"The Quebec City Marriott is a comfortable city hotel designed for business and leisure travel. With just over a hundred rooms and suites, this intimate property makes for an excellent spot to retreat to after a day of exploring. The modern amenities and interior design make it one of the premier business hotels in the city. Here you’ll find reliable hospitality and amenities like a sizable hotel gym, fail-safe restaurant and bar, and meeting rooms with catering on-demand. The on-site restaurant, Que Sera Sera, is a fine-casual eatery with a particularly noteworthy duck confit and an excellent selection of both international and local Quebec wine and spirits. Located in the center of the action in Quebec City, from here, guests can easily explore the more local-leaning side of Rue Saint-Jean which boasts eclectic local color and affordably priced bars and restaurants. It’s also easy to get to the more touristy side of the city, with the heart of Vieux Quebec just 15 minutes away by foot."

We had the most memorable time staying here. The rooms are clean and cozy. The hotel is beautiful and very close to the center and everything. It was comforting to run from the cold and be by the cozy fireplace. The breakfast and dinner were delicious. The staff was so helpful to our family trying to navigate the city and made our overall experience in Quebec City/Canada better. Thank you

I booked two double queen rooms for my family of 5 for a weekend in Quebec City and it was perfect. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The concierge and front desk attendant were pleasant and welcoming. The parking was close by in a public parking garage that cost about $20 for 24 hours. The location is central to pretty much everything you could think to do an see in Quebec. The bar downstairs is nice with a decent wine selection and food options. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

I had a great stay at the Marriott Quebec City! The staff were incredibly friendly, and the rooms were spacious, modern, and recently renovated. As an elite member, I appreciated being offered a high-floor room with a lovely view. The hotel’s location is fantastic—right at the edge of Old Town, making it perfect for exploring the city. Highly recommend!

The Marriott Hotel in downtown Quebec City offers a wonderful blend of comfort, elegance, and convenience. Its prime location (close to Rue St. Jean) allows easy access to historic sites, charming cafes, and the vibrant atmosphere of Old Quebec. Attentive staff, clean rooms, and modern amenities. The hotel’s cozy lobby, excellent restaurant, and scenic views add to the overall experience, making it a fantastic choice for both business and leisure travelers. Whether exploring or relaxing, Marriott Quebec City ensures a memorable stay in a beautiful setting. Make sure to get a city view room, mine was on the 9th floor. Beautiful!

Google
My name is Jeff s. I am a lifetime titanium Marriott customer and I've been at Marriott products all over the globe and I want to say that the staff here were extremely kind and their service was over the top, especially their Chief concierge Germain Robitaille who handled a personal issue for me that took quite a bit of effort with great generosity and Grace. It looks like there's a lot of really good hotels in the old town area, but when I go back to Quebec City I will be staying at this hotel because of the welcoming Spirit And the great service

Google
A stone throw away from the Old City and all the quaint places of Old Quebec. Fantastic location. The hotel however is rather ran-down. The iconic facade unfortunately was under renovation during our stay - a pity as we want to take a nice photo with it. Not really a Marriott property. No club lounge, breakfast was ok but not fantastic though the egg station was nice and not too friendly the staff. An Asian Platinum Elite is not on par with a Caucasian one I suppose.

Google
Had a really nice 4 day stay at the Marriott QC Centreville. It was the 4 of us and room was plenty large for 2 large suitcases and 3 adults, one child. We didn't have a view but that was ok since we were out most of the time. Location was literally adjacent to Place D'Youville and then Rue Saint-Jean was just beyond the gates after the square. Personally, I thought the location was better than the Fairmont and less expensive ie: better value. I had forgotten my contact lens case and they actually were able to send up a travel kit immediately (was charged nominally for it). We didn't get the daily breakfast but seems the spread was ample. We parked at the underground parking next to the hotel (across the street) and it was $20 CAD per 24h. We didn't do valet. Can get a daily pass from the parking garage if you want to do in/out. We found about that later. All in all, highly recommended.

Google
This was the perfect hotel. The room was great. We had a great breakfast buffet in the hotel restaurant. We loved the location. It was just a short walk to great shops and restaurants. The concierge was very helpful. The lobby was lovely and comfortable.

Yelp
My wife and I visited Quebec City for a long weekend, along with two other couples. We all stayed at this hotel and had a great experience. The location is perfect, right outside the wall of the old town. Easy walking distance to all the restaurants and bars. Our room was very clean and nice and quiet. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. If you're visiting Quebec City, this hotel is a good choice to stay at!

