Quality Inn Wickenburg

Misleading, outdated, and unacceptable — I didn’t lie, this was our experience.||Upon arrival, it was immediately clear something was off. The parking lot had no space for a large U-Haul (something many road travelers depend on) and—more concerning—there were no visible handicap-accessible parking spots. That alone was a red flag, but it was late, and we had no choice but to stay the night.||Walking into the hotel felt like stepping back into the early 1970s—but not in a nostalgic or retro way. The lobby was dirty and cluttered (see photos). While the staff at the front desk were polite, the overall condition of the reception area was unkempt and unprofessional. That should have been our warning sign.||We requested a rollaway bed, and while they did provide one, no one mentioned it wouldn’t fit in the room. It was too large to place safely, making an already cramped space even more uncomfortable. The room itself had outdated furniture, stained carpeting, and an overall musty feel, reminiscent of the '70s.||The next morning, things got worse. I went down expecting the basic "free breakfast" amenities—maybe some orange juice. Not only was there no juice, but there was also no milk with the cereal. I settled for a yogurt, grabbed an extra one for my son, and went back to the room. He took one bite, said it tasted strange, and checked the expiration date. It had expired jun 24th, and the date was July 1 (see photos).||I immediately brought the unopened yogurt back to the front desk. The staff member apologized and said he’d “look into it,” but offered no replacement, no real apology, and certainly no gesture of goodwill like a room discount or even a safe replacement snack. Nothing. That’s not just bad service—that’s dangerous.||This hotel’s online photos and advertisements are completely misleading. Our experience was not exaggerated, and I’m not being dramatic—this is what happened. This place is outdated, unsanitary, and unsafe. I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy.

Sleep in your car you’re better off. Don’t know where to begin between the place looking like a run down homeless shelter. Or the rooms that make the smallest apartment in New York look big. Not to mention zero amenities such as a working vending machine. There version of breakfast is cold coffee and cereal…. Not to mention the expired week old yogurt that they left in the fridge……. I also don’t even think the people in this place even clean.. I would rather stay at a truck stop hotel in the middle of know where than here…. I would give it it a negative 5 stars is it was possible Oh and if you’re disabled good luck… no handicap parking or elevator so if you do have to stay in this dump I hope you get the first floor.

3 stars. I was thankful to have a room after serious heat exhaustion from living in Quartzsite (2 stars). Clean comfortable bed. AC. Greeting was subpar - no smile, no eye contact, no welcome, no food in vending machine (owe me a dollar - last bag of chips wouldn't fall😂), no recos for food/delivery, breakfast is free - but it's not a Full Homemade Breakfast. 137 a night. I'll be glad when motels are a thing in the past. The owner probably lives in Flagstaff.

Profoundly disappointing, systemic failure and blatant disregard for basic hospitality I reserved and pre-paid for this room for my elderly Mother for a 3 night stay. After driving 9.5 hours, she should have been treated better than this. Her request for help with her luggage from car parked right in front of the lobby was denied. There were no other customers in sight and parking lot largely left empty. She had to get a cart and do it herself in this AZ heat. TV did not work, Phone dead and astonishingly not a single bar of soap in the entire hotel was available. What kind of hotel would not provide soap? Shampoo/conditioner dispensers were up too high and since they were both nearly empty and you had to climb into the tub to accesss them, she is not frail yet she was unable to squeeze them hard enough, so she couldn't even use them as a soap substitute. The only laundry service was a single machine which was out of order. Likely for a long time judging by the notice on it. Mattress was so old and worn you could feel the springs. A/C was so loud when it cycled on, it shocked me when i was there but my 90% deaf mother said it sounded like a helicopter was landing in her room. But the final straw for me was to hear that on her day of departure, since she once again had to take her own luggage out on a cart, the employee at the front desk watched her struggle with the door and didn't say a word, just disappeared into the back room as had been the pattern throughout her stay. And again, not another customer in sight. My mother, ever gracious, would not have left this review and is always willing to give the benefit of the doubt, but after witnessing these repeated lapses, I cannot. This level of neglect and poor service is not simply an off day. Hospitality should be about comfort, care, and respect—anything less is unacceptable.

