Really nice coffee , nice space for chatting with friends and working staffs are friendly they have specialty coffee retail shelf as well . Highly recommend but no my favourite ham cheese croissant

I had a vegan Muffin with Pistachio and an Americano. I also tried an vegan Biscoff Latte. It was very delicious. The staff was very friendly. I recommend this coffee shop!

Visited at 8:47 am on Monday 11th August 2025. Not one person said hello or asked if they could help. I had to ask them, and was met with a very frosty response. I suggest the staff receive some training as being that rude and unhelpful is not great. I felt very unwelcome. It's shame as I visited two or three years ago with different staff there and the atmosphere wasn't like that then. I won't be back.

I really enjoy the area. it's very cosy and wide open space. The options are somewhat limited, but I do like the beverages, my favourite being matcha coffee, and they do a cold brew. I got a smoothie yesterday, which was great, and the portion was great.

First time in a while I ordered an espresso and actually enjoyed it. Most "cafes" have it on their menu but they haven't got a clue how to make it, so why sell it at all? It's infuriating because it's a minor fraud, promising something they can't deliver at all. Thankfully this place knows how to do it. The drink was sweet, smooth, thick and pleasant. Also there's no silly music blasting in the background so you can focus on your drink.

NO DOGS ALLOWED. Previously visited this place with my dog to grab a takeaway coffee and no problem. Last time was told no dogs allowed due to some staff allergy??? Super confusing policies, no stickers on the doors or online warning about this, and I’m pretty sure I’ve seen other dogs in there before, as I live locally. Anyway as other comments mention it’s a bit hit and miss and coffee/milk have been burned before. Advice to people with dogs: if you have a dog just go around the corner to Brod, much friendlier staff, better coffee as well as food.

Quiet (might be timing/time of day - Wednesday afternoon in mid-March) trendy, but not in an intimidating way, cafe. Just had tea (it was proper leaf tea) and cake. Good quality and taste for both. Nice seating, including bench at the window, tables and sofas.

Nice cafe just round the corner from Cardiff Bay. Friendly staff and very relaxing atmosphere. They carry a variety of beans although they are for sale and you can’t choose what your coffee is made of. On my visit the only choice for a drip (filter) coffee is from Yunnan China. Coffee was nicely brewed but a little too weak for my taste. I still enjoyed it though. It’s always nice to have freshly ground and brewed coffee.
