Google
For our roadtrip from GA to TX along US 278, I needed to find some wine tasting options in addition to the many breweries I had planned! Queen's Reward was one of the few along the way in MS, so I put it on our itinerary. It did not disappoint. Very cute little respite from our travels. The "wine" is definitely different, but as long as you're not trying to compare it to your favorite Napa Cabs, you will truly enjoy this honey-based wine. We found a couple of wines that we really liked which can be consumed as-is or as a mixer. Definitely looking forward to sharing our treats with our daughter and son-in-law when we arrive in Austin! Cute atmosphere and very friendly and knowledgeable hostess (Sallie??). 100% recommend as a stop on your travels or for an afternoon treat.

Had the privilege of getting to spend time at the Queen’s Reward Meadery at a graduation celebration held there for a good friend. The drinks were incredible and reasonably priced. Really enjoyed our time, and if we lived in the area we’d be regulars! Can highly recommend!

This little place is amazing! My friends & I were here a few weeks ago & the experience was wonderful. Our server was great, the day was beautiful, & the wine tasting was very well spaced out. Staff that day all were wonderful & the facility was very clean. I highly recommend them & hope they continue to be successful. I look forward to going back sometime as I live out of state.

I love this place! I’ve been three times and I definitely plan to keep going back! My first time here was for my bachelorette! I’ve always wanted to do a wine tasting and it exceeded my expectations! We got to try I believe 6 different wines! We also ordered the small charcuterie board, which we all loved!! My favorite wines we got to try were Chocolate Covered Cherry, Rubee, and Delta Gold! I also took my mother-in-law here for a wine tasting for her birthday, and to our surprise you can get a free wine tasting on your birthday! It was $15 to try 6 wines and you also get a free wine glass! If you are wanting to hang out with friends, or just experience a wine tasting, this is the perfect place!

We stopped by the Queen’s Reward Meadery on our way from Kansas City, Mo to Gulf Shores. The service (Chase) was amazing and personable. The variety of meads were delicious. My favorites were Pucker Up, Blackberry, and the Blueberry slushy!

Google
This was such a delightful experience! My first time at a Meadery & I thoroughly enjoyed it. We did a tasting which included 6 wines from dry to sweet. Blackberry & Delta Gold are my absolute favorites. At the end of the tasting you get to choose a keepsake wine glass as a souvenir.😍 The venue was lovely & our attendant, very kind & knowledgeable. We will surely return to enjoy again!

Google
Meaderies are top on our list of places to visit on our travels. Queen's Reward was a great find. Even though the it was a cold night with rain pouring down, the place was packed with regulars. People hanging our gaming seems to be the thing here. The server staff was very knowledgeable and informative about the products. We even were given a quick peek at the production facility - very nice, very clean and modern operations area. The Habanero was advertised as a special flavor that is "hot" - however we discovered Tupelo "hot" isn't Tucson "hot" (where we're from). It was delish just the same. We picked up a couple bottles to take home. We recommend a visit here.

Excellent mead, excellent staff. It's my second visit, and it's been great both times. The new Chocolate Covered Cherry flavor is the bee's knees. Update: My wife and I have been back several times since my original review. It's been great every time. They rotate out several of their offerings, so it's not the same old flavors every time. They have delicious seasonal meads. This last time, with trepidation, brought our two Littles (2 & 4). It was great. Their outside seating has plenty of room, shade, and a few lawn games. My kids ran and played and annoyed the other patrons for several hours. We always get the tasting every time and recommend it for any visitor, as well, unless you already know exactly what you want. It's a great way to experience all of what they have to offer.

Yelp
A hidden gem when visiting Tupelo. Modern, cozy and offering both tastings and bottles to purchase. Super knowledgeable staff, explaining each types of mead (we did tasting) made me like the mead even though I'm not a fan of honey at all. My favorites were with berries and on the more sour side. Definitely worth a visit!

Ty M.

Yelp
We stop by Queen's Reward anytime we are in Tupelo. Pssst..there's technically no open container law in Mississippi, so you can take a slushy to go!

Terrie P.

