Queen's Park

Large and very scenic park, managed by the City of London, with varied open and wooded areas and a cafe, two toilets, and plenty of recreational activities.

Amazing local park, with a lots of space for activities, mini zoo, coffee shop and sport areas as tennis courts and etc.. Very well maintained! One of my favourite parks in London! ✨

The toilets were closed at 3:30pn on Saturday, the 15th of November 2025. The Queens Park café area and also the toilets next to the children’s playground was closed and had the shutters down at 3:30pm . I use this park because they have toilets and when you have a medical condition it is important you have access to toilets that you have research that will be available.it is extremely concerning that the toilets are closed an hour before the park closes.. If the café is open till 430pm and they are serving food and drinks, the toilets attached to the café should be opened until the café closes. The staff in the café stated it was nothing to do with them. They were very rude and said it would be the staff that wear green in the park that would be responsible. I couldn’t see anyone around at 3:30 pm that was visible. The park itself is lovely. I have been using this part for over 40 years. It is extremely concerning that the toilets are not opened and available when you need to use them.

Closes too early and opens too late. On the 9th of October they close at 18:00-when it’s still light outside. In the height of the summer, when we had a heatwave, it was already hot and sunny at 7:30-beautiful morning to excercise in the park and walk the dog before +30c heat, but the park was closed. But in October it opens at 7am. Make it make sense! What’s the point of the green space that cannot be used within reasonable hours? With these hours,it’s more of a fancy private garden than a public park.

Interesting park with varying recreational facilities. For adults there's a fun putting green. Children have two play parks, both of which feature wooden pole swing stands, climbing frames, picnic benches, and area dividing fences also provide respite seating. The kids also have a sloping edge paddling pool which l assume will be filled with water when it's warmer. There's a nice looking cafe l didn't queue by because l had brought food with me. My companions who did go for drinks complained that th sign saying cards only was far too small so they came back empty handed and very disgruntled. Please vendors make your signage large enough for seniors and families to be able to read from 3 or 4 yards away. Plenty of mature trees provide shade for picnics. At th moment there is perhaps less colour to enjoy than in more manicured parks in boroughs like Westminster where more money is spent on shrubbery. The daffodil field though promises to be epic when all the blooms open. It's been a bit too cold for many plants to emerge.

Great Park with open air cinema during summer (July to September). We are greatly enjoying our walks there. Walking distance from areas like Maida Vale or Saint John's Wood. Lots of space for picnic. Only downside are the opening hours. Closes quite early.

An impressive playground/paddling pool, tennis courts, outdoor gym and mini-golf amongst the amenities in this well maintained medium-sized park owned and managed by The City of London. A bandstand and some scattered veteran trees predating the park (1887) add to the pleasant ambiance here.

Beautiful park in central London! Walking here was very relaxing. It’s the perfect place for a peaceful walk or run. The place is dog friendly. There are seats available and the toilets are close to the kids’ playground. There’s also a nice bar where warming up during the cold season.

My family LOVES this park! Why? 1. The zip line in the kids playground area. 2. The petting zoo...small and kitschy, but very cute. 3. The café. See my review separately, but this is a great place to take a breather after all of the activities. 4. Golf!! Yes, there is a nice little 9-hole pitch and put course with rental clubs and balls. My wife, two sons (7 and 12 years) and I all had a great time playing. 5. Lots of fields. We played loads of football (soccer) while we were there. 6. Wading pool. We never used it, but it seems like lots of children love it when the weather is warm. 7. Table tennis!! They have two tables. Bring your own paddles and balls or rent from the golf shack. We played Ping-Pong for hours. Be prepared to wait your turn on weekends. They get lots of use. This is one of the best kept secrets in London!!!

I'm so lucky to have so many open spaces close to where I live. Queens Park is within walking distance, and a great place to visit during the summer months. This park comes under the City of London park group. Like Primrose Hill it is nowhere near the city, so I can't understand the connection. It is larger than it looks as from the road it looks more like a large urban square. It has plent of facilities, including a paddling pool, tennis courts, a band stand, play ground with sand pit and probably most surprising; it has a 9 hole 'Pitch and Putt' golf course. It aslo has a cafe in the centre, with plenty of outside seating available, both in the sun and shade. They do not allow cycling in the park, nor people having a BBQ. This park aslo holds festivals during the summer months. It can get really busy during the summer if the weather is nice, especially when the schools break out. I would recommend anyone to pay it a visit, especially if the weather is nice.

This is a standard tube station in zone 2. It's on the bakerloo line and overground from Watford Junction to Euston. On the southbound platforms there is a small coffee shop. In a good location with a lot of shops, take-aways, cafes etc nearby. A lot of tubes from central do stop here as their final destination and start from here as there is a small depot.

Queen's Park Station has the Bakerloo line and the London Overground run through it. It is a well staffed station and the platform staff are actually very helpful. I always see them telling people which platform the next train is arriving on even when people don't ask but are waiting on a platform where the next train won't be coming for ages. Late at night this station is not the nicest station to be waiting for a train at especially the Overground which only comes every 20 minutes, but there are still staff around late at night but not many. One door to the station has been boarded up for months now for some reason which is a bit annoying but also just makes the station look tatty so it would be nice if they fixed this.
