Quality Hotel Parklake Shepparton

It was our first time staying in this hotel & had an overall good experience. The check in & check out process was very quick & efficient. The most important for us is that the room & bed is clean- which it was! Location was also very close to central strip & across a beautiful park with playground for kids. Hotel also had a pool. The only unpleasant things we experienced were- We stayed in room C41 & in the middle of the night, the sink made a loud gurgling sound, which continued intermittently after every few hours. At first we thought it was something outside the room (as the walls were also very thin) but it turned out to be our bathroom! The view from the window is beautiful- it faces the park across the street, however perhaps due to it being a long weekend, after midnight, there were many cars hooning down the main strip, as well as people chattering loudly- which you can hear very loud from the room. And around 5AM in the morning (because I already had a restless night) there is a bird in the tree right outside our window that was chirping non-stop for an hour lol. This is NOT fault of hotel, but consider these factors if booking next time & opt for a different room perhaps (away from tree & away from main road lol). The only other tangible feedback I'd like to give- Pool area was a hit with the kids, however there were not enough sunbeds (only about 4-5 i think?) I hope you can add more if possible. Otherwise, we are happy with our stay.

loved it - very nice hotel. Good beds and pillows. Lovely food. Nice service. I would recommend having a second floor room though as it was quite noisy from other guests at 9.30pm at night (early to bed due to aquathalon in morning!). But great stay.

The tv didn't work at first but they fixed it, and I couldn't call reception from the room phone as it didnt work. On initial check-in, the girls were very friendly, but the man was very terse and told me there was a $200 security deposit which I get back on checkout, but we were not EVER informed of this beforehand. On checkout when asked for the deposit back, we were told not until rooms cleaned at least after 10am, which again was not mentioned to us prior.. In fairness our waitress in the restaurant Danielle was exceptional and deserves an award for her customer service. Can't fault her and hoped IF we come back again, she is our waitress.

I’ve stayed before and it’s a nice place to stay. Everyone I’ve had interactions with in my stays there have been very good. I think Lauren has been really good to deal with both times I’ve seen her. Seems a fun personality with her interactions with both myself and other people while I’ve been waiting for my turn to check in.

Amazing place to stay! Location is perfect being so close to the centre of town. The amenities are great, with the gym, sauna and spa kept in immaculate condition. The reception staff are fantastic! They are so friendly and helpful, and are willing to accommodate anything you need whilst making you feel at home. Would definitely come back after staying for 2 weeks!

Everything was good, staff friendly, helpful and polite. But one of us is predominately vegetarian. Rice and pasta , especially pasta are not a good offering as little or no food value. However the warmed greens and Italian coleslaw side dishes were very enjoyable. Might have been nice to have connected and turned on side lights, a lot of accommodations do that. Some even turn on the air conditioning and TV. The side lamps were a bit of a bother as we had to crawl around on the floor to plug in before being able to turn on.

Could not have been happier. Friendly and professional reception staff; made me feel like l was valued with my assistance dog and made sure l knew we were welcome and not just 'tolerated'. Restaurant and food were an added bonus; butit was the staff (not only, but particularly) reception. Will be my 'go to' when next in town.

Great rooms. Stayed 2 days. Shame coffee cups not replaced with clean ones during the day, but great service still. Well situated. A few steps away from both the centre of town and a great park for walks or a run. Parking place inside the compound may be a bit difficult at times. If you have an ev, there are 4 spots with charging capacities. Shame non ev vehicles use them too.

No food, no service, no staff. Arrived at this hotel around 5.30pm and used the keysafe to receive my room access card. Room appears clean and functional, but nothing special. Road noise is noticeable. Decided to order room service ... ploughed through the hotel information/room service booklet and no where is there a number to call for room service. The Reception, Restaurant and Room Service buttons on the phone all result in an engaged signal. Not a good start. So I called the public number for the hotel using my mobile and, after a wait of several minutes, was advised "Sorry, we're just an answering service. No one is available". So what do I do for dinner? "Sorry, due to Corona Virus everything is closed". Ok... guess I'll make other arrangements. Then turned my mind to breakfast. The information booklet says "refer to the Breakfast In Your Room" order form... but, of course, there's no order form, and the restaurant is closed. Ok... guess I'll make other arrangements. The next time I come to Shepp? Guess I'll make other arrangements, and so should you. Oh, check out the photos... this place could only be less welcoming if they somehow organised for it to be windy and raining. EDIT: And one more thing. On the bedside table I see the notice - due to renovations, there will be construction noise from 7am. Sure enough, minutes after 7, the hammering and machine noise begins. Construction noise is unavoidable sometimes, but a well run hotel would (a) put guests in rooms away from the noise, and (b) disclose the construction noise issue at time of booking. But this place is not well run. Photos (1) Deserted entrance at 5.30pm (2) Car Park... think I saw it once on Law and Order SVU (donk donk) (3) Noise warning... only once you check in (4) Construction noise from 7am (5) Bird crap at the entrance... classy... and entirely indicative of inattentive management

A good hotel if visiting Shepparton, rooms are clean, beds a little small, pillows too small and soft, service is good. Renovated rooms are modern and great bathrooms. Opposite lake for walks and a good wine list at the bar. Buffet breakfast is worth missing, just order a menu item as buffeet items were generally cold in warmers. Good coffee, great deserts in evening. New pool and spa looks great.

Expect to wait half an hour for a coffee, ignored by staff and laughed at if you god forbid spill your coffee when the table is unstable.

Fantastic food! Had a lovely dinner and desert :) ! The waiters were polite and friendly. Had great service and the food was perfect, will have to go here again soon! So many plates to choose from, great quality and quantity
