The Queenstown park boutique hotel was a 10/10 experience!! The staff were some of the loveliest people we have met here in Queenstown and as two 18 year old solo travellers they made us feel safe and welcomed. The rooms were impeccable and each day we came back to freshly made beds and warm towels. We had complimentary breakfast and drinks each day which both had a warm friendly atmosphere. One of the best parts was how comfortable the beds were. Though that was dangerous after a long day of snowboarding. Thank you to all of the lovely staff for making this experience one to remember.

One of the best, if not the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. Warm, attentive, and incredibly helpful, they quickly became a highlight of our stay, and after 12 days, they felt like family!||The location was unbeatable - everything we needed was just a short walk away. Our room was spacious and thoughtfully designed, and we especially appreciated the dedicated drying room for our ski gear and the complimentary bikes for exploring the area.||The daily canapé hour was such a lovely and memorable touch. It made each evening feel just a little more special.||We honestly didn’t want to leave, and I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Queenstown. Thank you again for such a wonderful stay, we’ll absolutely be back!

This hotel is terrific. They offer breakfast service which is really nice as well as a cocktail hour with music, wine and snacks in the evening. We appreciated the location -- it was a quick walk into town. The staff was really enjoyable and helpful when it came to restaurant suggestions as well.

We loved our stay at the Queenstown Park Boutique Hotel. Our room, a Remarkable Room, was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the hotel's convenient location-a very quick 5 minute walk to the town center but far enough to feel peaceful and private, even during the high season (we stayed over Christmas-New Years week). We also enjoyed the nightly happy hour in the lobby. The team at the hotel was fantastic and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and help us out, including arranging breakfasts for us on mornings we had to get a very early start, prior to the set breakfast time. We would definitely stay again if we are back in Queenstown.

This is one of our favourite hotels! It has a warm, cosy feel, with a family vibe as the staff learn your names and are always welcoming and chatty. A delicious breakfast, which is included, as well as a canapé hour with drinks and yummy canape which are free. We had a spacious room overlooking the park, very comfy bed, and lovely bathroom with a bath. We have stayed here many times, and will definitely be back. It is a fantastic location, with a short walking distance to town, and they organised a rental car for us through Touchdown Rentals.

We had a fantastic experience at Queenstown Park Boutique Hotel: the rooms and hotel were luxurious, it’s in an excellent location at a short walk to the centre of Queenstown, the breakfast is excellent, but best of all were the staff who were so wonderful and hospitable. We were travelling with a number of kids which is never easy but really appreciated how accomodating the staff were to make our stay comfortable. Special shout out to Cam, Diego and Ken!

This is the best accommodation alternative when visiting Queenstown: well located, it is at walking distance from all the points of interest; and it is also in a very quiet neighborhood. Rooms are great and very comfortable. Finally, guest relations team is fantastic and makes you feel at home (special kudos to Diego)

Yelp
When I travel the important categories for me include location, comfort, staff, value, and amenities. QPB gets a 10/10 from me hands down! Location: out of bustling town but very fast ( beautiful walk to town). Comfort: room was very large, very clean with lovely outdoor area. Loved that part was flooring and not all carpeting. Loved kitchenette ( microwave, mini fridge, sink, and stove top). Value: pricey but worth it. Amenities: breakfast prepared in open kitchen. Interesting, delicious breakfast alternatives. Pancakes, porridge, eggs, grab and go, coffee, multiple juices. Bikes first come first serve (amazing) E-bike and mountain. Laundry: speaks for itself. Parking: free and covered. Very much appreciated. Use of yoga mat and block free for the asking!!! Staff: put every other comment aside and let me tell you after 4 weeks in NZ and multiple hotels-QPB hands down , had the most engaging, helpful staff I encountered. Not just one member -EVERY employee from check in to check out and every encounter in between. They weren't just making busy talk. They went above and beyond engaging with every guest ( by name) and check in on you often seeing if there was anyway they could make your stay/day better. I've plenty of stays with lovely employees but QPB was just special. Please give them a try if you're lucky enough to find yourself in Queenstown. Thanks guys! Miss you already :)

