Queens Beach Tourist Village

Such a beautiful place. This was our second visit and enjoyed it so much. Very clean modern cabin. The pool was sparkling and the cleanest I have seen a pool in ages. Staff so nice and obviously happy in their work. Grounds were immaculate. A bonus being close to the pub and bottle shop.

This was a 2nd return with our caravan. We had previously stayed back in 2001. We only want to approx 1 - 2 weeks as we like to travel around QLD rather than stay in one place. After our first visit, we wanted to return each year but, sadly, there were no vacancies. I mentioned this on their social media post and Lo and behold I had a call from the office within a couple of days. (This was in January 2024) and a site was arranged for us to visit for 1 week in August. Great service…|Queens Beach Tourist Village is a little gem. I consider it to be one of the best in Bowen.|Most of the sites have their own enclosed spots with lovely hedges. There are 2 pools, camp kitchen and BBQ areas. 3 spotlessly clean amenities blocks and beautifully kept grounds.|There is a very short walk to the local pub which offer excellent value meals, especially Senior lunches. A short walk to the beach and golf course. If you don’t want to drive into the centre of Bowen, there is a bus stop close to the village.|There are cabins as well. I haven’t stayed in one but they look very nice.

Omg this place was amazing. I can't say one bad word about this place. The water park was a huge hit for our son. The beds were comfy everything was clean and the owners are gorgeous 😍 if you want a great place to stay in a cabin, caravan and spend time with your family this place is it. The pub is also a 2 minute walk so awesome.

The manager Melanie was extremely rude to me. I have traveled all over the world and have never been treated the way she treated me. They made a mistake on the rate for the room I was staying in, I booked and paid on booking.com, they checked me in, everything was fine but the next day she was trying to blame me for it, called me dishonest, demanded I paid the difference or leave. This was their mistake, I just wanted my money back and to cancel the rest of the booking but she wasn’t going to give it to me. They entered the room took my belongings and wouldn't give them back, called the police which was absolutely ridiculous and out of line, because I am a big male she implied to the police that she was in a threatening situation. I am dumbfounded that this happened and to think she is the manager. I am getting my money back thanks to the police but now never allowed to enter the premises again. Good job Queens Beach Tourist Village, if I was you I would get a new manager. I wouldn’t recommend anyone ever staying here, this is not how you run a business. Disgusting the way I was treated.

I was so impressed with Queens Beach Tourist Village I had to leave a review ! We stayed in our caravan for two weeks and I couldn’t be happier ! The amenities were spotless , they provided bin collected everyday , the common area for everyone was perfect . Staff were super lovely and helpful . Has everything you need for a great stay !

Thank you Jenny for providing such a beautiful place to stay. Hubby and I have enjoyed our time in Bowen immensely and your friendly manner on the phone and in person (along with Marion), have made it a destination to remember. We are a 12.5m coach and we had no trouble “fitting in”. I used the showers every night and I just loved them including the radio playing whilst in there (good to cover any “noises” whilst using the toilet!) The pools were a God send as it was quite warm AND I was grateful for a haircut from Kris/Chris whilst I was there (excellent at her job). We got around town on our electric scooters and found Horseshoe Bay, the Yacht Club and Shopping areas very accessible. A must is the cinema just down the road - an icon you don’t want to miss. Highly recommend 🤩

Beautiful location in a beautiful community... Clean cabins , perfect ..pillows where a bit hard to get comfortable.. very clean otherwise.. Stayed in cabin 11 ... was uncomfortable 😣 couldn't sleep 😪 twice two nights .. Co worker experienced same experience in the proximity.. I say this because..it's only a small request to ask for a sage smoking or prayer 🙏🏿... Other wise 🦉 Bowen is a beautiful ❤️ place to holiday

No where near the beach(it's way further than 250m) The air cons don't work properly, couldn't sleep. They give you 1 very thin blanket that is very uncomfortable. The front door wouldn't lock. The keys they give me were bent. Random things fall off the walls in the middle of the night causing alarm. The bed was full of short black curly hairs and dirt. Under the sheet on the mattress there was dirt. Was a nightmare week, wouldn't recommend. The owners make out like this isn't normal but that's how they deal with criticism, by deflecting and gaslighting. It's why they will never get better.
