Quality Sweets

Google
Quality Sweets never disappoints! Their mithaai is absolutely awesome — fresh, rich in flavor, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. You can tell they use quality ingredients because every piece tastes authentic and homemade. Rabri was rich in texture and flavor, nice packing in katori. The gulab jamuns are soft and melt in your mouth, the barfi has that perfect texture, and the jalebis are crisp and syrupy without being too heavy. Easily one of the best places for traditional sweets — every visit feels like a treat!

Google
this is the first time I ordered sweets from this place. decent place for bengali sweets. I bought the sweets probably 3 days ago and finished them pretty quickly ( yes all by myself about a good 1-kg or more) lol. Rasgullas could be better but chamcham and other sweets with khoya chaina combo are pretty good. didn't like the jalebi :( they lacked the signature khameeri taste of jalebi. But all in all very happy and thankful for the bengali sweets. Definitely would like to visit in person someday :)

Google
Delicious indian sweets ( mithai). Very different and fresh flavor compared to many other places in NJ. Their Bengali sweets specifically are quite tasty. Must try!

Google
“PLEASE READ ALL THE REVIEWS BEFORE WASTING YOUR MONEY” Absolutely pathetic customer service. The staff have no basic manners or respect in the way they speak. I truly wish this shop learns a lesson soon. I was told they would close even if I was a minute late — despite me rushing to reach on time. Google Maps took me to the back door, where an employee kindly let me in, but as I was about to enter the main shop, the owner started shouting at me. This is not the way to treat a customer. If I were buying for myself, I would’ve walked out immediately, but I was getting sweets for a friend who was fasting the next day, so I had no choice but to complete the purchase. It was my first visit — and definitely my last. Extremely disappointed and irritated. I could not post another reply after reading your reply message, So adding here itself - your staff was the one who told me yes I can come in and it was dark I could not see any no entry board. If so your staff could have told me not to enter and come from the front door, but no one did that. And again it was your staff who said I can come in by 8:05.

Google
Ladoo was not fresh. Gulab jamun was good compared to other sweets. Not tooo... sweet which is good. but one of the lady who works at the counter ( maybe a telugu lady) was rude and less patient. shows an attitude

Google
Bengali sweets are great here but pricy. Service is okay. This is only a take out place. Any snack items are super expensive. I did not find them worth the price. Probably go again for sweets.

Google
Quality is in the name and the experience I was given the owner personally helped me out understand the menu I got the Bengali sweet box and imarti it was all amazing from the food to the service I was extremely happy!

Yelp
Small hole in the wall establishment with horrible service oh but the sweets - I could go on and wax eloquently about the rosgolla, the shakar para, the kalakan, etc Ignore all but the sweets

Remy M.

Yelp
Terrible service. Rude lady and her mother. They also made up all sort of fake charges. A bag is $0.50 ridiculous! Food wasn't good. Ambiance nothing worth mentioning, a hole in the wall.

Drashti P.

Yelp
Number 1 sweets in America. Every time fresh sweet they make it and jalebi also awesome. I like the special kesar pista jalebi. employees also friendly and they guide best sweet all time.

Vimal B.

Yelp
One of the worst places you can go to waste your money. Horrible service & overpriced flavorless sweets! Stay away.

Yelp
Sweets were fine, though customer service was poor. Woman at the counter clearly just wanted to fill our box and go

Yelp
Great sweets! Does needs a little bit more organization when it gets busy (around holidays) but overall delicious !

C K.

Yelp
The sweets are not fresh. It is better to buy frozen sweets from Patels or other grocery stores rather than buying here.

Yelp
They make the best chole bhature on oak tree rd For us. Not too spicy and flavorful and authentic punjabi. Price is a very reasonable and they have real authentic punjabi sweets as well. Their paranthaas are big and amazing. People are really nice there. Highly recommended

Yelp
Went to this place based on Yelp reviews to get sweets. Was not impressed at all. The jalebi was old and that was the only item we bought.
google avatar

Manisha K.