Yelp
We were passing through Tupelo on our way home from Starkville ball games. It's New Year's Eve, so it seemed like a good idea to ring out the old at a meadery. We've been to lots of meaderies and they're usually pretty low-budget hole-in-the-wall places. But Queen's was really cute, lots of seating in a bright, airy tasting room complete with garage doors that open to the outside, picnic tables, cornhole, Jenga, lots of fun options. The meads were delicious - they're often sweet (it is "honey wine", after all) but there were dry options that were really wonderful. We had a tasting of 6, ranging from dry to sweet, and went home with two commemorative glasses. A really nice break in our day!

Lisa P.

Yelp
Love! This place is so awesome!! We tasted 4 different types of honey mead and purchased 4 bottles. They are delicious! The service was excellent and the ambiance was very pleasant! We also tried a pomegranate slushy and it was sooo good!

Alyssa B.

Yelp
Love coming here with my coworkers after work. I like their extended tasting because it comes with the slushy sampler and a free mead glass! I always buy two bottles to take home with me back to Wisconsin. The service is always great and the place is nicely decorated and very cute. I've had the same girl serve us twice and she has remembered us each time!

Yelp
Spur of the moment stop on a Tupelo exploration day, we grabbed a bite to eat down the street at Sweet Tea and Biscuits. Overall super cute establishment, tasteful decorated with beeautiful accents. We did a tasting and purchased some items we loved and want to share with others. Taking Mississippi honey to California and some mead to Abbeville, MS. You get a complimentary wineglass with each tasting. Service was excellent, both friendly and knowledgeable. This is a must stop and see for the area. Date night/day, girls trip or just trying something new!

Amber S.

Yelp
My parents had moved to the area during the pandemic and hadn't explored much. When I went to visit we stopped here for a tasting at the end of the day. The tasting was amazing and we ended up leaving with a couple cases of mead, plus a pitcher of slush. I do wish I had something like this closer to my home. I'll definitely be stopping here when I visit again.

Erin W.

Yelp
Wow, what a treat! Have never had mead and not only had several samples, got a great education on the drink. Thanks to Ann Louren (sp?) behind the bar.

Tori D.

Yelp
How do I even start? Pretty sure she said her name was Anna Lauren. Doesn't matter because she's small and pretty and blonde and AMAZING. She knew what she was talking about, she knew what to recommend, she damn sure knew how to put a charcuterie board together, and you can tell that she likes her job. Excellent food, super cute place, ridiculously tasty wines, and friendly staff. 10/10

Christine L.

Yelp
Really awesome vibe and place to hangout for live music, games, an outdoor area and inside mead tasty. Great food and REALLY tasty mead.

Richard T.

Yelp
Driving through MS, my wife and I popped in. More out of curiosity than anything else, as neither of us knew much about mead. What a delight! We did a sampling, learned about the mead making process, and did a tour of the production area. Upscale, but casual vibe, one we would make a regular visit to if we lived in the area. Went home with several bottles of our favorites to share with friends. A must stop if we are ever in the area again.

Karlee K.

Yelp
Stopped in on a Friday evening to do a mead tasting. The guy that served us was very informative and nice. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. For starters the place is so cute and uniquely decorated. I had never had mead before, but it was an absolute delight. We did the extended tasting which included several meads (I forget the exact number lol) and four of the slushy drinks. I liked every single thing we tasted. Even the ones I was sure I wouldn't. I ended up taking home a bottle of the chocolate covered cherry! Stop in and see these guys and buy some delicious mead. You will not regret it!

Emma S.

Yelp
This place was so much fun!! We did the premium tasting which included 10 different meads and some mead slushees for like $35! The tastings were more like 1/3 glass, so make sure to have a DD if you aren't planning to stay a while. The staff was super informative and made it a great experience. Tons of beautiful outdoor space and games to play. I couldn't recommend more!

Michael R.

Yelp
This was,bar none, the best mead we've ever had. We left with an assorted case if that tells you anything. They have a great mix of dry and sweet meads, but none of it tastes like medicine as if often the case. Aside from the quality of the mead the service is second to none. Brooks shared with us family stories of how the meadery came to exist through the course of our tasting and was happy to answer all of our questions, lead us on a tour, and recommend other places to visit while in Tupelo. In terms of the mead the rubee and pucker up were our favorites, but all are exceptional. This is a must stop for whatever length of time you are in the Tupelo area. You will not be disappointed.