Yelp
When my husband and I arrived, just seeing the lobby I thought to myself "dang, I did good!". The hotel was so cozy and beautiful, and I love that it was small. Something either I didn't realize when booking, or forgot, was that they offer free breakfast. I am not just talking continental. They have that, then offer you a menu of about 5 meals that you can pick to have made fresh for you and customize it to your liking. Very filling and delicious. There was also *surprise* happy hour from 6-7! Beer and wine. It was nice to sit in front of their cozy fire and chitchat with other guests while enjoying generous pours. Overall this hotel was excellent! Everything was within walking distance. The room was SO beautiful and big. The views were lovely and I just couldn't get enough of the bathroom- the ceiling was a skylight- a giant window letting natural light in and the floors were heated. My only complaints were that all the buttons for the light switches were hard to figure out, the noise from the outside road (and the drunks yelling at night as they walked by) would wake me and there were no USB plugs in the room. The alarm clock had 2, but for whatever reason would beep constantly when plugged in. We couldn't stand the beeping so we unplugged it. We tried resetting the clock and everything. When we looked up the clock online for a fix, it said it was a known issue. Hmmmm Other than those minor things it was perfect- even cake balls waiting in our room upon our arrival! Oh! And the amenities were locally made and smelled awesome!

Yelp
We stayed here for a few days while visiting Queenstown. Of all the hotels we stayed at on our 2+ week trip, this was probably the nicest. It's a fairly small hotel, but the rooms are spacious and very modern. Generally, I don't care too much about interior design, but I have to admit our room looked really cool. We arrived around 7 and the hotel's happy hour (with free drinks and snacks) was wrapping up. The concierge checked us in and showed us to our room. It was clear they really care about their customers. He also told us we would get a free breakfast every morning; this is the only hotel that provided one our entire trip. The breakfast wasn't your typical hotel continental breakfast either. There was a small buffet, but there was a cook who would make sausage, bacon, eggs, omelets, or whatever you wanted. Overall the breakfast was great. Anyway, the room itself was great. You walk in and there's a bathroom on the right. But before you get to it, there is a small fridge and sink. The bathroom itself was rather unique; one wall was clear glass that would allow you to see into the main part of the room (there was a shade you could lower so you couldn't see between the two rooms). Back in the main room, there was a bed, tv and the other usual things. The room was spacious though, and there was a little nook by the window. There was also a large window looking out onto the balcony, where we had a great view of the field where paragliders would land. Also, the ceiling was quite high. The hotel is a short walk into the heart of Queenstown and also to the Skyline gondola. The only bad thing I can say about the hotel in the parking garage underneath the hotel was too small and we had to find street parking. Also, there wasn't a good place to load/unload luggage. But compared to all the pluses, these are minor things. Our experience here was great. When we had a day trip to Milford Sound that left early in the morning, they gave us cereal and fruit for breakfast the night before so we could eat before the kitchen opened. I would absolutely stay here again, and I highly recommend it.

Yelp
To me, this is what a hotel should be. We arrived during the evening happy hour (6-7pm) and were immediately greeted by our name. This is a fairly small boutique hotel situated between two park areas. We stayed in room 12 for 3 glorious nights. The staff were exceptionally accommodating and helpful. I watched as they even helped a fellow guest get a package wrapped and sent off to the post office! They have plenty of great restaurant recommendations. The WiFi was great-always had a strong signal and no maximum usage. The happy hours is nightly, from 6pm-7pm. They serve wine in addition to soft drinks. Unfortunately we always missed the happy hour. Infused water is always available in the lobby. Breakfast was fantastic. They serve breakfast in the downstairs area (stairs by room 8) from 6:30am-10:30am every morning. They have three tables of food and drink in addition to a menu. They have a table of coffee, teas, juices (apple & orange), and infused water. The next table was fresh fruits, cheese and meat platters. The last table was full of baked goods (croissants, pain au chocolate, muffins) in addition to a variety of breads and jams. Each morning I ate a mix from the tables and on the menu. I ordered a simple breakfast of scrambled eggs and roasted potatoes. Speciality coffee drinks are easily available upon request. All the food was delicious with a great view of the garden area and outdoor seating. On the first morning we were at the hotel we were unable to make the breakfast due to a tour starting at 7am. The evening prior the staff delivered a breakfast for two, consisting of apples, pears, orange juice, yogurt with granola and berries, and several pastries. We were able to easily make hot tea with the hot water pitcher and the wide selection of teas that were available. Because of the way the hotel is set up I would not recommend Room 8 for late sleepers, as that's the closest room to the dining area. Now for the bathroom. The bathroom wasn't huge by any means but was unusual and felt luxurious. There was plenty of shelving and towel space. Over the large glass shower was a massive skylight, probably about 10 feet long. The entire bathroom wall was a glass wall, with a curtain that could be removed in the bedroom. The toilet was still hidden even if the curtain was open. The two robes provided with the room were cushy and felt luxurious. We had a king sized bed that was absolutely perfect. The room had a blackout curtain and regular shades that were powered by a button on the right side of the headboard. Brilliantly, the door had a magnetic door stop so it was very easy to get luggage into your room. The room came with two luggage racks. The lights were controlled by the switches on the left side of the bed and the floor to ceiling curtains were controlled by the switches on the right side of the bed. Although they have parking on the basement level we were easily able to find (free) street parking. There is an elevator from the basement floor to first floor, but only stairs from the first to second floors.