Yelp
Great hotel for those who want to explore Quebec city with convenience. The hotel is located steps away from the fortress and other tourist attractions, so you will have easy access to all of them by foot. on top of that, you will never have to worry about food - there is an abundance of amazing restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and coffee shops steps away. Everything inside looked nice and clean, rooms were decent size, the staff was friendly and you even get a free drink coupon at their bar upon check-in. One thing to keep in mind since this is a centrally located hotel - it can be a bit noisy in the evenings with all the traffic, especially during the weekends. It didn't bother me, but if you are a light sleeper, you might prefer a different location. Overall, it's a great value for the money and I would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
The only good thing about this Marriott property is the location. It is situated near Old Quebec and walking distance to shops and restaurants. The property itself is incredibly unremarkable. Rooms were old and worn out. We had a crappy view right into a tall office building where we could watch people slave away at their menial work and they could watch us complain about the overly noisy air conditioning unit in our room. We chose this hotel because we stay at a lot of Marriott properties and we used points for our stay. There are a multitude of better hotels in this immediate area. I would recommend choosing one of them.

Zenaida O.

Yelp
Amazing location. The staff (all) were knowledgeable and made great recommendations for food and sight seeing. The room was also very clean. We had a king suite on the 6th floor. Very walkable to eateries and shops. Also some very close to points of interest. Breakfast was basic Buffett. We had the free breakfast but on our last day we splurged for eating at one of the local eateries. Well worth it!

Alan L.

Yelp
Great location! It is a typical Marriott business hotel with REALLY nice staff. Everyone is helpful and attentive. The Old City is a few steps away and there is a large self parking lot across the street if you don't want to use the valet. There is no lounge.

Todd B.

Yelp
PRo-tip: Ask for a room with a view of the old town and a high floor. Location: 5* Service: 5* Prices: 4* Food: 4* Stayed here for the first time in late May. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. There was some confusion about our reservations, but the staff addressed them and compensated us with drink tickets. As a titanium elite, I enjoyed daily breakfast, daily drink at the bar, and ability to get two things per day from their store (think small snacks). Also, as they don't have a lounge, they offered us to get free bottled water daily from the store. The location was great with easy (albeit hilly) walking distance to the old town, Chateau Frontenac, and the lower town. The front desk and concierge staff were great. Very willing to help make reservations, call for us to secure places, and also make recommendations for what to do and see. I would highly recommend you rent a car and visit Sainte Anne de Beaupre, Montmercy Falls, and I'le d'Orleans (wine country). Great short day trip from Quebec City and this hotel.

Isabelle H.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel with perfect location steps away from the entrance to the walled city. Very helpful staff particularly our server Cedric from the hotel restaurant.

Peter S.

Yelp
This hotel is spectacular in many respects. It is ideally located steps away from the gate to Old Quebec. The staff and GM Karine Gervais are professional, courteous and responsive. They enhance the experience in this charming city. The breakfast is yummy.

Jennifer P.

Yelp
My husband and I stayed here on our most recent trip to Quebec City and we loved it. We paid with taxes and fees about$165 a night (booking directly with the hotel). This did not include breakfast nor parking, but did include WiFi. The hotel is very clean and the room was spacious. The staff are really nice. There's a fitness centre with treadmills, ellipticals, a stationary bike, some exercise balls, and some free weights. It's new and clean and each time we went, we were the only people there, lol. Toiletries are from "Thann" (I seem to recall the brand being called "Harnn and Thann" so not sure what happened to Harnn, lol). The hair dryer is better quality than at most hotels I've stayed at. It's ceramic and ionic and had 3 settings and a cool air button. No diffuser attachment, but I don't use one so no big deal for me. There's a coffee maker with complimentary coffee and tea, but the bottles of waters are not complimentary. If you drink them you get charged $3.75 (there's a tag telling you such). The hotel is very conveniently located in the touristy part of town. We didn't have a car and felt no need for one, we were able to walk everywhere (the city is really hilly, so we got a good leg workout, haha). This Marriott is a really nice hotel, we would stay here again.

