Quality Hotel Parklake Shepparton

Stayed here on business and was very comfortable. The room was cosy with a sleek & modern vibe. The bed was also extremely comfortable and resulted in a great night's sleep. It's also definitely worth eating here; dinner and breakfast was delicious, the steak with mushroom sauce was outstanding. The hotel itself is located in a great spot in front of the lake and only a 10 minute walk to the main shopping strip. Would absolutely stay here again.

Stunning Hotel with Great Staff, Perfect stay. We were kindly upgraded to a suite Extremely spacious and very well appointed room. Very clean and well maintained. Comfy beds good a/c comfy couch, very nice bathoom Great restaurant food excellent. Everything top notch - a Must Visit. TV locked to Foxtel with no access to Netflix or ability to connect mobile devices.

Spacious rooms with heaps of beds. Tidy and clean. Reception friendly. Other guests are noisy and lack manners. Must be the car show pax. Lovely park, play and pool facilities across the road. Careful of homeless people living in the bush behind the park and pool area, so don’t leave kids unattended.

We were upgraded to a king bed room which was super comfy, the bathroom was clean. We used the pool and spa which was clean but the tiles inside the pool were a bit slippery, just be mindful. A++ for value for money

I have sadly had to stay here several times due to business. Whilst the food and accommodation are fine, I dread eating at the restaurant, the servie is shocking, again I have stayed here repeatedly. You wil get seated by staff and then ignored. Whilst the manager leans up agains the wall whilst the staff, clearly not training for the most part in hospitality run around. Only one waiter there who is constantly apologising for the lack of cohesion in this restaurant. The dining room opens at 7am. People are lining up to get in with only one staff member to deal with it all. THis is totally unsuitable for business people who may need to travel a distance to one of the near towns. I had to get a coffee from a cafe on the run as could not wait for a coffee. Never ceases to fail here. Management have no idea. Try the Gateway in Wangarratta its worth the drive. Same price acommodation. Food and service tops... Never fails.

This is an easy place to stay in Shepparton, it has parking, an onsite bar and dining. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I had a shower over bath and you need to be agile for this but otherwise good. The tomato relish with the breakfast brucetta is delicious.

As an ex hospo worker, I just want to give an appreciation to the staff who put in the long hours. I just witnessed the fella that served me for breakfast on Saturday 21st Dec, finished his shift at 10.15pm the same night. Brings me back to the long hours and reality of what hospitality really is. So thank you to all of your staff - FOH and BOH.

The tour group we were travelling with booked us in here and we were delighted with the staff, accommodation and decore. Everything we needed was available.|We were fortunate to have a lovely room overlooking the lake, and despite there being a busy road outside, the unit was surprisingly quiet.|The buffet breakfasts each morning were everything one would expect.|If ever we return to Shepparton, this is where we will be staying.

No food, no service, no staff. Arrived at this hotel around 5.30pm and used the keysafe to receive my room access card. Room appears clean and functional, but nothing special. Road noise is noticeable. Decided to order room service ... ploughed through the hotel information/room service booklet and no where is there a number to call for room service. The Reception, Restaurant and Room Service buttons on the phone all result in an engaged signal. Not a good start. So I called the public number for the hotel using my mobile and, after a wait of several minutes, was advised "Sorry, we're just an answering service. No one is available". So what do I do for dinner? "Sorry, due to Corona Virus everything is closed". Ok... guess I'll make other arrangements. Then turned my mind to breakfast. The information booklet says "refer to the Breakfast In Your Room" order form... but, of course, there's no order form, and the restaurant is closed. Ok... guess I'll make other arrangements. The next time I come to Shepp? Guess I'll make other arrangements, and so should you. Oh, check out the photos... this place could only be less welcoming if they somehow organised for it to be windy and raining. EDIT: And one more thing. On the bedside table I see the notice - due to renovations, there will be construction noise from 7am. Sure enough, minutes after 7, the hammering and machine noise begins. Construction noise is unavoidable sometimes, but a well run hotel would (a) put guests in rooms away from the noise, and (b) disclose the construction noise issue at time of booking. But this place is not well run. A good hotel if visiting Shepparton, rooms are clean, beds a little small, pillows too small and soft, service is good. Renovated rooms are modern and great bathrooms. Opposite lake for walks and a good wine list at the bar. Buffet breakfast is worth missing, just order a menu item as buffeet items were generally cold in warmers. Good coffee, great deserts in evening. New pool and spa looks great.

Expect to wait half an hour for a coffee, ignored by staff and laughed at if you god forbid spill your coffee when the table is unstable.

Fantastic food! Had a lovely dinner and desert :) ! The waiters were polite and friendly. Had great service and the food was perfect, will have to go here again soon! So many plates to choose from, great quality and quantity
