Quality Hotel Mildura Grand

Second stay at Quality Hotel Mildura Grand and overall a great experience. Our first stay was in a Queen room in the older part of the building, which was fairly average. This time we stayed in a renovated King room near the pool and it was a completely different experience — modern, clean, comfortable, and very nice. The reception and main areas of the hotel are beautifully done and give a great first impression. Staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The location is excellent — an easy short walk to restaurants and takeaway options, shops, and the Murray River, which made getting around really convenient. Parking was fine during our stay, although it isn’t secure. Overall, we’d definitely recommend choosing a renovated room and would happily stay again.

Highly Recommended!! been a great experience. Ended ‘25 well fed and relaxed thanks to the staff and the hospitality they offered. Stayed there over Christmas and the rooms were clean and well stocked. The food was consistently amazing. Very knowledgeable on everything they were offering from the bar to the in-house restaurant. Thank you Chef Jay Perera, Randhir, Chethiya, Nadun & Akesh for making it so. Good job 👍🍻

We had stayed here some years ago and fondly remembered the hotel. Our recent stay was a disappointment. While we knew the hotel was a bit of a rabbit warren, on checkin reception gave us no directions and, having searched for some time, we had to return to ask.|Our superior room with balcony was anything but superior.|The balcony was totally glassed in, and the glass was very dirty. A large weed was sprouting from the window ledge outside. The balcony furniture was two old chairs. I had been looking forward to reading on the balcony, but it could not have been less inviting.|The internal bathroom was small and shabby and lit by a cold blue light more appropriate in a public toilet.|At least the bed was comfortable.

Room was clean, bed was comfy, and the shower had good pressure. The rooms passed through a bit of noise though which was unfortunate but wasn't too bad. Great location near nice cafes and restaurants. Opposite a scenic walking track which was nice to go out to in the morning.

IF I COULD RATE A ZERO I WOULD. This Hotel I would not recommend under any circumstances. We have travelled from Sydney, Hervey Bay and on to Adelaide.... accommodation on the road has been a must. Regardless of its location. This hotel was a nightmare... 1.No Hot Water in bathroom/shower. So we were unable to have shower. 2. Cracked handbasin in bathroom 3. Cheap thin towels 4. Pillows that were thin and hard 5. Sat on couch and ended up nearly sitting on floor as it was so old and worn. 6. Rabbit Warren of corridors just to find room. 7. External offsite car park that has a sign that states park at own risk! ( distance from car park to room was a very log way, wouldn't want to be carrying a lot of luggage) 8. TV old and outdated. 9. Fridge small and has a funnlĺy smell, not game enough to use the supplied milk capsules. 10. Room was stuffy and there was no external window that could be opened. There was a windows but it didn't open, looked to be an internal window. 11. Carpets were old,outdated and tired. Floor was uneven. This Hotel is very outdated and in desperate need of renovation, restoration. Don't be fooled by reception which is lovely and fresh. As it's a different story behind the closed doors. The location was walking distance to town eateries.

Easily the worst place I’ve ever stayed at. I walked out sneezing. The carpet was torn and filthy, the bathroom had footprints on the floor and there was mould around the shower rim. The hallway was dirty and smelled terrible. The air conditioner was as loud as a car engine, and I didn’t sleep at all because I didn’t trust the bedding. The only reason I stayed was because I arrived in Mildura late at night.

Wonderful hospitality and great dining at the Grand Mildura Hotel. The restaurants are excellent, and a special thanks to the Chef Jay Perera for an amazing experience. Big thank you to Nadun, Randhir, Chethiya, and Akesh for their outstanding service. Highly recommended.

We stayed in a family room which was averagely comfortable with clean bathrooms & bedding etc & had the necessary coffee making facility, iron, extra bedding etc, however the room did not feel cosy. Room felt a bit dated, shower door did not close fully. Was okay for a one nighter. Also found the passage floor quite uneven in some areas. This is a tripping hazard, especially so close to the stairway. The location of the hotel was great though.

Great location. Close to river ,restaurants ,bars and shops. Room was clean and a good size.

I wanted something nice to take my wife for her birthday for a break from our caravanning. I called the Grand and was prepared to book their best room at $365 a night. It came with a bar which we didn't want so I took the next best at $265. I would have preferred our caravan. The room was dull dowdy and most depressing in appearance. The building was old but that is no excuse for the room to look unwelcoming. On top of that, there was no way to lock off the access from the balcony which was open to other rooms. We spent the night with a wedge under the bedroom door hoping it would be a deterrant. Most unsettling. We mentioned this at the desk when departing. There was no offer of compensation. We are glad that night is over.

A very quaint hotel in the middle of Mildura! The hotel is located within a historic building which has been very well maintained. We arrived late in the evening but that wasn't an issue as the hotel offered 24 hour maned access. There was plenty of parking, however it is important to note that it is only 15 min parking right out the front of the hotel - but just drive around the corner for all night parking. The receptionist was very friendly and efficient. She provided us with great ideas for breakfast places and gave us a carton of milk for coffee / tea. I would suggest taking the stairs as the lift is as old as the building - it can only (just) for 2 people and takes a long time to get to each floor! There is only 2 levels so walking up the stairs is manageable! We received a free room upgrade and also free complimentary drinks! The room is very much a home away from home, offering apartment style comfort and facilities! This has been a great start to our weekend away!

Lovely rooms, good beds, brilliant pool, stunning breakfast. This is the perfect place for a family or romantic get away.
