Great location. A walk around the lake across the road is a good way to unwind after a long drive. Excellent staff from reception to restaurant- friendly and efficient. The cheeseboard for 2 is superb and deserves 5 stars! 3 delicious French cheeses, strawberries, sliced fruit, nuts and crackers. As the restaurant operates as a cafe as well there is no need to drive elsewhere for a coffee. The room was well designed, spacious and well insulated from noise. Highly recommend.

Nice rooms. I booked this solely on the fact they had room service and EV car charging. I didn’t get either- the room service wasn’t available the night I stayed, that meant leaving the hotel for food whilst cold and exhausted from travelling all day. Then accidentally locked myself out due to said exhaustion on return from getting the food, and it took them 30 mins to come let me into my room whilst we stood outside in the freezing cold waiting. Food now cold. It was 8pm. Not late- but no staff around whatsoever to assist. Took two phone calls for somebody to show up. The EV charger was a bring your own adapter cable type that not many EV drivers have- why they don’t provide a simple everyday power plug for those who don’t have the extra adapter cable is baffling to me. That would at least give us a top up. Not worth the price, for over $200 a room I kinda expect better services.

Just want to bring this to management. We had a horrible experience at check in with Lauren the receptionist last night and what a shame. The location is lovely and the photos made it seem so nice but it stop there. Having beautiful pictures like many others said in the reviews does not make up for the down right rude and unprofessional staff. Almost no customer service and absolute lack of common courtesy. The receptionists Lauren on 26 July at 5.45pm spoken to me in such a condescending, disrespectful manner. I got drop off in front of reception that what people do when arriving at hotel. Not even step inside she yelling in such rude and disrespectful manner “move your car, move your car, move your car!!!!”! I explained my husband just dropping me off my kids are in the car. It’s really unnecessary. I have hurt my ankle a few day earlier and I asked nicely if any chance she have room drown stair available again yelling at me you should have call & NO WE DON’T ! Next I ask for directions to the room by lift just respond with annoying voice behind reception upstairs on the opposite building. Ask if she have the map she said NO and not even try to help. So I went next door and ask a bar staff who thankfully friendly and happy to point me to the right direction. When Lauren the receptionist saw that she try to stop him!! I get into argument with Lauren as she couldn’t be more unprofessional and such terrible person and personalities for the job. If she was helpful I wouldn’t have to asked bar staff!! I have to apologise to the young bar staff this is really unacceptable. We paid $240+ a night to be treat like this!! For god sake you should not be in customer service Lauren!! What a disgraceful experience of the hotel and first time in Shepparton. The entrance design could have been designed better with visitors car park for check-in guests next to the reception. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff at receptionist “Lauren” who clearly should not work in customer service roles . I will be making sure to tell as many people on as many review websites to make sure no one else’s weekend away is ruined like ours was.

Stayed here on business and was very comfortable. The room was cosy with a sleek & modern vibe. The bed was also extremely comfortable and resulted in a great night's sleep. It's also definitely worth eating here; dinner and breakfast was delicious, the steak with mushroom sauce was outstanding. The hotel itself is located in a great spot in front of the lake and only a 10 minute walk to the main shopping strip. Would absolutely stay here again.

A good place to stay, rooms are comfortable, heaps of parking, great pools. Reception ladies were mostly friendly although I think a couple of them were having a bad day. Restaurant was abit expensive so dont know what that is like.A relaxing park over the road with a pleasant walk around the lake.

No one was at the reception. I waited at the reception for over 10 minutes. Then I pressed the bell. Still no one attended. I waited for a short while a press the bell again. Then the receptionist came in from outside. She was angry and told me rudely, " YOU ONLY NEED TO PRESS THE BELL ONCE." I asked her name, She said in a patronising tone, "Lauren", as if she was challenging me. I apologised anyway. What a disdainful attitude! The hotel needs proper staff training.

Situated close to town, plenty within walking distance. Polite courteous staff keen to ensure you are looked after. Decent sized rooms, well appointed. Good restaraunt on site if you don't feel like going out.

Decent motel - indoor pool/sauna are a winner. Could do with double glazed windows to drown out Shep’s finest drag racing up the main strip, then yelling at each other in the middle of the night though.

Yelp
No food, no service, no staff. Arrived at this hotel around 5.30pm and used the keysafe to receive my room access card. Room appears clean and functional, but nothing special. Road noise is noticeable. Decided to order room service ... ploughed through the hotel information/room service booklet and no where is there a number to call for room service. The Reception, Restaurant and Room Service buttons on the phone all result in an engaged signal. Not a good start. So I called the public number for the hotel using my mobile and, after a wait of several minutes, was advised "Sorry, we're just an answering service. No one is available". So what do I do for dinner? "Sorry, due to Corona Virus everything is closed". Ok... guess I'll make other arrangements. Then turned my mind to breakfast. The information booklet says "refer to the Breakfast In Your Room" order form... but, of course, there's no order form, and the restaurant is closed. Ok... guess I'll make other arrangements. The next time I come to Shepp? Guess I'll make other arrangements, and so should you. Oh, check out the photos... this place could only be less welcoming if they somehow organised for it to be windy and raining. EDIT: And one more thing. On the bedside table I see the notice - due to renovations, there will be construction noise from 7am. Sure enough, minutes after 7, the hammering and machine noise begins. Construction noise is unavoidable sometimes, but a well run hotel would (a) put guests in rooms away from the noise, and (b) disclose the construction noise issue at time of booking. But this place is not well run. Photos (1) Deserted entrance at 5.30pm (2) Car Park... think I saw it once on Law and Order SVU (donk donk) (3) Noise warning... only once you check in (4) Construction noise from 7am (5) Bird crap at the entrance... classy... and entirely indicative of inattentive management

Yelp
A good hotel if visiting Shepparton, rooms are clean, beds a little small, pillows too small and soft, service is good. Renovated rooms are modern and great bathrooms. Opposite lake for walks and a good wine list at the bar. Buffet breakfast is worth missing, just order a menu item as buffeet items were generally cold in warmers. Good coffee, great deserts in evening. New pool and spa looks great.

Yelp
Expect to wait half an hour for a coffee, ignored by staff and laughed at if you god forbid spill your coffee when the table is unstable.
