This hotel is part of a standard chain so you can be fairly sure what to expect. I booked a superior room and asked for a quiet one. Room perfectly nice with a big smart bathroom & it was distant from other rooms in the modern wing BUT there is a really busy road outside and we were close. Perhaps it’s not feasible to have a superior room away from the road? Beware if you are a light sleeper. |There was a good buffet breakfast on offer though as the hotel was busy it was a bit hectic. There are 2restaurants to choose from & the Italian LaPergola was very good. See separate review. |The reception staff were amiable.|A few omissions for the price: No tissues, no shower mat to stand on outside shower, no facility to make hot drinks in the room. Yes very nice to have free hot & soft drinks in the seating area downstairs, but a bit of a trek down 4 floors to get one. Couldn’t fill my hot water bottle for my back pain too. Would a small fridge to put our water in be too much to ask? |These small things would have massively improved our stay.|Would I stay again? Probably not as such a noisy area and hectic with so many guests.

Stayed a single night and didn't have any issues. Beds were comfortable, wasn't loud. Most of the things nearby are walkable. Parking was a little expensive though but expected for norway at this point. Breakfast was also pretty standard.

A convenient close to airport stopover. Breakfast was standard but felt like it had been there awhile. Room was clean and well stocked with fridge, coffee and tea facilities and toiletries. The shower over the bath would be challenging for anyone with mobility issues and small children.

Very nice, modern hotel. The meal service stood out. Great choices for both dinner and breakfast in a nicely appointed dining room. The room was good, with enough outlets to charge our devices. The bathroom was small with little counter space.

Decent stay with helpful staff Our stay at the hotel was overall okay. The breakfast was fine—not outstanding, but it had a decent selection to start the day. When we first arrived, the room we were given was extremely small for three people, which made it a bit uncomfortable at first. Fortunately, Kristine at the front desk was incredibly kind and helpful. Thanks to her support, we were able to move to a more suitable room that made our stay much more pleasant. I really want to thank her for going the extra mile—her professionalism made a big difference. While not everything was perfect, the staff’s willingness to help definitely left a positive impression. Note: The Parking lot is not free so you have to pay extra for it

We had a lovely two night stayed in Quality Hotel in Sogndal! The location is really good, it’s about 3min walk from the bus/coach station and 7min walk to a port! The lady at the reception was really nice! we asked her a few questions and she even looked up for answers for us The room we stayed in is really clean! 👍🏻 However I would say it’s just a really basic room, there is towels but no floor mat; and there isn’t a kettle as well which is quite inconvenient. Breakfast is from 6-10, and there are coffee machine at the lobby 24/7! For someone who enjoys coffee a lot this is super good 😊 (but i will need to say there is so many flys around the coffee area, it’s made the experience not as good.) Also there are a massive group of loud people on our second day’s breakfast, the queuing for the food took so long and a lot of the selection of food were finished or not there even it’s only around 6:10 :((

Personally, I had a bad night sleep in room 225 because my window opened to a rooftop, and all night, I could hear noise from ventilation or whatever the noises were. I'm sure the hotels other rooms are quieter. The buffet was overpriced considering the quality.

Great front desk staff. Asked for directions to the ferry terminal and he went above and beyond, noting that it leaves very early and offering to order us a breakfast to go. Super convenient to have restaurants attached to the building. We went for the Italian one and were not disappointed. Beds weren’t great - a springs creaking and the kind was two singles put together. Main complaint is the showers. My husband is very coordinated and he almost fell getting into the shower due to the high and curved sides of the tub. I was super careful myself and held onto the towel warmer to be safe and I almost fell too. Also, the design of the shower means that water goes EVERYWHERE when you shower. They really need shower curtains or real doors to prevent the floor from becoming a hazard.
