"A design-conscious hotel with 35 rooms in Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront. Royal and sumptuous, with purple accents and monogrammed robes. Guest rooms are decorated in a soothing palette of silver, gray, and taupe. Porcelain-tiled bathrooms have restored antique vanities and original artwork."

We stayed 4 nights at this hotel at the end of April. The hotel is the "brother" of the historic Victoria&Alfred Hotel, and even if it does not have a direct view of the sea (this is perhaps the only flaw), it is still very close to the waterfront (just on the other side of the road), and is finely furnished, I guess recently renovated. The rooms are very spacious and equipped with all comforts; the lobby and restaurant area are not very large, but very welcoming and well furnished. Super breakfasts, with various à la carte dishes and above all extremely kind staff. I would reccomend it.

We stayed in the Manor House at Queen Victoria four nights and it was an awesome experience. The location is perfect for an easy walk to the V & A Waterfront. Recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Cape Town.

A wonderful small hotel with wonderful staff. We stayed 5 nites in the Manor House. The 2nd floor room had fabulous views of the waterfront, the CBD and Table Mountain. The property is situated on a ridge above the V&A Waterfront. It is a quiet oasis close to the action. The property was very clean and had high quality food services. However, the top feature of this hotel is its staff. They are all so friendly and helpful. I want to give a special shoutout to the front desk staff working at noon on March 20. Our airport transfer (arranged elsewhere) did not show up. They made phone calls on our behalf and quickly arranged alternate transportation. Thank you so very much!

Came for New Year’s Eve because of the hotels close proximity to the V&A waterfront and I was not disappointed in my choice. Only a short 5 minute walk to the V&A. The hotel is beautiful and every single person I encountered was friendly and helpful. The staff are truly amazing. The rooms are spacious and immaculate. The bathroom had a large tub and separate large shower stall. All the usual bathroom amenities were available. WiFi was quick and there was a tv and safe in the room. I ordered a cheeseburger from room service and it was delicious. The prices were reasonable and it came up hot and quick. The breakfast was included and it was a small buffet area with the option to order fresh eggs, pancakes and breakfast meats etc. Everything I had was delicious. They also had fresh juices and smoothies. You won’t be disappointed if you stay here that’s for sure. I would have liked to stay another night but I had an early flight… Thanks for everything!

This is one of the best hotel experiences you will have in the waterfront, and the food is out of this world the grand piano paying background music during dinner with a view of table mountain a must in Cape Town.

Beautiful little hotel on the V&A waterfront. We stayed for a few days and had a great time. The service is very friendly. Our room was in great condition. The breakfast is lovely. We chose the hotel primarily for its proximity to the waterfront. It is literally across the road, so could not be better. Had a very pleasant stay and definitely can recommend it.

Great place to stay very central, rooms are excellent, staff make you feel very welcome and comfortable and nothing is too much trouble.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The two best qualities are the location (proximity to VA Waterfront) and the level of service from the staff. You can walk to the Waterfront in less than 3 minutes. The food and service were also great. Complimentary breakfast in the morning was offered and was high quality. We also had a drink at the bar before bed a few nights which was a pleasant atmosphere. They have a gym and spa on site for you to use if you wish. The gym is complimentary while the spa is extra. They are used to working with international tourists which helps them make you feel comfortable right away. The rooms were fine. Not my ideal style, but nevertheless, a very good hotel room.