Yelp
We just returned from a stay at the Marriott Downtown Quebec, QC. First the good stuff. * It is a great location just outside the walled city at the Port St. Jean. Just on the other side of the gate, there is a terrific selection of restaurants and some nice shops. * The hotel itself was recently renovated in a tasteful, modern style. Colors and furniture are attractive and welcoming. * The concierge staff is amazing. Everyone we spoke to was friendly, helpful, and interested in our making the most of our stay in the city. And the not so good: * There is no parking on site or valet parking. Guests have to use one of several public garages nearby. * At check in, the first clerk was "not logged on and could not help" me. I had to wait for the other clerk (T) to finish with another guest. When T turned to me, after 15 minutes, he could find a room for us. I left to park the car. When I came back, T told me that his supervisor had authorized a room for us. (We had reserved the room about 2 months before and had checked in remotely that morning). * The room was a handicapped room at the rear of the hotel. Our door was next to an outside door at the rear of the hotel (about 3 meters away). We never felt completely secure in the room. * The window opened directly onto a major thoroughfare. There was no privacy with the drapes open. We kept them closed making the room feel dark and dingy. * My wife and I play cards most evenings. We sat in a foyer area next to the front door. The first night we noticed food scraps on the floor under the table. The second night the scraps were still there. The third night, the same scraps were still there along with other food crumbs. Oh, the table had rings from glasses on the table top all three nights. * And the bar tender.... She was a young woman, cheerful enough ~ when she was there. Every evening when I went to the bar, she was off hanging out at the reception desk or in the office even with customers at the bar. Given the number of fine, boutique hotels in Quebec, we will go elsewhere the next time we are in Quebec even though I am a gold elite Marriott customer.

Kevin S.

Yelp
Rooms and hotel are great ( clean and spacious ) with an amazing location just outside the gate, and combined with the price is what makes it a 5+ star.

C R.

Yelp
Very friendly staff, room was nice, view from the pool was lovely. Overall a great stay and would highly recommend.

Sherry W.

Yelp
This place is a great location for all attractions. It is located right outside the city wall. It's a 10 minute walk to Chateau Frontenac. The hotel is located in the upper city. When you want to Chateau Frontenac you can go down the steps to the lower village. There is a parking garage across from hotel for $18/24 hours. That is cheaper than the $30 valet option from hotel. The staff is very nice. They always greeted us. The room was quiet. It was a large room. The breakfast cost extra and was a buffet. They have flavored water in the lobby during the day. The rooms are clean and modern. There are chargers next to the bed. I would stay here again.

Eddy L.

Yelp
Standard Marriott hotel in a convenient location. The entrance from the Place D'Youville is a bit awkward because its in front of five lanes of traffic entering and leaving a large public parkade and there's no crosswalk. Our room was clean and modern, and everything was in good working order. Staff is friendly and obliging. There are a lot of cafes and restaurants nearby on Rue Saint Jean. The hotel is also convenient for the provincial government buildings which are located nearby. Not sure about the food options but there appears to be a dining area in the lobby. In any case its convenient for outside dining from fast food to fine restaurants. There's a nice Second Cup cafe next door and a Subway restaurant. There's a bus stop nearby where connections can be made to the airport. Good choice for tourist visits or for business.

Yelp
We stayed in Marriott downtown for 3 nights during our visit to Quebec City. I highly recommend this hotel for a number of reasons: - Rooms are neat and contemporary - Location is perfect: Just outside the walls of the old Quebec, which provides each access to old Quebec and the fantastic restaurants just outside old Quebec - Plenty of coffee shops and restaurants within 10 minutes walk - Easy check and check out process - Concierge to help plan any travels - A block away from bus stops I had a wonderful experience here and would definitely stay here during my next visit to Quebec City.

Christine C.

Yelp
This hotel met and exceeded our expectations! From the moment we entered the hotel, we were greeted in a warm, friendly manner by the every staff member from the front door to the front desk, as well as the concierge. Every time we entered or left, we were greeted with "bonjour" or "how are you enjoying your visit?" The room was clean and spacious, with a large, comfortable bed and plenty of drawers and closet space. The bathroom was large with plenty of counter space. We ate breakfast there twice, and the food was fresh and plentiful. The wait staff was also very accommodating and friendly. While it was a bit pricey, it was to be expected in a nice hotel. Finally, the location couldn't be better. We were able to walk everywhere with no need to use public transportation. We highly recommend this hotel, and would definitely return.

Michael R.

