Quality Inn O'Connell

The hotel is awesome. We loved the fact that the check in process was so easy. We like the fact that it’s with a code to check in so no stress about losing hotel cards or keys. The carpark was so close to the elevator which was awesome. The room has everything you need and we loved the large shower. ||The bed was super super comfy. And hooray a Hotel that leaves you plenty of towels. The staff are super friendly and the cleaning ladies were too. We loved that we were so close to the city and that we also could leave the car at the Hotel and stroll up O’Connell street for a bite to eat with many restaurants and cafes. We will definitely be back.

Our room was clean and had everything we needed. The bed was super comfy and the level of cleanliness was absolutely outstanding. ||Especially I would love to thank Paul! We had a long drive from Sydney to Adelaide, we only came for a few hours to get some rest before heading back. Paul was so understanding, professional, he went beyond and above to meet our requests, he demonstrated superb customer service skills. An absolute asset to the company! ||Thank you so much for our amazing experience, I will not hesitate to stay here again. Moreover, I will definitely recommend the place to all of my friends.

Stayed on a Saturday night after booking online with Booking.com. Easy drive from country SA. Nice parking space behind building. Received a text Msg at 2pm with code to enter the premises (due to Covid, no staff on premises). Few minutes later another Txt with instructions how to get to my allocated room with another code to enter. Room was large, clean and has windows that open to a closed courtyard, with block out curtains. Able to adjust air conditioning. Perfect soft queen bed, a few side tables, fridge, kettle, etc. Clear reception from TV. Clean bathroom with large walk in shower. Great night sleep, as no noise from street or other guests. Bus stop across the road to get into town. Coffee shops and restaurants all in walking distance. Taxi ride back from East Tce costs $15 on the Sunday. Will certainly stay here again when in Adelaide.

Large comfortable rooms, newly renovated bathrooms. Excellent beds. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Close to lots of great restaurants and pubs. Free city bus is a 5 min walk. Nice and quiet location yet close to the city. If you want a very comfortable place with great staff at rates that are very reasonable stay here. When we come back we certainly will be

I loved staying here - it was clean, nicely decorated , quiet and very convenient . The codes were easy to follow to get in and find our room - without needing directions from a front of house person. Great location for breakfast right in North Adelaide.

Had a great stay was given a inside courtyard room which was great because there was no street noise, beautifully renovated bathrooms with great water pressure from the rain shower Head. Very comfortable new king coil bed excellent service from the reception team and nicely located short distance to supermarket and some great restaurants, Indian, Thai, Italian and more, will definitely stay again.

Lovely comfortable bed. Large clean modern room. Bathroom and shower are large and modern. The Latest security pin code entry to building and room. Divine breakfast coffee. And reception was full of information on the area.

Pin codes are issued via text with detailed description of where to find your room so no problem arriving after hours. Also means no issues with magnetic cards losing your access (or losing the card itself). Location is fab, the room was nice and presented value for money. I will choose choose stay there again.

19/2/2008 3 photos Yes. The rooms do look very poshy but there's a lot of old-fashioned wooden brown all over the place...I mean, I've never seen such a bad colour choice for hotel. And yes, the hotel definitely looks old, as its title and appearance suggests. But...man...this is really old school. This is one of the hotels in Adelaide you can go to for weddings, honeymoon, dinner, conferences, functions, and even special occasions for the family. Despite the old-fashioned appearance, I bet it is probably quite renowned and popular amongst the Adelaide locals, as well as out-of-town travellers visiting for the first time. Ideal for socialising with friends, celebrities, business, or pleasure! *winks*. And their Snooty Fox Restaurant is widely acclaimed locally and internationally for its fine food and service, extraordinary setting and wonderful staff! As the receptionist told me before I left, "this hotel has everything and anything!"