Natasha M.

Yelp
I found Queen's Reward by doing a Google search for "breweries near me" when I was in Tupelo for an overnight trip. I wasn't too familiar with meads before I arrived, but that quickly changed. The meadmaker was very professional and gave us the history of mead and of the business. I asked if they had food and he told me that he could make us a charcuterie board. Since I indicated it was our first time, he offered a tasting. The tasting samples were in small plastic cups and were presented from driest to sweet. Once we tried all the meads, he offered us slushee samples. Then he offered full sizes of the slushees and told us the blueberry margarita and shake combo was best. By then, the charcuterie board was ready and the slushees soon followed. The slushees were the absolute best drink that I've had. The charcuterie board was well made and has garnered a lot of likes on my Instagram page. 2 thumbs up. Don't miss out on trying this!

Yelp
First time customer today. Very friendly employees and a welcoming atmosphere. We had a great time with our mead tasting. The slushes were my fave, fantastic! My favorite mead was the delta dry! Thanks for the fun new experience for me today. I plan to return and tell my friends and family!

Mark K.

Yelp
Always seems like we stop here when we're around the Tupelo area for some fantastic flights and snacks! Highly recommend their charcuterie board!

Candida M.

Yelp
We found this amazing place on our road trip from Oklahoma to St. Petersburg, Fl. It was a pleasant surprise. We did a tasting and picked up a couple of bottles. There is something for everyone, if you enjoy mead. Dry to sweet. Get a nice wine glass with your tasting. Everyone at the meadery, especially our server, were friendly and answered our questions. Highly recommended!

Jim S.

Yelp
An amazing place, not a stuffy winery, but a very nice place to get together with family or friends. The mead is some pretty good stuff. If you've never had honey mead, you definitely should try it. The berry slushy was my favorite! Will definitely be back next time we're in town.

Neal M.

Yelp
Y'all. This place is so dang sweet. I ain't talking honey sweet neither. The decor is so clean and bright. It reminded me of being in Austin. The staff was super professional and friendly too! I had a mead flight and holy cow. It was an educational experience. They were all so delicious in their own right. The best ones were the ones I thought I wouldn't enjoy. What a nice little detour or destination.

Eric J.

Yelp
We had an amazing time at the Meadery. Very well done. Would like to back in the summer after all the covid crap is over.

Nicholas A.

Yelp
Ive been to a lot of breweries, but this was my first time trying mead and going to a meadery. Marie was well educated and professional, and even took us on a tour of the meadery. the customer service and quality of the mead was superb, and second to none. Marie was great at explaining each mead during the tasting, and well versed on the fermenting process and history of the meadery. I feel I will just be disappointed if I go anywhere else. luckily Marie informed me they ship to Florida, since I'm not from here, so I'll be good to go. Marie and the Queen's Reward set the bar extremely high when it comes to mead.

Kelli G.

Yelp
Jessica is the best! She gave us her honest opinion on each drink and it was true. The tasting is the greatest option with 6 different drinks and a slushee! She is absolutely the best. Would do it again soon!

Kari M.

Yelp
This is my favorite place to visit when on travel in Tupelo! Really wish there was a location in San Diego. The scarlet noir is delicious and not too sweet.

Colette R.

Yelp
I rarely do reviews, howeeverI had an amazing experience at Queens Reward Meadery and just had to post. We were in from Chicago and this place was highly recommended to us. We had so much fun meeting other guests and especially the staff. They were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about mead - something we had never tried. Made the experience totally fun. We had a sketchy Uber ride out to the Meadery and the staff completely took care of us on the way home. Something I never would have expected but was completely grateful for. I cannot recommend it enough!

Marie P.

Yelp
Mississippi has a meadery!!! It's a well hidden gem but it shouldn't be hidden forever. People need to see this place and experience it for themselves. With something to capture the palate no matter the preference, it's an experience you don't want to miss. The building is very chic/ modern but rustic enough to keep it casual comfortable. Their staff are all well versed on their product and you can tell they love what they do. They are excited to share it with everyone who walks through the door. The nearest winery/ meadery is about 5 hours away. Their honey wine is produced and bottled right here in Tupelo mississippi!!

Whitney K.

