Quality Hotel Wangaratta Gateway

A Quality hotel indeed! This joint is a really lovely, clean and modern hotel. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were a pleasant bonus. The bar and restaurant was excellent with a good selection of food served to a very high standard. I would certainly recommend the scotch cut Angus steak which was extremely tasty, tender and accompanied by a divine beetroot puree.

I would highly recommend this hotel as your must stay if you’re in the Wangaratta region. The town house accommodation was delightful and well appointed, beds are comfortable and the living space generous. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, particularly people that have mobility issues. And, the restaurant cuisine is Five Star! You will not be disappointed!

Our first visit and not our last. We stayed overnight at this amazing accommodation. The room was luxury and very impressive. We had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious. We then had breakfast the next morning and again fantastic. Reception was welcoming and helpful. The restaurant staff were very professional and attentive. We plan on returning again for another relaxing and enjoyable break. Thanks to everyone that made our stay so memorable.

First time staying at the hotel, and you're welcomed with genuine hospitality. The rooms are modern, spotless, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need. Plush bedding and blackout curtains, The hotel facilities are a real bonus, and the bar and dining facility a total hit. Whether you are passing through, attending an event, or exploring this is a great choice.

Wow what a great place to stay. GREAT CHECK IN. Clean comfortable room with great staff. Left an item in the room and the honest staff contacted me a couple hours later. Wow how nice. Try the restaurant as well Superb. 5 star all round

From Melbourne. We had a wonderful stay here. Event was a wedding in march 2025. The hotel was an excellent choice that we made for the event as all our guests enjoyed with comfort and the hospitality which was led by the wonderful staff and service given to us during our stay. The reception— All staff helped all our guests in friendly manner with a warm welcome from Heather . Jane went out of the way to call me and inform everything regarding the rooms etc.That was very special and so lovely 😻. Thank you The house keeping— The cleaning was excellent and very professional which I admire very well. Thank you 🙏 The kitchen/Restaurant/ Banquet staff— Very helpful and was excellent and very efficient the way they worked and specially Merril and the Restaurant manager for the wedding night ( I forgot to get the name) worked very hard to make our function the best. The food was delicious and well presented with high quality.👍 We are very happy and will recommend to anyone to enjoy the the same in future events. Had a fantastic overnight stay at this hotel can highly recommend. The staff were wonderful and very helpful, excellent restaurant can highly recommend the steak. Rooms modern and stylish. The little touches of ringing your room to let you know room service is on its way to having your car windscreen cleaner for your next day travels were fantastic. As a former resident of Wangaratta in the mid-70s, this trip was a heartfelt journey down memory lane—filled with nostalgia and warmth. Sharing it with my fiancée, Tanya, made it all the more special. The Gateway Hotel played a beautiful part in this experience, with its exceptional restaurant service that not only met but exceeded expectations. It truly rekindled unforgettable memories and created new ones that we will cherish forever.

Beautiful and Spacious rooms. Clean, well appointed and quiet! I run a motorcycle tour that stops here and while I used to use another "character" hotel in this town, I had too many inconsistent encounters with the staff to keep it. We switched to Quality Hotel Wangaratta Gateway and I love the helpful staff and efficiency of doing business with them. This year, due to an injury on my part, the staff picked-up and did all the distribution of luggage for all of my clients. Everyone loved it and we also had such a fun time at the restaurant and bar that we closed it down. Thank you everyone! We will see you next year!

We arrived and check in was a breeze. Staff were friendly and polite. We drove our car into the parking garage and parking was well spaced and plentiful. When was got to the rooms there was a lovely pool centre stage with the rooms surrounding it. Our room was clean, beds comfortable and ample room for my wife and two children. If (when) we pass back through Wangaratta we will certainly stay at the Quality HotelWangaratta gateway again.
