I’m genuinely disappointed with my recent stay at the Queen Victoria Hotel. As a 5-star property, I had high expectations for cleanliness and professionalism, but unfortunately, my experience did not reflect that standard.
This was an especially meaningful trip for me and my husband — our honeymoon — and we were looking forward to a memorable, luxurious experience. However, I was shocked to receive a bathrobe that had visible blood stains in two different areas. This is completely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one of this caliber.
I immediately reported the issue to the manager and handed the item to her, expecting that such a serious hygiene concern would be handled with urgency and care. Instead, her only response was, “Sorry, we will exchange it for you.” There was no genuine apology, no follow-up, and no reassurance that the matter would be investigated or prevented in the future.
This experience left us extremely disappointed and uncomfortable, especially during what was supposed to be a special and romantic time. I truly hope the management takes this feedback seriously and reevaluates their quality control and service standards — as this experience did not reflect the level of care expected from a 5-star establishment.