Yelp
Tasting is $10.00! We loved the mead slush, as well as the little crackers they provide for palate cleansing. All of the staff members are so friendly and helpful! I've been back a few times to purchase wine, and it's always a pleasant and fast experience! Also, I love the decor and the ambiance at this place. It's just a really nice place to spend your evening. They even provide an ipad for you to order your dinner, or you can bring dinner in! I have two kids that I had brought with me, and there was even something for them! Retro glass bottle sodas! They couldn't have been more excited! I will be back again!

Conner B.

Yelp
HOLY. MOLEY!!!!! This is easily one of the coolest places I have ever been to. The friends have recommended we go had been a couple times and were pretty excited about going back, and it's obvious why they were. The wine was amazing. Surprisingly I liked their driest option, but I suppose since it's made based with honey, it wasn't completely dry. But don't take it from me, the employees that work there are more than knowledgeable on helping you make your decisions when trying the mead. Especially this white feller with a cool hair cut, nicest guy I've met in a while! If it's your first time there, you're definitely going to want to go with the sampling. I believe it was 5 meads and their frozen option as well, helluva deal! Plus you get to pick out a wine glass to take home with you. I will say, their wine/mead is pretty strong, but in the best way possible. Each and every time I'm back to Tupelo I will be making a special trip to leave with no less than two bottles to take back to Laurel with me. My wife will probably bring home closer to six. If I had to guess, this place is going to blow up in publicity. The lady that makes this stuff is literally making liquid GOLD (I'm also betting that she is going to make a lotttt of money by the time she is done). No lie, go try this place. Can't brag on it enough! Easy 5 star review

NaShea W.

Yelp
Fantastic place. First time I had ever had mead. Super cute. The guy who did our tasting was the owners son. I wished we would have gotten there earlier for the food truck outside, but that was our fault. We are not local to the meadery, but if we were closer, I think this would be spot we frequent often.

Alan-Michael W.

Yelp
Meads underappreciated. I haven't been able to find good mead around here if at all considering that the Mississippi alcohol Bureau that an approved but one other kind. Lovely owners and a lovely place. I try to make it at least once a month. I'm not a big drinker but it's pretty great

Anna B.

Yelp
I've been here twice and it's always a great experience. We did the taste test and learned new things while we drank!

Nicole R.

Yelp
This place is the literally The Bee's Knee!! Great mead, great service and super cute decor. This place exceeded expectations and is a local gem! If you're thinking about a road trip to Tupelo driving here just for the Mead and atmosphere is totally worth it!!

Zachery M.

Yelp
Nice place! Never had Mead before. Bought myself a case to take back to Texas and share with my friends and family. If you're visiting or passing through Tupelo check this place out.

Janis S.

Yelp
First time trying mead and Mitchell made it such a fun experience for us! He is very knowledgeable and we walked away hoping we can find something like this at home in Idaho! Super cute and clean tasting room. Mitchell and his serving mate were masked up and even introduced us to the in-house made hand sanitizer! Ended up taking home a half case of mead and a gallon of frozen slushy. Wished we lived closer but SO glad we stopped to visit!

kerry c.

Yelp
This place is the best!! No where else in Tupelo has such a modern and sophisticated atmosphere. Love!

Kristin W.

Yelp
A unique experience. Honey "wine" is best description. Very tasty. Go for a tasting and bring a friend so you can try all the flavors. Don't miss out on tasting the slushee. Owner was very friendly. Looking forward to sipping my mead this summer by the pool.

Jeff R.

Yelp
I have no superlatives better than those of the other reviewers, so my own review here is this: the other 5 star reviews are diverse, glowing and correct. This is a very special place and business that's a surprise only because it is truly excellent and in a sustained way. Highly recommended.

Courtney C.

Yelp
Came here with friends for a mead tasting, and we were not disappointed! Katie took AMAZING care of us! Unfortunately, we had to leave before we got to do more than sample the wine slashes, but I definitely want to go back next time I'm in Tupelo!

Summer B.

Yelp
Amazing find in Tupelo, MS! Has such an upscale feel and friendly people. Stopped in and ended up talking to one of the owners for an hour after going to buy one of their products to take to some friends who hadn't tried it. I can see this become a hangout for people in the area and so glad I stumbled across this area
