Simply the best around. Fresh ingredients, homemade tortillas, exceptional salsas, good portions, and reasonable prices. The ladies who run the cart are wonderful too, always pleasant with quick service and good humor. Have ordered tacos / burritos / sopes with different combos of steak / carnitas / al pastor / chorizo and am always delighted.

Google
Absolutely massive proportions for a competitive price! These tortillas were filled to the brim with meat! Cilantro and onions were so light and fresh too it tasted amazing! This place has really tasty salsa as well and the red salsa is way hot. Almost too hot for me. But with friendly staff, quick service and even covered seating this is my go to spot!

Google
Came here because of the great reviews but left disappointed. Tacos were decent (4/5⭐️), but the beans and rice were bland (2/5⭐️). There was an issue with our order, and the staff seemed frustrated about fixing it. We never got our horchata until after we finished eating and I waited about 10-15 minutes by the window area to be noticed to ask for it. Unfortunately it was watery and flavorless. Might be okay for a cheap taco stop, but not somewhere I’d go out of my way for.

Google
This place rocks and is super underrated! Muy rico, muy delicioso. I got the fish tacos last weekend and I have not stopped thinking about them. The owners are also really sweet. And to top it off the atmosphere is awesome! love the eclectic handcrafted space. I will be back soon!

Google
i almost want to gatekeep this place, it’s so good, but they deserve all the business! easily the best tacos i’ve had in portland, fresh tortillas, flavorful salsa, and very generous portions of meat. very warm and comfy atmosphere for a food cart. will be eating here a lot more :)

Google
I love this taco stand more than you can ever know. They are the best tacos on this street. The tortillas are homemade, they salsa is always exceptional. And an overall good environment. I come here at least once a week and we always wish we got more. The two ladies that work here, work every week 6 out of 7 days a week. They deserve the tips for sure. Super sweet ladies, hard working, and amazing to get to know. Thank y’all for making me smile every week. Gracias! 🙏✨

Google
Some elite tacos in PDX and good people! Really excellent tortillas!!!

Google
I’m more convinced every visit that this is the best place for mexican food in portland. I’ve been coming here for over a year at this point and there’s nothing not to love. I’m a big fan of the combo plate personally! Carnitas and chicken are my favorites but there are 0 bad options. Those hand pressed tortillas are such a work of love!!! Not that I don’t indulge in a torta on occasion. They’ve had to raise their prices a bit and they’re STILL one of the best deals in town.

Yelp
The tacos were good, but not anything out of the ordinary IMO, but the standout here was the salsa roja - tasty w/ some serious heat which has been a bit hard to find in this town even w/ so many taco trucks. I also really like the ambience, plenty of tables to sit at, w/ a mix of self made coverings to give it an open air, semi indoor type of vibe. At $3.50 a taco, price is standard. May be back again just for that salsa.

Yelp
TEN STARS! This place is so great it reminds me of the tacos from back in LA with the ambiance of Mexico. She makes the best hand made tortillas, marinades the meat to perfection, and provides very warm service to everyone. This place is a hidden gem on Williams

Yelp
Amazingly delicious! Friendly and gracious. Our favorite burrito in town. . And try the carrot pickled condiments.

Yelp
I moved here from Arizona a year ago and had been mourning the loss of good Mexican food until I found Quesabrosa. This is by far the best Mexican food I have had in Oregon and is better than some of my favorite places in Arizona even. Their tortillas, beans, and salsa are all literally perfect. So glad I found this place!

Yelp
This place was incredibly underrated. Do not sleep on this place! My sister and I were in the area to run an errand and wanted to grab lunch before we did. We parked around the corner from Loa, but we were hit with amazing smells. We followed the aroma to Quesabrosa, which was a food truck across the street. Maybe because I was hangry, but I was antsy on getting my food. I felt it took a while to make our food (more than 5 minutes to just make tacos), but I could see the love that went into making the food. Everything was made from scratch. Case and point: their hard taco shells, which were excellent by the way. They don't use store bought taco shells! Quesabrosa legit deep fried their tortillas in the shape of the shells, and they came out so crunchy. My sister ordered the al pastor in the hard taco shells, and I was lightweight jealous that I didn't order it. I got a fish taco and a veggie taco, and they were great. I could tell their tacos were made-to-order, the produce tasted so fresh, and the flaky, tender fish was lightly pan fried.

Yelp
I love everything about this place. They are so kind and the food is amazing and reasonably priced. The veggie burrito is stuffed with warm rice and beans and fresh spinach! It always feels like a home made meal. I know they make their own tortillas as well. If you are looking for delicious real Mexican food GO here, you will love it!

