Dallas' Best Michelin-Approved Restaurants by Neighborhood - AFAR

"New Zealand–influenced restaurant inspired by chef-owner Tony Archibald, offering refined dishes such as sea bass en papillote and hot smoked Glory Bay salmon, followed by desserts like a flat white tart. The cozy dining room, complete with sheepskin throws, reinforces a warm, Down Under–inspired atmosphere." - AFAR

Great place to dine. We came here for a special evening, and Quarter Acre Bistro delivered. Great food, presented in a gorgeous way, along with friendly, efficient service, we will definitely be back.

Lovely food salad was absolutely fabulous. Vaccine pass required though. Triple chocolate cake very nice. Clean tidy indoor and gorgeous outside garden setting with ample seating available

We celebrated my 80th birthday with 40 friends and family, many who had flown in from overseas for the occasion. From our first contact with Renee to discuss ways of putting on a lunch party back in October 2024 to the final tweaking of details the week before the party and then the big day last Saturday, everything was made easy for us and nothing too much trouble. Even the request that my ageing much loved Schnauzer , Digby, be present, was agreed to immediately. The party itself was everything I could have hoped for. Great food circulating continuously by friendly staff. A dessert buffet containing all my favourites plus a birthday cake and the perfect weather (I can’t give them credit for that !! ) which meant we could all sit or stroll in the lovely garden, giving the whole occasion the ambience of a garden party . What a magical setting for all the many photos !! I can’t rate the Quarter Acre Event Centre highly enough . Definitely thr go to place for a special function.

Flat white were good and the salad was also nice! But 7,5$ for such a small portion of fries was a bit too expensive.

Quarter Acre is a lovely cafe just off SH1 In Manakau. Very good options from cabinet or menu and a variety of places to sit. Rustic with flowers and trees. The staff are excellent and very keen to make your meal memorable. A relaxing venue for locals and travelers.

Charming hidden treasure. Good quality food with attractive seating areas inside and out. Not for the budget conscious but well worth a try especially for the gardens heritage home lovers or a special occasion.

Nice coffee right at the highway. We popped in for a coffee and had a brownie. The coffee was good, the service lady wasn't too friendly (the younger women were tough), the brownie was way too sweet (don't eat it). I guess they also serve food, but we didn't try that.