Yelp
Remodelled, clean, and pleasant. Has a nice bar, even though a bit overpriced. Has Starbucks coffee at the bar. Great place to stay. Would recommend.

Teena D.

Yelp
Gord and I spent two nights while we were in Quebec City this week at the Marriott Courtyard. I had booked it through Porter Escapes along with our flights (we flew via Porter Airlines). There were two small elevators servicing the floors (maybe eight floors?) ... each was in a different spot in the hotel. Surprisingly there wasn't much of a wait for the one we used. Our room it was cute. The floor had a bit of a slant downwards in front of the TV and desk towards the wall. The bathroom was huge! WIFI was free in the lobby area ... it's $12.95/night for up to five devices in the room. The speed was good. All the staff we talked with were friendly. This hotel is located in a great spot... just outside the walls of Old Quebec City so close to tons of restaurants, tourist attractions, etc. I'd stay there again if I go to Quebec City again.

Carol W.

Yelp
Our second time staying at this location, probably not our last. Great location-just outside one of the Vieux Quebec gates. The bilingual staff is super friendly and helpful. You can't go wrong.

Stacy P.

Yelp
If you are wishing to venture into Vieux-Québec, then this Marriott provides the perfect location, as it is is steps from the Rue Saint-Jean. Pro's: + Location, location, location- not only within walking distance to many of the sites, but also close to many restaurants and coffee and tea shops +Wifi- Decent connection. Expect to pay if you are not Gold Status or above, but see cons + Friendly and helpful staff + Shower- Excellent water pressure with ledge in the back of the tub + Concierge lounge- it's on the smaller side and a bit of a weird setup as it isn't enclosed and over looks the lobby, so sound will travel between. Also see cons. + Room- The corner King room was nice. It was large, quiet, and had outstanding views of Chateau Frontenac and Édifice Price Con's: - Wifi- It's a pain in the ass, but you will need to reconnect and resign-in every 24 hours -Concierge lounge- it is partially closed during the off season. The fridge and coffee is stocked, but there is no breakfast or nighttime food service. They did offer a free continental breakfast only coupon and a $10 restaurant coupon each night that you could use for anything, including the alcohol

Michelle K.

Yelp
For me, a Californian under water restriction laws due to the never ending drought/risk of drought/worst drought ever, the number one reason to recommend this hotel is this: the water pressure in the shower is THE BEST! Other reasons: location, friendly staff, and of course, to accrue Marriott points.

Jonathan S.

Yelp
This is a boutique hotel, not a full-fledged Marriott. The entrance is very difficult to find, there is no street-level signage, and a single door that is up steps or a ramp from the sidewalk. We arrived around 8pm and there was no one available to help with our luggage, only the offer from the desk clerk to help ourselves to the luggage trolley. The rooms are nicely remodeled, but lacking any place to set a suitcase for unpacking. There was no seating in the room except for the desk chair and the bed. The AC system is very loud, but efficient. We enjoyed a late dinner in the lobby restaurant and breakfast the next morning. It was fine for an overnight stay, but I'm not sure that I'd want to spend a week here.

Robert R.

Yelp
Great hotel and great location within walking distance of everything. We got upgraded to a suite which was overlooking the plaza. Nice friendly service and Kevin at the concierge is fantastic. They offer a nice late breakfast as well.

Marta H.

Yelp
What an amazing hotel in front of the gates to Old Quebec City. A1 customer service from the time you walk in until the time you leave. My FAVORITE hotel in Canada - can't wait to come back! PS - room 101 is terrific!

Hillary B.

