"Rarely do the terms Queen Elizabeth and reptilian breeding ground appear in the same sentence, but at the Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park—inaugurated by Her Majesty in 1994—you'll find a notable exception. Of the countess features to recommend the place, from its riotous gardens to its serene teahouse, perhaps most fun are the residents of its blue iguana habitat—shimmering azure ambassadors who'll greet you on the paths (and occasionally, in the parking lot, where signs caution you to check for sleeping iguanas under your wheels). Other colorful characters to look out for: the emerald Grand Cayman parrots flecked with crimson (they like to frond-hop overhead) and the various aquatic birds in and around the flower-garden-adjacent lake."

Beautiful! Gorgeous! Absolutely stunning! I’m a sucker for plants, so I was in hog heaven walking around this botanical garden. So many unique plants and trees! And you get to see the blue iguana conservation area too! That was just as impressive as the garden. I highly recommend as part of your visit!

Finally got to see some orchids in bloom! Beautiful gardens and walking trails. The Blue iguanas are looking great. The conservation efforts are paying off. The Childrens area has a wonderful tower to see parrots flying above the tree tops.

Visiting the Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park was an enchanting experience! The garden is a haven of beauty and tranquility, offering an incredible variety of indigenous plant species. From vibrant flowers in full bloom to towering, palm trees, the diversity of flora was breathtaking. The pathways were well-maintained, making it easy to navigate, and the strategically placed benches provided the perfect spots to pause and soak in the serene surroundings. Highlights included the colour garden, where colorful butterflies danced around, which exuded peace and harmony. The blue iguanas were something to see as they basked in the sun. Whether you’re a plant enthusiast, a photographer, or just someone looking for a peaceful retreat, the Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park is a must-visit destination. I highly recommend it for families, couples, or even solo explorers. But, please don't forget to wear your bug spray or you'll get little love tags from mosquitoes to remind you of your visit. I can't wait to return in a different season to see how the landscape transforms! Rating: 5/5 Stars.

Nice botanical gardens to have a look around for a couple of hours, a fair few interesting trees and plants along with wildlife inc iguana sanctuary, wild iguana, the odd snake, turtles and parrots. Shop to by gifts from. Bit pricy though at $50 entry per person. So not really good value for money.

Well worth the drive to wonder around the grounds by following various paths. Watch out for Blue Iguana and visit the iguana recovery centre. Not no coffee or food so bring you own. Easy parking

Loved seeing all the blue iguanas here. We also saw lots of interesting plants and some birds. It's a well curated botanical garden. Definitely worth a stop.

Beautiful peaceful gardens with a blue iguana conservation site in the gardens Sweet little gift shop, restrooms “water closets” are available throughout the gardens and nature walk so everything is accessible and convenient

Disappointing. Blue iguana was cool and you can see many of them. That’s the only highlight. The rest was just a normal garden. Very difficult to get to. Front desk wasn’t friendly either.
