One viewing room was closed, so this trip was a little short. The smaller bronze busts artworks were intricate and creative! While there is disabled parking at the back of the venue it is still quite a walk back to the front of the venue to enter.

Great art gallery with really good and interesting exhibitions. At the time I was there, they had Sam Jinks and Helen Wright. Highly recommend!

Great showcase of local artists and Indigenous history. Extensive section dedicated to Indigenous crafts and way of living. Also a Chinese temple on site from the tin mining days. During our visit they featured the hyperreal works by Sam Jinks which were heart wrenching and eerie. Parking can be tricky around the area, but there are some spots across from the gallery.

It was FREE! I really enjoyed the exhibition of ‘Shape Shifting’ the art of Helen Wright so much so I even bought a t-shirt with her artwork with the little birds on the front!

Superb gallery & a credit to Launceston. We just visited the Michael McWilliams exhibition, very fortunate to see so many of his beautiful and amazing artworks together. Thank you to QVMAG & all who made this happen.

A great local art gallery highlighting a diversity of work from artists all around Australia. For me, the standouts were them highlighting local young talents and giving them a platform With no entrance fee and a welcoming environment, I'd encourage everyone to pop in and take an afternoon to embrace what this place has to offer. Donate if you can to support places like this; we need more of them

For all intents and purposes, this is a regional gallery. Most of the pieces are reasonably contemporary, or at most 20th Century. Two stories worth, displayed impeccably. The curator certainly knows their job! My wife and I did enjoy it and, given entrance is free, I do feel it's worth the visit.
