Yelp
This hotel was amazing. I was just trying to find a hotel outside of Disney Springs, so we could relax after a busy day. This place was SO close to Disney Springs. Maybe 5-8 minutes with traffic.
The check-in was super fast and easy. We did have to get a parking permit, which was free. But had to go to a different counter to get it. That's okay by me.
The elevator up was nice. We got to our room and have officially found our permanent Disney hotel.
We were in a king-sized bedroom suite.
The kitchen had an island of sorts, with spots for 4 people to sit. It came complete with a refrigerator, microwave, two stove-burners, toaster, coffee makers (and coffee), dishwasher, and sink. There are also plates, cups, bowls, silverware, corkscrew, and can opener, pots, knives, spatulas, cutting board and washcloth. There is soap for the dishwasher as well.
There were 2 TVs. One in the main area, and the other in the bedroom. Two separate remotes.
The king-size bed was VERY nice. So comfortable. When we went to lay down, I then realized I had left our pillows at home. The pillows here were not a disappointment. So squishy!!!
This room was also very bright. I HATE dingy hotels, and this was the complete opposite. Lots of lights and color.
The bathroom was, well, a bathroom. Nothing to amazing here. Lots of towels and washcloths, soap, shampoo and conditioner.
I didn't see much for wear and tear, or anything that needed cleaning.
We had free wifi, too. With a code provided.
We parked to the side of the building, under neath a light post, and realized our room overlooked our truck!
For being outside of Disney, it was so quiet. No loud noises, or children to be heard. I know they were there, because breakfast they were present.
The hotel staff was SO nice. Very attentive and helpful.
Breakfast... was.. amazing. There was so much to have! It was buffet style.
Here's a small list of things:
Mickey waffles (1 big, or 4 small, you make yourself. Very easy, even the kids were doing it.), cereal with milk, yogurt, fruit, toast, pastries, muffins, crispy potatoes, pork sausage, scrambled eggs, and so much more! There was hot water in two sections for tea, plus coffee and juice. salt, pepper, butter, peanut butter, jam, and cream were also present. It was a very nice and open area for breakfast. 630am-9am. Perfect time to eat before heading to the park. For free breakfast, it was spectacular.
There was a man in the lobby, who helps with tickets and although I wasn't buying a ticket, I was listening to him help another guest. He was very helpful and knew the answer to every question she had! Even offered to help her with her fast pass in the morning. Check out was a breeze. We also were not bothered by any of the maids. Some hotels we've stayed at, they loved to come clean when we are at breakfast. So frustrating. This one did not do that. I did not use the pool, or on site laundry room.
Also, random, but there was a few arcade cabinets inside the ice vending room. Really enjoyed this place. Wish I could give it a higher rating!
