Amazing architecture and the surrounding park is tranquil. The main attraction of the place is the theater they host. There are 2 theater areas of 1000 sqm in seize each which can hold about 600 people per theater. All staff speak English and truly helpful and courteous.
Just next to the Turia gardens where people cycle and run most parts of the day. Last entrance time is at 2 PM. Tickets are sold at the entrance in Palau building, no pre-purchases required.

The Queen Sofia Palace of Arts is an architectural masterpiece and a highlight of the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia. 🌟 Its futuristic design is absolutely stunning — the flowing curves and bold structure make it one of the most striking buildings we’ve ever seen.
We visited during the day and were amazed by the way the white exterior gleamed under the sun, reflecting beautifully against the surrounding water. 🌊 In the evening, the building looks even more magical when lit up, creating a dramatic and unforgettable view. ✨
Even if you don’t attend a performance, it’s worth coming here just to walk around, take photos, and soak in the incredible atmosphere. The area is perfect for a scenic stroll, with plenty of places to pause and admire the views.
A true symbol of modern Valencia and a must-see for architecture lovers and travelers alike. 📸❤️

It is a very beautiful building - I can recommend the self guided audio tour. It takes about 1 hour and is great to listen and learn. I hab the chance to watch a rehearsal for a new opera - that was fun too.
Highly recommended

What an amazing structure, a true work of art. Entering it felt like stepping into the mouth of a whale, and I was genuinely moved by the experience. I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates architecture, construction, and artistic design. To me, it's a masterpiece📸

We were on holiday in Valencia and didn't attend a performance but went to enjoy the breathtaking architecture, and were not disappointed by the amazing building. What was disappointing 😞 was the lack of thought when it came to the rubbish 🗑 bins. The architect who designed the building will be pulling out his hair. Yup the human race produces rubbish granted but spend a few euros on building an area to keep the rubbish so it doesn't detract from the building itself.

A fantastic experience in this space as we saw the opera, Roberto Devereaux.
The acoustics in this space are fantastic, and not a bad seat in the house.
It was a little challenging to find as we got our directions turned around both ways.
A jewel to the arts!!!

Yelp
Never been inside, but the architecture is amazing! It resembles a gladiator hat and honestly one of the buildings that you WILL see for sure if you're driving around the area. Palau de les Arts is actually an building for the arts where they perform Opera. Surprising eh? (wow, I'm so Canadian) You would expect something shaped like a Gladiator's hat to be a museum of History or even Sciences, but, it's for art.
Also close to this area are the oceanographic and the science and art museum.

Yelp
The most complex, intriguing, and beautiful building in the Ciudad is the Palau which houses four area for theater, opera, ballet, and concerts. Calatrava's largest masterpiece at first glance looks like an alien ship has just docked in the water. Spherical, plumed, and futuristic, it's a memento to the future of progressive architecture.

Yelp
A must see destination stop, amazing architecture, photographic opportunity. Be prepared to walk alot, wear a good pair of walking shoes. Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia offers tours at 1100 and 1330 hours, well worth the admission price and time spent.

Yelp
Fantastic surreal surroundings for this state of art science musuem. The entire comlpex is amazing and the stuctural engineering and architechure is worth a visit even if you do not wish to visit the museum but just wish to wander around the botantical gardens and opera house. Breathtaking particularly at dusk. Popular with Valencian bridal couples having photographs taken. The science museum has 5 floors and is very interactive. All the signs are in Spanish and English and the exhibits range from Marvel comics to assembling a model of the human brain.

Yelp
This is a marvellous city within a city, a showplace of contemporary architecture by Calatrava.
There's something for everyone: a new opera house for the musically minded (and the fine old concert hall is almost opposite), an Imax cinema to thrill the family, the awesome science museum, the gardens around for walking and cycling, and last but not least, the Oceanografic, which is the largest aquarium in Europe and has regular dolphin shows to delight the children. Lots of moderately priced shops and restaurants nearby. Don't miss it, even if you're only in Valencia for a day.

Yelp
Amazing architecture! You can easily get their if you do the HopOnHopOff-Sightseeing Bus tour! It was the most complex and impressive thing we saw during the tour! It's worth to stop their and take some time for a walk.
