Let’s begin by saying that this is not a four-star hotel — at best, it resembles a decent hostel. Given the high price point, I expected significantly more. On the positive side, the location is quite convenient, with a tram stop right in front. However, this also becomes a major downside, as the windows are so poorly insulated that you can hear all the noise from the street clearly from the room. The entrance, where the reception is supposed to be, is extremely small and often left unattended. When the room was cleaned, the bed was barely made, coffee pods were not replenished, and towels were not replaced — we had to ask for extras ourselves. The TV remote had its batteries held in place with tape, which says a lot about the overall maintenance. Breakfast was very basic and felt cheap, with no fresh bread available. All in all, this was a big disappointment, especially given that it’s marketed as a four-star hotel and priced accordingly. In reality, it barely meets the standards of a one-star accommodation.

Comfortable Stay in a Great Location! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My wife and I stayed here from July 11th to 15th, 2025, and we were very pleased with our experience. The hotel is located in a convenient and well-connected district, with a tram stop right in front of the building, which made exploring the city incredibly easy. The staff were kind, attentive, and always ready to help, which made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. Breakfast was more than enough, with a good variety to start the day. Everything was clean, quiet, and comfortable. We truly enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again on a future trip.

A very average hotel for the price. ||The rooms are basic, reasonably well dressed but need some updating and investment. The walls and doors to the balconies are thin and flimsy - they don’t really feel safe to be honest. ||The breakfast was fine - fairly standard continental breakfast in a smallish room.

If cleanliness is important to you, this hotel is a good option. Breakfast is not extensive but complete. Access to the tram stop in front of the hotel is a big advantage. Only an untimely fire alarm at 5:30 am on July 26th spoiled our restful sleep and that of several other guests.

We had the duplex room which was great with our teenage daughter. Room was very big and comfortable. We didn’t have a lot of interaction with the staff but they where very helpful. During the night it was very quiet so we had a good sleep. A bit noisy in the morning as the hotels insulation isn’t great so we could hear all the other guest getting up, but nothing to complain about.

We stayed for 5 nights with a group. The hotel is in a quiet and safe neighborhood, conveniently accessible by trams (stops right in front of the hotel). Room size is very good however the service is terrible and the staff is even worst. The most unwelcoming we have ever encountered, with the exception of only 1 person (David) who was friendly. The lady in charge every morning is the most difficult to talk to. Our worst experience is when we had no access to elevator from the street level on arrival and the rest of the stay. We chose this hotel specifically because we were told that it is wheelchair accessible but in reality it is not! We were given rooms on the newer building with a broken elevator n require some stairs to reach the rooms; not possible with a person with disability. Was able to finally get a few rooms close enough to the elevator in the older building after insisting (which was not necessary). It was a very disapppointing experience with the overall stay; we did not feel welcomed at all.

We had three nights at the Quentin Zoo Hotel and would definitely return. Our room on the 4th floor was a little quirky, a curved roof did mean I had to duck and the clothes hanger over the wall table & tv was interesting. However the room also had a fridge, safe and coffee pod machine as well as a kettle with plenty of choice for beverages.|The staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was relaxed with a choice of hot and cold foods, pastries and fruit.|The hotel itself is about 20mins walk from Central Station but has the No.14 tram just outside so ideal to get in and out from the centre. There are a few cafes/restaurants close by, as well as the Artis Zoo and the Gollem craft bar is 5mins walk away where you can sit by a canal and enjoy a beer and light refreshments.|We walked from the hotel to the Anne Frank museum, around 25mins and that was the same for our walk to Vondel Park the next day.|Overall it was a perfect base for our visit to Amsterdam.

Very nice hotel in a quiet area, right next door to the holocaust museum. Tram stop right outside. Only stayed 2 nights so didn't require any service, but all members of staff seen were very polite.Enjoyed our stay very much.