Yelp
I can't say enough good things about this place. I visited this hotel in February 2013 for the Winter Carnival, we drove up from Central CT. We got a late start and didn't make it to the hotel until late but since we made the reservation with a credit card they held our reservation. I was really impressed with how simple valet parking was. We just parked the car, went in and they said they'd take care of it. Maybe thats the way valet is supposed to be but I've never had such a smooth experience before. When we needed to go all we had to do was call 10 minutes before we came down and the car was parked outside. Very convenient, I really recommend using valet and not parking yourself because while the garage is....kind of next door...the way the road is, you really have to go around the building in a circle to get to it. Its hard to explain but if you'd see it, you'd understand. Knowing me, I would have had a really hard time with it. I'm not embarassed to admit I wanted to stay in a chain hotel I was familiar with so I would be comfortable during this very cold weekend. I've stayed at several Courtyards in New England and liked them. My husband had been wanting to make this trip for ages, but i'm not a huge fan of being outside during the winter in CANADA for FUN. So I'm glad I had a nice place to stay in. It was extemely conveniently located also, so my outside exposure was kept to a minimum. Seriously people, I'm not like from the southern states either...I'm from Connecticut. It gets cold there, but nothing like what I experienced in Quebec. Do not go without snowpants and a hat. And many many other layers. Anyway, every employee I dealt with was extremely accodmodating and they all spoke English. I bought a few items at the little "convenience alcove" (not really a store, kind of a closet with a cooler full of Nutty Buddies and Lean Cuisine and a microwave with bowls of soup) and they just took my room # and off I went. I appreciated the ease of it. Also I had a hard time finding the answer to this before my trip-but there is a hot tub in this hotel. Its a small one, like you might find in someone's house but it is there-and its nice! Its next to the gym and was heaven after a freezing cold day.

Sheila K.

Yelp
Lovely intimate hotel. The staff were wonderful, and although the room was smaller than most American hotels, it was very inviting and comfortable.

TJ K.

Yelp
Hands down the nicest (albeit different) Marriott Courtyard I've ever stayed in. It was built in about 2003/2004 to compliment the Old City feeling, since it sits right outside the gates of QC Old City. So, it doesn't have a typical Courtyard feeling to it....which isn't a bad thing. It's much more European. The staff was friendly and helpful and the location is perfect, especially during Festival D'ete du Quebec if you want to be front and center for the free concert stage. We walked out the door and the stage is right there with the Old City just beyond it. What a fun place to be at this time of year!

Calvin S.

Yelp
Full points for location as it's right at Place d'Youville with access to Old Quebec. Full points also to the rooms and overall comfyness. Full points to the valet service as well, as we found it to be very efficient and friendly. Everything else, however, had areas where it can be improved. The free wifi in this hotel only covers the lobby, and the hotel rooms wifi have a $12.95 surcharge per 24 hours. You're not noted that until you input your last name and room number in the login page. The concierge service, while good in terms of caring for us, messed up our reservations as one of the rooms had only one bed, when we requested for two rooms and two beds each room. Since it was a long weekend and all the rooms were full, they were unable to get a second bed, therefore my aunts had to sleep on the same bed. Finally, the breakfast for this place was quite expensive considering the quality. It cost more to have breakfast in the hotel than most of the restaurants in Old Quebec, in fact it cost more than our lunch that day. Overall if you're not on a budget and like easy access to the touristy areas of Quebec City, this hotel is for you. I'm sure there are better selections if you want the whole free wifi/continental breakfast experience.

Ria B.

Yelp
When you enter the building it's not much, so you hope for some benefits such as room service or water. This hotel doesn't do any of this, horrible. They take full advantage of covid to not clean the rooms and do not compensate through any complimentary treats. As a platinum member who is loyal to Marriott, I have to rethink my future hotel stays.

Ben S.

Yelp
If you aren't looking for the unique quirks of a bed & breakfast, or you don't want to commit fully to a specific neighborhood to stay in within Quebec, this is a very solid option. The price isn't specifically cheap, but you'll be at the St. Jean gate entry to upper and lower Old Town, right on Place D'Youville, within a very pleasant walk of Battlefields Park and other areas of downtown. The concierge staff was impeccable and all the staff we encountered were friendly and eager to help. Our accommodations were up-to-date, comfortable, and came with a wonderful view of Old Town and the St. Lawrence. I would gladly stay here again in future returns to the city.

Cory W.

Yelp
Great hotel in old Quebec City. I'll be back! A ton of great restaurants within walking distance. This hotel pairs well with "Le Hobbit " restaurant.

Kevin W.

Yelp
Is it really that expensive or hard to have waffles or pancakes for breakfast? Hotels all over the world have them but if you ask for that here the chef gives you a dirty look then yells....well...you got to pay for that extra.... Okay...fine...but do you have to be so snooty? They closed their elite lounge....I was here before and we as elite members felt like we were a problem. I never complain. I don't take advantage of anything but this place is a bit too snooty and upright for me. They closed the lounge and gave me a ten dollar voucher for the BAR. So one night I order one drink.. he pours it and I give him a voucher and a tip. He then says he cannot accept the voucher for drinks. Really? Typical Quebec. Why give a voucher for the BAR.. and then tell me it is for the bar....drinks etc and then get snooty with me.

