoy.

We stayed the last 2 nights in room 101. Nice & clean room. However daily housekeeping didn’t replace all the used towels. We were significantly inconvenienced by a GP exam that commenced in the function room next to our room. When we left the hotel to go out, we were greeted on the return “keep quiet signs, exam underway”. We had to tread around on our toes trying to not make any sound. I was given a horrible look by a women in that exam room. We paid to be there why should we have been inconvenienced by this. We should have been moved to another floor or placed in another room away from the exam room. I’m absolutely horrified we were treated so badly.

Nice, clean hotel and fantastic helpful staff.|If you are a light sleeper or looking to get a good night sleep do not stay here. I stayed on level one and it was so noisy. The rooms aren’t sound proved. You can hear people walking and talking along the corridor. .|There is also a gap under the door, so the light from the corridor shines in .|At 3 AM you can hear the traffic and then the garbage bin gets emptied very early in the morning. It’s very noisy.

Comfortable large room, clean on arrival. Unfortunately, 3 days in a row, the towels were either not replaced, or were left in the bathroom as I had left it. Understanding, the environmental policy I always left the used towels on the floor. These were picked up but not replaced. When I questioned about this, the Receptionist simply gave me more towels. When I complained again, I mentioned that the towels were just left on the bathroom bench and not hung up, and she queried if this was ok. I advised that any other hotel replaces towels on the towel rack. 3rd day, towels not replaced again, and I had to pick up towels after my dinner. I think on the 4th day, I just gave up.|Cups and glasses were left unchecked and dirty, on some days. A cup was left 2 days in a row obviously it had been used with tea left in the bottom of the cup and was left untouched. |These are minor problems, but you pay for a service when staying over 5 days! Most people expect the room to look the same every day, as if they have first walked into it.

Very comfortable, all staff friendly and accommodating. 2 bedroom apartment room very clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay again,

Im a carer, My client stayed here for 6 nights so my agency booked me a room too. I worked active nightshift so I did not get the room serviced the whole stay. On the 3rd day I requested another towel, reception told me my client had used too many and if I wanted one I needed to pay for it??? So I was supplied 1 TOWEL for 6 nights. Other than that it was nice.

The Quality Hotel Lakeside was a convenient location to the sporting complex and not far from the main street. Lots of options to eat as a family. We ate at the Lakeside and had good meals. The room was bigger than expected and they were happy to bring extra towels and help when needed.
