A great, amazing, safe, well run trip to see Antarctica with terrific, knowledgeable highly educated experienced leaders. The staff were experts in their fields of interest, and provided fulfilling educational sessions based scientific facts. The food was great. Service was great! Very clean and comfortable. The number of people on the ship was the right size and the boat is well equipped. Would highly recommend ultramarine and quark for any trip they offer. Pictures can not replace being here. Words and images do not represent the overwhelming experience of the vast, massive, untouched nature witnessed here below the Antarctic circle.

Quark expeditions did a great job and we thoroughly enjoyed our expedition. We chose to fly over the drake, so we had 5 nights aboard the world explorer. Cabins are nice size, bathrooms (by ship standards) are massive. Food was good, wine is included but I recommend paying for the wine and selecting something better. What made the trip was definitely the staff… the expedition team in particular! I would definitely recommend to anyone!

After our wonderful trip with Quark Expeditions we were lost as to what to do after being pampered and taken care of for 10 days. Quark has their stuff together and it was amazing to see how the Expedition Leader and Team kept us entertained and happy every minute of the day and into the night. The Zodiac cruises and landings were phenomenal. The lectures each day were so professional and well done. The food was delicious and so creative. I want to go back!

Every detail was perfect. Beautiful ship, fantastic food, and best of all a Quark team! Every member from Shane on was first class. Bertie, Greg, Alys, Nicola, Valerie, Mark… I could go on and on. Our Quark adventure was the trip of a lifetime. From start to finish our trip to Antarctica was one we will never forget. Incredible ship, fun excursions, great food, amazing staff, and super knowledgeable and friendly guides. Highly recommend!

I had one of the most incredible trips of my lifetime with Quark Expeditions on their trip to Snow Hill in November 2023. We got to spend 2 full days with the emporer penguins as well as tour the entire western coast of the peninsula. We got to see all of the penguin species, so many whales and some of the most beautiful unique landscapes ive ever seen. The boat was perfect, the service and guides were absolutely fantastic and I could not recommend theem more highly. I cannot wait for my next trip with Quark Expeditions!

Sometimes, the best decisions are made at the last minute. My spur-of-the-moment choice to join Quark Expeditions' Antarctica adventure aboard the World Explorer proved just that. Beyond the breathtaking landscapes and incredible wildlife encounters, the expedition team truly made the trip exceptional. Their passion for what they do was evident in everything they did. The depth of their knowledge was astounding, and their skill and attentiveness were consistently impressive. The ship's staff further solidified my belief that this was the right decision. Their friendly smiles and attentive service made everyone feel welcome, and the diverse and delicious cuisine was a definite highlight. While the entire staff, both on the ship and the expedition team, were outstanding, a few individuals deserve special recognition.