Taylor O.

Yelp
Probably the best chain hotel for visiting Old Quebec and surprisingly decent for a Courtyard Marriott. The only thing separating the hotel from the gates of the old city is a small skating rink, at the time decorated for Christmas with a metal Christmas tree light up in changing waves of light. The breakfast rate seemed too expensive so we ventured elsewhere not too far past the gates. There are two cozy fireplaces in the lobby and there are friendly staff including concierge through second shift which was super helpful and unexpected. We utilized their services several times. We had to push them a bit sometimes as the inclination is to send to typical tourist restaurants/bus tours and well... we have better taste than that. If you cross the highway the oldest grocery store in North America is nearby to stock your empty mini fridge. On the way is the SAQ. there's another SAQ in the Fairmont but this is closest. The rooms are typical Marriott: boring, senior citizen style but clean. Might be good for Carneval (the Hilton's the closest to the festival but this is a good compromise just down the hill towards the old city).

Alan A.

Yelp
This is one of the better Couryard Marriott Hotels. The location is great. It is located really close to the entrance of Old Quebec City. Not only is the location great, the hotel and rooms are very clean. Our room has a maybe a 40" to 42" flat screen TV, refridgerator, and a complimentary wi-fi connection that seems to be pretty good. Unfortunately, they don't provide a safe or microwave in the room. Valet parking is provided for an extra $20.00 per day. The front desk girl, whose name is Kim was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again, if I came back to Quebec City.

Chuck B.

Yelp
We stayed here for two nights this week and the service was fine. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the city and places to eat and see. Music festival was just starting and with a stage right outside the front door it was easy entertainment. The breakfast they served was decent and filling. The room was clean as well. I'd stay here again any time. It's a decent place to stay. Go for it!

Dan Y.

Yelp
Staff is beyond Friendly and very professional. Really great place. Rooms are very clean and comforting. And chef is wow. Didn't expect how great the food was prepared. A++ And you are in the center, walking distance to everything.

K B.

Yelp
Stayed here for five nights as a solo traveler and was really happy overall, primarily because of the location which I carefully chose and was delighted to find upon arrival that it's right at the nexus of multiple bus routes (I always take the local bus where I travel to get a flavor of things, which for Quebec City was interesting due to all the construction worker and engineer strikes!). You can buy your bus pass at the RTC location across the street or at Tabagie Jac and Jill a couple building's down if it's closed. You can catch the 21 bus (which takes you all through the upper and lower old town), the 801 express bus (down to Laurier shopping center) and the 807 express (down Rue St. Jean) all either right across the street in both directions or on the other side of the building, and I never waited more than about 10 minutes for the next bus which was fabulous. As for the room itself, I made sure to ask for a quiet location which I knew from the reviews and pictures would be staring at the nasty inner wall, but that was fine and it was nice and quiet in terms of external noise. There is quite a bit of low-key intra-noise that travels--in the bathroom I could hear adjoining bathroom muffled through the pipes, and I could hear the water in the pipes in the room at different times. The fan unit is horribly annoying and clanky--you definitely need ear plugs if going to use it. I also had a faint cigarette smell seep into room second day, and it smelled a little musty near the end, so definitely some odor transfer issues possible. When I showered the drain was super noisy, and there is no ventilation fan in the bathroom. Room service salad I ordered had chicken that was largely inedible from being cooked too long. Positives are the nice large room, excellent water pressure, and friendly and thorough daily room refreshing (and they honor do not disturb signs completely!). Staff all spoke very good English. My overall impression of this Marriott is it's not as full-service as other Marriott's and a little rough around the edges, but a clean and above-average place to stay when the room is not that important to you.

Ruben C.

Yelp
The staff here are amazing. We were so nervous being in a new place not speaking the language and the staff treated us like an old friend. They joked with us, gave excellent recommendations, and checked in constantly to see how we were doing. One of the most attentive experiences I've ever had.

Joe W.

Yelp
I stayed for work, so didn't really compare prices or shop around. Front desk was super friendly, and helpful. Room was quiet, and comfortable. Breakfast buffet is a bit pricey, but the food was and selection is excellent. I would stay here again

Yelp
Great location. Close to everything that you would like to see or visit while in Quebec City. Hotel is clean and staff is quite friendly. Morning continental breakfast is included if you are gold status or above. Valet parking is expensive but worth it considering you can take your car out anytime at one flat rate for one day.