I have never stayed in a filthier, more rundown place anywhere in the world! Any good reviews must have been written by the owner or someone who doesn't care where they stay. Not one good thing about this place. Rates are what you would pay for a nice hotel. Linens, towels, shower curtains all stained and worn beyond belief. Dilapidated dirty furniture. Shower, tub disgusting with faucets that didn't work right. Didn't bother looking at the hillside pool but figured it was as bad as it gets . Even a broken out room window right out front !! This place should be condemned!! A Choice hotel at its worst! Zero rating!

I imagine this place at one time was very nice. Not now. It appears that very little maintenance on this building has been done over time. The bed in my room slanted down towards the headboard. The office type chair had its back. peeling away. I also had been calling the hotel for a couple of days to get a ground floor room, but their phone number came back with "the number is suspended". So I ended up with a second floor room. No elevator. Steep stairway.

Enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. I just want to thank Quality inn for not charging for my 10 lb dog. I've been charged by other hotels for my little dog and truly feel it was so unfair. Thank you again because my fur friend is like my child and behaved better than most kids. 👍💞

Poor sound barrier with sliding glass door. Heard everything. Bed and pillows very uncomfortable. Night stand too close to bed. Hit my head . Carpet dirty. Poor water pressure. Drain in sink clogged. Will never stay here again

Stayed here one night for a job assignment in town. This is a two story hotel located on the east end of town. The room was a little small and the furnishings outdated. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. I was placed in a handicap room so the bathroom had features such as handrails on the toilet and a roll-in shower (shower head not removable). Breakfast in the morning was your standard items. Make your own waffles, eggs, sausage patties, cereal and toast. There is an outdoor pool that was closed when I visited (March). I was on the first floor but do not recall seeing an elevator. Very friendly and helpful staff.

If you want to stay in a dump - welcome. Dark mold in shower/tub, rude front desk employee, (evening), dirt parking lot, and generally shabby room. I will avoid this place in the future, and so should you.

Not much quality here rooms smelled loud heater it was either on or off no settings they advertised 24 hr coffe none there not even at free breakfast no hot water for tea either towels papper thin staff hides never at desk you have to ring a bell and wait quite disappointing

Roaches in the room. Outdated and needs maintenance. Breakfast is terrible! Pretty sure the sausage was from the day before since it was a dry little hockey puck. There wasn't any bacon or eggs. Coffee was out as well as no milk for cereal. When I rang the bell for assistance at the front desk l, I head a groan from the back. Never again!

They don't claim to be a 5 star hotel or motel but I stayed there recently and was pleasantly surprised... all the employees from top to bottom were very nice and attentive to my needs...it's right out of town just far enough away to take a break from the local dope smokin goat roper's who aren't fun to hang out with till they're not...and a special shout out to Tommie at the front desk I own a couple of businesses and would be privileged to help her in my organization... keep up the great work and maybe you could have a heated chacuzzi to heal my wounds from battling the locals...JK...LOL...SEE YOU NEXT TIME

This location in need of remodel. Thankfully I found the bed to be comfortable. When you shower, get ready for temperature changes in the water. It goes cold in an instant and then back to your setting. Noisy location with traffic but also the refrigerator and air conditioner will wake you. The one thing this place has going for it is the manager. Nice guy trying to do what he can to make your stay comfortable.

We made reservations for two nights, handicapped accessible room, April 2022. The check-in clerk was friendly and very helpful. Our room was awful. The floor of the handicapped accessible shower was black, this black material extended two inches above the floor of the shower, on all three sides of the shower. All of the walls in the room had chipped paint along the walls at the height of the back of a sitting chair. The rug was stained. The desk chair seat covering was completely peeling is off and disgusting. The parking lot was not paved, it was covered in dirt. This not a three star. The only good thing about this hotel was the staff were friendly and very helpful. Do not stay at this disgusting hotel.

