This is a simply good hotel. The rooms are rather spacious and comfortable with everything you need for a short stay. We stayed in a family room and the kids loved the bunk bed. The biggest drawback was the lack of any climate control apart from an extremely small fan. The lack of air control made our stay in the room extremely uncomfortable due to the seasonal heat. If you consider staying here, it might be best to avoid the summer months. The breakfast was rather good. It had pretty much everything you expect from a basic hotel breakfast. Little ones will also enjoy the play room near the breakfast.

Nice location one block from beach shopping and clubs. Public parking close by. Rooms either to clubs side with noise up to 2am or the street side with car noise all times. No AC

No air condition. Room was hot like sauna and there was so much noice that could not sleep. After complaints the reception told to go to Scandic. Never go to Quality Hotel Luleå.

We recently stayed at Quality Hotel Luleå and unfortunately had a terrible experience. The hotel was undergoing loud renovations throughout our stay, with constant drilling and hammering during the day. We received no warning about this when we booked; had we known in advance, we definitely would have stayed elsewhere. It was nearly impossible to relax or enjoy the room with all the noise and disruption.||To make matters worse, the price remained the same as if everything were normal. During major renovation periods like this, the rate should be discounted, and the hotel should clearly inform guests about the ongoing work before they make a reservation. The lack of transparency left us feeling misled and disappointed. We will think twice before returning or recommending this hotel to others.

We enjoyed our stay a lot. Location was perfect for the activities we signed up for in Luleå (Winter Lindy Hop Weekend with Heedman's ). And the famous ice track is just 5 min walk from the place. Parks, shops and cafes in very close proximity. Comfortable bed, bath tab, excellent choice of food for breakfast. We got everything we needed here. Definetly recomend this place!

The rooms are clean and quiet. Lots of instant coffee in the room which was very welcomed. The kettle to make hot water was slow but it did the job just fine. The heater was not super hot but compared to outside it was totally fine. Breakfast buffet was good. Had a lot of options. Different types of breads to try as well. Overall ate far too much. There is a garage so if you are driving make sure to ask for it. The bar has a very limited food and drinks menu but hits the spot specifically when it's heavily snowing outside.

We stopped in Lulea to visit Jokkmokk and Cape Wild. The lady at the reception was very helpful. We were able to check in early, received recommendations for nearby attractions and enjoyed a good breakfast. We loved our short stay there as the team at the hotel were very kind and the breakfast was good. It makes a huge difference when you feel welcomed after a long and tiring journey through Sweden! They serve breakfast at 7.30am but as we left super early the next morning, they even packed a breakfast to take away. Much appreciated!

Yelp
Let's start with the bad, and why I gave him five stars. First of all the TP is like sandpaper. Then, the shower is tiny and there is a big open space where in the bathroom floor gets wet. Swinging door is partial and these huge space open. Also, the room is very small. So why did I give him 5 stars! I'm glad you asked. Breakfast is majestic, yes Majestic. The room is very quiet, you sleeping piece. The mattress is more comfortable than my own mattress. Most importantly, the customer service is excellent, and everybody is always smiling

Yelp
This isn't a review of the hotel per say, but on their lunch service. I was in Luleå for three days for a mandatory course in insurance medicine (yeah, I know, no fun at all), but being served a quality lunch, and enjoying the company of fellow colleagues that I see far to seldom these days is a welcomed change. I guess one out of two isn't that bad when I summarize it all. So yes, the colleagues were all there, but quality of food was nowhere to be found. Had a total of three lunches and not one of them impressed me even the slightest. The salads were quite dull, with some really weird combinations. I'd daresay that green olives with artichokes should never be put in the same salad bowl, those flavors have no chance of going together. Then just the standardized boring lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber etc. One lunch they served cod in egg sauce. I don't mind egg sauce, if done right it can be really tasty, but here the eggs were dry and overcooked along with a complete lack of spices (primarily salt). The cod itself was swimming around in the egg sauce, but surprisingly almost undercooked than over. Also, complete lack of seasoning and salt, resulting in literarily no taste of fish. Another day the lunch was advertised as roasted pork loin with roasted baby potatoes and jus, sounded nice, but for some reason we were served a beef stroganoff that had about the same texture as chewing on a piece of rubber band. And no roasted potatoes either, just dry rice. Sadly, none of the dishes served were even up to an acceptable standard even though the hotel dining room is very modern, contemporary and nice - suggesting an entirely different level of quality than the one presented. Frankly, if this is what paying hotel customers, or in this case course/congress participants are served on a daily basis - change location, it really is just that bad.
