The Quentin Zoo Hotel is really nice, located near to Amsterdam city centre and Amsterdam Centraal (train station). You can go either by tram (it takes 10 min to the city centre) or by foot (around 20-25 min). We took the train from Schiphol airport to Amsterdam Centraal and then the tram to the hotel. The surroundings of the hotel are also really nice, with pretty cafes and houses. The room was clean (we had the deluxe double room), it was big, we also had a balcony and it was good heated. The bed was made every day and the towels were changed also daily. The receptionist was really nice, helpful and kind. You must visit Artis Zoo, it is 2 min away from the hotel. Thank you!

Convenient location, right in front of a tram stop that goes directly to Amsterdam Centraal. Even if you have luggage with you, it is so easy to get to since you don’t have to walk much. There are restaurants, cafes, bars, and supermarkets close by. The Holocaust Museum is also right across the hotel. Upon entering the room, we were pleasantly surprised to see that they had given us a bigger room than the one we had booked. It was spacious, clean, and had all the necessary amenities. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We appreciated that they made our bed daily as well as changed our towels daily. Since our room was facing the street, the sound-proofing was not the best as we could often hear noises during the night.

I stayed at Quentin Zoo Hotel and had a really nice experience overall. The location is great — just about 15–20 minutes from the city center, which makes it easy to get around while still enjoying a quieter area. There’s an amazing coffeeshop right nearby, perfect for relaxing after a day out. The neighborhood also has some unique and delicious places to eat, and the zoo is literally next door, which is super convenient and fun to visit.

This is NOT a hotel. It is absolutely horrible. It was advertised as 4 star on booking.com and doesn't deserve 2 stars. It is dirty at the lobby. There is a smell. Its depressing decor with really weird colours on walls. The room was awful also. The door frame was chipped. You couldnt swing a cat. The only positive was the shower was hot and powerful. We checked out a night early even without getting a refund it was that bad. If it was advertised as a 2 star thats fine but its false advertising as 4 star| Avoid avoid avoid

No issues at all with the room. Location isn't bad at all. Has a stop.outaide on the 14 tram line. The room was small but adequate and fairly quiet. The staff on check in just kept coughing on all our things though. Passports and water were covered in non louth covered coughs. Very unhygienic. But would recommend as a decent city stay

The hotel was outstanding! The staff were exceptionally friendly, the accommodation was comfortable, and the linens were changed daily. The bathroom was spotless, modern, and tastefully arranged. We were truly impressed and wholeheartedly recommend this place for its excellent value for money.

The staff was rude, they kept asking what room number we are like every time we get in and out. Even in the breakfast they insist to pay for it at the spot and we still have 3 days left in the hotel. She said “you have to pay now” like we going to run away 😂😂 |They did not brought as any toothpaste even though it’s included in the room we got. Did not change the towels for the whole 2 nights then we left the hotel. I have booked it for 5 night but only stayed 2 because of the staff basically. I went to another hotel and enjoyed my rest of my trip

Location is great - right next to the tram and close to the city centre.|Atmosphere - very poor. There is no proper lobby or reception area. Very crammed.|Rooms - we had a Luxury Double Room, which was very nice and spacious, with a cute little terrace. But our families had a Loft (tiny for 3 persons) and the Duplex rooms are also extremely unsafe for little children. If you are a family I would recommend the Quadruple room.|Cleanliness - very poor. The tables in the Breakfast area were not always clean, with dirty plates and glass on supposedly clean tables. The rooms were also quite dirty, the floors, the bathroom. Housekeeping changed our towels, but they failed to empty the bins for the whole 5 days we were there.|Staff are somewhat friendly, but lack experience in customer care. |I wouldn't stay in this hotel again and I wouldn't recommend it either, especially considering the cost.

Yelp
Excellent location for exploring the city. The building was designed by a famous Dutch Architect so the rooms are different sizes and shapes, and the walls are different colors. Very large and spacious for a European hotel, I'd say it's rooms are on the larger size even by American standards. They serve a breakfast in the morning but it was pricey (like 12 euro or so, can't remember exactly), and there's a small common area and a small balcony accessible to all guests. Beds are comfy, shower/bathroom is nice. Would recommend.