Clean, free breakfast, plenty of pillows, A/C works good (very important in August. No elevator so got ground floor room. Plenty of towels and toiletries. Coffee and coffee maker. The person I made the reservation with was super friendly and accommodating, I believe his name was Christian. Mini-refrigerator wasn't as cold as I'd like. Tub had rust spot. Bed wasn't comfortable for me, no pillow top and very stiff and springy, my daughter's slept fine. Breakfast was Belgium waffles syrup, scrambled eggs, thin bacon, apples, oranges (were pretty old), 3 types of cereal, oatmeal, orange juice, apple juice, pastries, muffins, bagels, bread, toaster, peanut butter, jam, butter, margarine, cream cheese, yogurt, milk (half&half, 2%, skim). Maybe more, a very large and plentiful selection. The breakfast prep lady was very nice as was the morning clerk and housekeeping.

Robert is awesome! We were staying for a dove hunt and had fantastic service here. I'd highly recommend if you needed to stay.

Over priced Lousy continental breakfast (waffles, oatmeal, yogurt, and toast... whoo hooo) Stains on bedspread, Chairs Random light fixture in corner Poorly painted Old crock was working front desk and has the personality of a knat! Not coming back again!

Just about everything in this hotel room was broken or not working properly. The sink had a giant crack in it that leaked water. The window was cracked. The ac/heater would randomly switch from ac to heat, even though it was set to only ac, so I woke up in a pool of sweat twice. The bathroom door hinges were super loose so I couldn't shut the door completely and it would not latch or lock. The water in the shower would constantly switch temperatures from freezing cold to burning hot so when I got out of the showers I had burns on my shoulders. The toilet wouldn't flush on the first try and took up to five flushes to get rid of waste. The walls in the bathroom were cracking and had drywall particles all over the floor. Two of the four towels were stained and smelled as if they were never washed. Additionally, the side door to the hotel didn't lock so anyone could come inside if they wanted. Overall, this was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at and I will be sure to never return there again.

My boyfriend and I had to book a last minute trip to Arizona to attend a wake for a family member. His extended family drove from Georgia and California to join us all. We found this Quality Inn, near the town for the wake. It's a pretty quiet and quaint area. Their rooms are basic, but really nice for a motel/hotel in the middle of nowhere. I'm not going to be picky, because the room we got were only $80/night which is cheap when you compare to Hawaii prices, but it had the essentials. The Good: - Affordable/cheap - Convenient for stopping by - Free Breakfast - Nice pool area - Beds were comfortable - TV had cable (yay!) - AC!!!! (needed) - Maintained landscaping - Close to multiple restaurants in the area: Country Kitchen, Mcdonalds, Pizza hut, etc The bad: - Mold in the bathroom - Not enough plugs in their rooms - Room #106 had a cracked tile beneath the toilet, I could see into the hole. - Room #203 has a small cramped bathroom, avoid. - AC in Lobby was broken, very stuffy Also their employees were all friendly and nice. Their breakfast was basic. You can make your own waffles, they have eggs and bacon, and varieties of pastries. They even have a cereal bar.

I travel through Wickenburg going North and South many many times during each month as I travel for my job. I make it a point to stop at Wickenburg as my middle of the trip location and I always stay at the Quality Inn located there. They are outstanding! Everything is always clean, the free breakfast is really good, and plenty of the extras that make a stay pleasurable. I have been there so much that I am recognized and known by my name which makes me feel appreciated as a customer. Everyone is friendly, courteous, and will go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. Keep up the great work. Please know you are appreciated! Jim F.

Beds are soooo uncomfortable. The breakfast was a joke. They advertise it until 9:00 am. We showed up at 8:30 and all the milk was hot. They didn't have the waffles they advertised. They didn't restock anything for us so we just ate toast and cold bacon. So frustrating especially since the room cost us $130 on a Monday night! They wouldn't even give us a AAA discount. Will never stay here again.

Stayed here in the middle of summer- air conditioning in lobby was out..in the room wasn't much better. Room was dirty, toilet didn't flush. The breakfast was pretty bad too. Thank goodness that part of my stay was free.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Look at the photos and video before you decide to stay here. This was by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I felt our health was in danger because with Coronavirus this place claims it sanitized everything but it was by far the filthiest place I've ever stayed in. I never slept the whole night with fear of bed bugs because I killed three bugs before I went to bed. The sheets in the first room had black STAINS all over them (see photos) so they moved us to a "better" room according to them. The second room had mold all over tub and shower a toilet that didn't flush, black smudges all over walls, bugs, the room was never vacuumed, the bed cover had stains all over it, the room smelled like smoke, some of the lights were inoperable. The only reason we stayed was because we checked in so late we were exhausted. To make things worse,, there was no breakfast except toast and coffee. We cancelled the second night but they would not refund our money. Honestly, your better off sleeping in your car than rushing your health at this disgusting place.