Yelp
Really nice place, I must say I was treated very well. This hotel is in the center of everything, you have the old Quebec just a few steps. You can make your own tour starting there. The staff was very kind, they made their best to make me feel welcome. Everyday, every hour, a warm smile and the delight joy to help you. The bar has an excellent ambience, they treat you kindly. I remember that my mother and I returned freezing from the carnival and when we arrived they welcome us and immediately they offer us a warm cup of chocolate. It was a nice touch of hospitality from them. They have an excellent breakfast, I totally recommended their croissant, it's delicious. The rooms are comfortable, all of them have nice views of the city. The cleaning service is very respectful. I must say that this place is going to be my first stop every time I want to visit Quebec!! Congratulations for such a nice place, and I wishing to go again very soon!! Greets from Perú

Yelp
This Marriott is absolutely perfect. We just left a fantastic 5 day stay. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make our visit amazing. Always smiling, I have never encountered a nicer staff (and I travel frequently). The hotel itself is nicely decorated for Christmas. We enjoyed the double fireplaces in the lobby on a daily basis, something we didn't see in other hotels we stopped into. The concierge level breakfast was great. Our room had a perfect view overlooking the ice skating rink. Just the perfect visit! Can't wait to return! Thanks Marriott Quebec City!

Yelp
This Courtyard by Marriott is reasonably priced, clean, and in a fantastic location just outside the gates of the Old City. Staff were friendly and the rooms are nicely sized. That being said, the beds are SO. UNCOMFORTABLE. I'm usually not bothered by a firm mattress but I woke up with an aching back every morning. Also, $15 for breakfast seems a bit high -- we went to a local bakery down the street instead.

Yelp
This Marriott is located just outside the walls and was a perfect location to access the Old Town (Upper and Lower) and the restaurants along Rue St. Jean. The concierge--Xavier--gave excellent recommendations. The rooms were clean and well-appointed. This was much nicer than the typical Marriott Courtyard, and for the price I recommend staying here highly!

Yelp
This hotel is FABULOUS! I came in town for 6 hours and decided to setup shop in their lobby while in town for a work event down the street. Without hesitation, they treated me like a guest even though I wasn't even staying there. Just as an example, I mentioned that I needed to leave for the airport at 6:30. When I walked back from a quick bite to eat, a cab was waiting outside for me at 6:32 with my belongings already in the trunk and being watched over by a concierge. I hope I get to return and actually stay the night because this is hands down the best customer service I've ever received! Thank you, QC Marriott Downtown!!

Yelp
Traveled thru Quebec City at the end of May and stayed here. Very comfortable room. Very nice, helpful staff. They are in the middle of a remodel, so they had a meeting room set up with breakfast and their office was set up in a long room also. This hotel is very convenient to Old Quebec City, right outside the gate. The taxi ride was about $12 american money from the airport. I would highly recommend a stay here. When their remodel is complete, it looks like it will be very lovely.

Yelp
Location is perfect, right in the heart of Old Quebec City. Valet service was pretty good and the rooms were nice as well. WiFi isn't part of the service and you've gotta pay extra for it, most of the places provide free WiFi these days but it doesn't matter much to me. I would have still given them 4-stars but the reason for 2- star review is the bad service regarding the mess up with the beds in each room. We were 4 people and had reserved 2 rooms for 2 nights each. We had specifically requested 2 queen size beds in each room and even called ahead of time to confirm but we got a King bed in each room. The concierge services didn't help much and I showed them the confirmation email, they offered a rollover bed for each room because all of the other rooms were "booked" but the rollover beds were never provided. I expect the small hiccups while traveling but someone should try to fix the mistakes instead of ignoring them or at least try to provide a solution. That's bad service and we were disappointed, not going back to this place.

Yelp
This is the third time we have stayed here for extended nights. The staff is great. No free breakfast, but that did not matter as we like to go to Pallard down the street for their world famous pastries. Room was clean and always quiet. We will definitely go again. Stayed there three nights.

Yelp
We highly recommend the Marriott Downtown Quebec. The staff was 10 star, especially Sebastian, Christopher, David, Miguel. They went above and beyond in service, helpfulness and courtesy. The hotel was clean and centrally located. We would stay there again anytime. When visiting Quebec, the Marriott is our first choice