Yelp
They serve best Indian sweets and authentic Indian chaats. The only reason I stroked the star is because they don't accept card payment. Cash isn't always readily available so that's one inconvenience. They take complaints also very seriously and help rectify the situation. Reasonably priced menu. Limited seating for 4-6 people so it's mostly takeaway kind.

Yelp
the counter lady is very rude and says that she is in business since 1997 and earned so much money that she doesn't need much business any more so she is behaving like this.

Vikram B.

Yelp
Their kalakand is very fresh and is light as cotton candy. Khoya pista barfi is great too.

Rahila D.

Yelp
I had been coming to this business for the last 15 years and always received a nice welcome and was friendly with the the owners(older woman and her daughter) but in the last 2 years have noticed the owner beginning to act quite rude to me. For example last week I went to buy a bunch of things )totaling around $60) and when I asked for a tray instead of a box for the multiple lbs of jalebi, the lady at the front counter said NO in a very rude manner then went to ask her boss in the back whom I guess said ok but charged me $1 for it and also refused to give me a lid for that tray I just paid for. I then asked for a plastic bag big enough for my items which then was a BIG issue where both women raised their voice and said no we don't give large bags for this order. I was appalled at the service I received and let them know I would NOT be back here. I'm not sure what sparked this kind of rude behavior in these women but it's unacceptable especially when I have been a loyal customer for over a decade. I'd rather go next door where the staff isn't this rude and disrespectful.

Yelp
Quality Sweets is a small restaurant hidden away within the chaos of Isleins Oak Tree Rd. They have the most beautifully decorated, delicious, melt in your mouth mithai EVER. One can simply never go wrong with choosing from the wide assortment of mithai Quality Sweets offers. Also, they have a great variety of snacks and appetizers to choose from such as samosa chaat, papri chaat, dosa, etc. The papri chaat here is amazing! I've tried papri chaat at every restaurant I've been to and will have to say, this place beats them all. It has just the right texture, taste, ingredients and amount of condiments.

Bijal P.

Yelp
Very great service! Sweet owner and offered us to try other sweets and snacks! Pani puri was great as well as the sweets!!
google avatar

Kish P.

Yelp
Giving this 5 stars for the perfect samosas in town. They have other popular dishes but what's different about them is indeed their quality and the savoriness of each item. Best ladoos in town and 4/5 times you can never go wrong with their jalebis.

Anna C.

Yelp
This is the best sweets place in the area. Great variety and the sweets always look beautiful.
google avatar

Yelp
Pretty friendly folks- this is slightly smaller than the shalimar counter but I don't doubt the freshness or quality. Their chum chum was tasty and met the standards of all similar ones I've had.. The malpura (a flat fried round dough piece soaked in sweetness and covered with some almonds) and served with malai (creamy milk solid). It was delishhhhh!!
google avatar

Yelp
I've lived in the Edison/Iselin area for a long time and have visited many Indian sweet shops. This is hands down THE BEST. they have the best and freshest sweets and their papri and samosa chat is amazing! I visit here twice a week every time i visit NJ. Also, amazing customer service. The ladies are so sweet and helpful

Yelp
My last meal couldnt have been any better. Man i would kill that guy again for that sweet sweet jalabi.

No N.

Yelp
Employee working behind the counter was extremely and unnecessarily rude. We ordered carry-out food to go assuming that the contents of the specific dish would packed separately, as this is how it had always been packed many times before at this shop. When we saw that the employee had started preparing the dish as if it would be eaten right away, we stopped him to explaine that we had wanted the items packed separately because it wouldn't be eaten for another half an hour, and the dish would get soggy. Employee could have calmly and respectfully informed us of our options at that point, but instead became furious. He rudely snapped, "Too bad, not my problem. I'm not a mind reader. What am I supposed to do now?" Sir, I don't expect you to be a mind reader, but I do expect you to have basic customer service skills and kindness when responding to a customer's query. Sounds like he was having a bad day, but that's not an excuse for treating customers poorly. We've come here many times before with no problem, but we won't be coming again.

Yelp
Wow, all I can say is wow. This place has by far the best sweets in the world. The chum chum is amazing must have. Great friendly staff too, and the cute young guy working the counter was an added bonus. I'll definitely re visit it was worth the hour drive!
