On the Grid : Queen Park

"Queen Park is a 1.1 acre park offering a quiet respite from the hectic city life of the rest of LA. This is a great spot for a picnic, for kids to spend all their energy and, interestingly, a great spot to learn a bit about growing vegetables." - Aero Collective

Yelp
This a nice, small family park. I came here on a Saturday for a family reunion. It's situated in a nice neighborhood in Inglewood. There isn't a parking lot just street parking. Despite not having a parking lot, parking was ample for our group. There are about 3 picnic tables, a community garden and a play area for the kids. This park is small but well maintained. There are about 3 majestic trees in park, which the kids enjoyed climbing. There is a couple of grills available for your use. Nice park if you just want to go to a nice quiet environment with beautiful surroundings.

Yelp
Absolute gem in Inglewood! Went for a community picnic! I loved the fresh herbs and veggies, free to take. Also loved the fresh green grass and small playground area that is close enough for me to see all of my children at once lol. Love it love it love it! Kids had a blast climbing in trees, running on the grass and enjoying the play area in general. Will be back soon.
