Queen's Terrace Café

Stopped for drinks after our Parliament House tour – hands down the best coffee we’ve had in Canberra so far. The kids couldn’t stop raving about their iced drinks! The table service was a nice touch and made for a more relaxing experience. Despite the café being busy, the staff were efficient and in control. The space felt warm and inviting, with a family-friendly atmosphere and great ambiance. There was also a good selection of snacks and light bites, which rounded out the visit nicely. We’ll definitely be back!

Had a light lunch after visiting the Parliament. Has indoor and outdoor seating on the terrace, with great views & ambience. Had lamb sausage roll, pumpkin feta frittata, bowl of chips, macadamia slice, cappuccino. Food was tasty & reasonably priced ($33.50 total) compared to the location. Menu has variety of options including a high tea. Very popular place.

We had some breakfast here. Coffee was fine. Service and staff is good. But the food was burnt and tasted bitter. The bacon was cooked terribly.🙁 The avocado toast was not great either .🙁

Squid were so crunchy and yummy, using with cream making it more delicious. French fries were also fresh and crunchy. Hot chocolate and mocha were also good. Beautiful scene from Parliament House looking toward Ainslie Mountain. There were also inside room with luxury decoration. là

Queen's Terrace Cafe is lovely and I went there today for the first time (in a very long time). The food was great prices and I got a Long Black Coffee and the Open Bagel. I was very happy and it was fresh and well put together. I saw other people too buy incredible items that I want to try next time. Great spot and highly recommended for when one visits Parliament house!

Great food, great coffee, great service and great atmosphere. Prices are Ok just like a normal cafe. Clean toilets and very clean all around.

Certainly upscale but really more of a cafeteria. If you want high tea, you have to book it ahead of time. All the pieces are well done, just not the high tea I wanted.

It was lovely to be able to dine at the Terrace at Parliament House. The pie special with accompanying chips and salad were a delicious combination. The kids meals checked the boxes and it’s interesting to note a healthy 4-5star health rated dessert with the kids meal.

Great place to grab a bite to eat. We got lunch specials, which we very tasty. We had fish and chips, cream of mushroom soup and an almond pie and capuchino. They also have a great outside seatings :) It was a great break after the tour of Parliament House with a nice view :) Recommend! Cheers :)

This is a busy cafe located inside of the Parliament House. It offers nice views (if lucky to take one of the window's table!). The cafe has a great outside area, good for the nice days, and offer good menu options.I found the service poor though.

We had the High Tea at the cafe today. The staff were just lovely and very accommodatino. The food was delicious, made with many different Australian native bush flavours. Strongly recommend a visit.