Yelp
Wife and I stayed here about 2 weeks ago, and I'm delighted to say that the Queenstown Park Boutique Hotel has the very highest level of 5 star room upgrades and finishes -particularly their plumbing fixtures. Covered parking, very helpful concierge, and perfect location just a short walk away from the downtown restaurants you want to try. I appreciated their location being just far away enough from the touristy chaos, but not inconvenient at all. Glad I found it here, and I'm sure you will be too. I was particularly enamored with their shower plumbing fixtures. Wife wanted me to mention she loved the 6 foot soaking tub. Our room had 2 simply glorious shower heads with superbly strong water pressure. I feel it's priced just right, and feel as though we more than got our money's worth. Stop clicking and reserve your room here without hesitation.

Yelp
Complimentary wine and canapé hour from 6-7 PM daily? HOLLER! I made it a priority to attend for the full hour every single day during my stay here. Guests can choose between a red or white wine (I always opted for multiple glasses of each) and nibble on some tasty hors d'oeuvres. I would look forward to this all day, especially after a mountain biking accident on day two left me hankering for alcohol 24/7. Our room was clean, modern and comfortable, which was imperative since partaking in an abundance of adventures during the day left me exhausted and genophobic by night time. Additionally, the kitchen serves a decadent breakfast, which I had the chance to stuff my face with on my last day. The staff was warm, personable and always happy to help. They took the time to ask each guest about daily activity and dinner plans, offered recommendations and helped coordinate reservations. On our last day, they not only called a cab to take us to the airport, but also helped with our luggage and checked the room for any items we may have left behind. The exceptional service really made our stay memorable. The only thing missing from the hotel is a fitness center/gym. but when you're in the adventure capital of the world, it's not hard to find outdoor activities that will keep your ass nice and toned.

Yelp
This hotel is superb. It is truly a boutique hotel and the staff is amazing...every single one. From check in to evening drinks and delicious canapés to a gourmet breakfast each morning, just wonderful. Our room was immaculate and modern and eco-friendly. So cozy. The hotel is located just a 5 minute walk from downtown where there are eateries and tour options galore. This hotel and its staff made our trip to Queenstown.

Yelp
We pulled into Queenstown Park Hotel perhaps six hours before our official check-in time hoping to park our car in the garage so that we didn't have to look for parking around town. Much to our pleasant surprise, it was not a problem at all. This pretty much set the theme around our experience at this wonderful hotel. When it was finally time to check in (after my Nevis bungy jump), we were shown a beautiful, modern hotel room on the first floor. We had a "gondola view" which was true - if you were outside on back deck. I was a bit concerned that the only thing separating our bathroom from the bedroom was a glass wall but there is a curtain you can draw so that your time in the "ceramic library" can be unobserved by your spouse or significant other. Karen Henry and her staff were very helpful throughout our entire stay. Of course the best time to interact with her team is to enjoy the complimentary pre-dinner drinks and canapés. In my book it is a "must attend" so be sure and plan your itinerary around this special service. Local wines are served along with canapés prepared by the hotel chef. I also understand that wine arrangements can be made if you happen to check in a bit later in the evening. The hotel itself is located just minutes from downtown Queenstown and next to a local rugby stadium. The stadium also doubles as a landing spot for paragliders descending down from the top of the Skyline gondola. With all the young tourists in the downtown area, it's just far enough to be guaranteed a quiet night's sleep. When visiting Queenstown, you can't do much better than the Queenstown Park Boutique Hotel.

Yelp
Absolute perfection. We had an extended stay and where so impressed by the hotel, staff and location. I would recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to get away but still wanting the warmth and comforts of home. The staff goes above and beyond to answer questions, help with logistics and just so pleasant to be around.

Yelp
This hotel is within walking distance if the town center. The room looked very nice and includes a kitchenette and refrigerator, and a press coffee pot with utensils so that you don't always have to eat in the restaurants. The staff were responsive and helpful if not overly eager to book us at their recommended restaurants and activities upon arrival. While we wouldn't rule out this hotel for a second visit, we would try to find another hotel due to the foot traffic outside our window, the need to keep our blinds drawn to have some privacy from the street and the street noise especially late when people are coming home from the bars.