If you want to see example of well educated Indian manager and management must visit this motel , they were so helpful and kind

Pillows are small so bring your own Okay little room, its fine for one night Lower level is nice, with a small patio, and convenient for caring in luggage, as well as close parking.

Equality inn is not a place I would stay there again to start with the price was to high do to the Gold Rush day we did have a choice , the first room they put us in the bath tub had a rusty hole in it and the microwave had cheese splashed all over it the second room was better. The help was very unfriendly no one stayed at the front counter you had to ring a bell if you needed help, the breakfast room was very dark the food was very skinny, they never empty the garbage can until the were over flowing I was out for walk and it looked the workers ate lunch out back and left the garbage there, I will have to say the bed and pillows were great

I was traveling through the area on an all-american road trip, but needed a place to stop off and work. Manny was so sweet to let me use the wifi and have a delicious hot breakfast, all for $15. The eggs and waffles were perfect, and they had tons of other breakfast items that looked amazing. The wifi was super fast, and I was able to chill in the breakfast lounge and catch up on work. Thanks so much for having me!!

Happened to be in town the same weekend as a reunion so this was my only affordable option. Room was barely useable. Dirty walls, tile coming off the shower wall, caulking coming out from bottom of the toilet, drywall damage behind the toilet, and found a piece of a condom wrapper by the night stand. Pictures of Facility definitely paint a rosier picture than reality.

Black Mold in the bathroom. Half used lotion in the room. The pool was dirty. They did get it clean but unfortunately the young man at the front desk didn't have the energy to check it so we had to beg him to look at it in order to get it unlocked. The breakfast definitely lacked. After seeing what looked like a half eaten donut and empty milk containers I wasn't to hungry. I really like quality inn usually

First I must say we covered 73,000 square miles in 2014 and it's motel to motel. Management and staff are warm friendly and are just about down home as it gets. Rooms are clean comfortable up to date. Easy in easy out ,they work for your comfort. Passing through stay here to rest and take breath no regrets here!!

Upon arrival staff had a very upbeat personality. Upon opening door to room found my online reservations didn't matter.(disappointment) got queens instead of king. On entry: Room was neat. Amenities were present. Large screen tv. After settling in: Electrical plugs on desk worn out, stains in bathtub, mattress could have been better. Even with its faults hotel stays busy, make a reservation normally walk in will be turned away after 5pm.

I had to stay because I was to tired to continue driving... I should have just slept in my car.

I stayed at the Quality Inn for 3 nights and was very satisfied with my room and service. They have the BEST free breakfast every morning and a nice pool/jacuzzi that is located out of view from the other rooms. (I got to make my own Belgium waffles!) Our standard (2 Queens) room was clean and spacious. It had a mini fridge AND microwave. Their friendly staff treated us like family and since I was visiting for my father's funeral, they heavily discounted my rate because they knew who he was and were sorry for his passing. I will stay here again, the next time I visit Wickenburg.

Pros..they allow pets. The beds were comfortable and clean. There are great places to walk your dog. Cons..the exterior grounds need help, very weedy and around the perimeter (where you walk the dog)there was 3 small bags of garbage and a dirty diaper. Security is a joke because the exit door did not require the room card to enter even though there was a slot reader. The room we stayed in only had the lick on the door knob the top lock was broken off. The bathtub needed replaced because it had many chipped places and the ceiling above had what appeared to be mold. All in all there seemed to be a lot of deferred maintenance.

Exceptionally clean, great service and I will go back! Just a few miles north of Phoenix, AZ. Priced right, comfortable and the locals are very friendly! Room is well appointed w/ hairdryer, microwave, fridge, large flat screen TV, extra towels, etc. etc.