Yelp
Real tacos in this town! Real tacos that aren't $15 for a single street taco! Personable service with good attention to detail (i.e no onions plz, or no cilantro...) It's a food cart with covered seating. The covered structures could definitely benefit from a re-build to be cozier, warmer/cooler, and befitting the quality of the tacos+vibe. Unlike other food carts this has a very stand alone vibes: So, no random people hanging out for other foods/ reasons/ purposes (strong + for me). Also there are several seating sections which makes it great for a date and/or larger group due to separate acoustic environments (big +).

Yelp
Torta de pastor was 10/10. It was so flavorful, huge, and packed with everything that a torta should be packed with and the bolillo bread was toasted on the comal to perfection! The only negative is the eating space looked a little neglected and could have used a cleaning, but the food itself is 10/10

Yelp
I go to this place once a week. Authentic Mexican tacos anything better than I've had in LA or Miami. Prices are as delicious as the food. The meat is juicy as hell and the tortillas are so damn fresh. I can say more but I'm in love with this place
google avatar

Mel K.

Yelp
Can't beat the price compared to other places nearby. And tortillas made by hand! Delicious and support local small biz!
google avatar

Scott S.

Yelp
Had three tacos (steak, chicken, and carnitas). They were all good and meat quality was nice to where it didn't have much fat or gristle. Cart has a multiple spots to sit with some heated indoors and a little back patio. Both red and green salsa are really good. The tortillas were nice and didn't fall apart which was impressive.

Yelp
Have been in search of some killer tacos in Portland. I'm so glad to have found Quesabrosa. Their tacos are my absolute favorite in Portland. They make two hand pressed tortillas per taco, which are loaded with meat, onions, and cilantro. The carnitas are divinely crispy and juicy. Their sopes are delicious, on the larger side as well. Their salsas are incredible and the red really brings the heat. Their beans and rice hit as well. Also, I believe who is the owner, is typically there with another Tia in the back, throwing down in their small kitchen. They are truly such sweet people that make banging food.
google avatar

Yelp
Quesabrosa is where it's at! Their fish taco is honestly one of the best I've ever tasted. Their handmade tortillas are to die for and the seasoning they use on the fish is mouth watering. The Veggie Sope was hearty and loaded with toppings. I definitely couldn't finish the two items I ordered. I was hoping for a tad more flavor on the Sope, but overall it was great! Service was so friendly and welcoming!

Jessa F.

Yelp
I should have taken a picture of the food but it was so delicious it did not last long! The chicken flautas, asada and pastor tacos were my favorite! So juicy, not greasy and fresh tortillas. This is the most authentic Mexican food I've had in my 9 years of living in Portland. I'm from the Bay Area so I'm picky about my Mexican food and this was FIIIIIRE! The food wasn't the only good thing out of our visit. Lisa, the owner, is truly the sweetest woman. She remembered a funny story about my partner from 10 years ago. We will definitely be coming more often. 10/10
google avatar

Andrew A.

Yelp
The service still has a touch of attitude after many years, but the food is a cut above compared to other Mexican carts. The loaded sopes were crunchier than the normal version, I liked it. Tacos were standard, the tortillas didn't taste homemade, but were good nevertheless. No salsa because of Covid, just two somewhat bland red and green. There's value here. And the seating area is nice.

Yelp
Looking for legit tacos in Portland. Accidentally came across this hole in the wall. Tried asada tacos and Al pastor. Bomb baby bomb. Handmade corn tortillas filled with juicy and tasty meat. The red salsa had a hot warning. I found it perfect level of heat. Will be back to try more of the menu.

Yelp
Portland has a lot of good food and unfortunately Mexican is not one of them. Apparently, finding good Mexican food is extremely difficult and, once you find a good spot, you become a regular customer. This is what Quesabrosa is to a lot of my Portland friends. - a Mexican cuisine haven in a city that's desperately lacking. I ordered the fish burrito and the enchilada plate. Honestly? I found them both to be underwhelming. I don't know if I'm just spoiled by Bay Area food or if I ordered the wrong items, but I wouldn't get either of those again. The fish burrito had good flavors but the texture of the fish combined with the fillings was very mushy. The enchilada plate tasted a bit strange, as if it was lacking salt or oil or some kind of spice. I usually LOVE refried beans and rice but the one in this dish tasted on par to something you could get in a can. I definitely recommend getting a different kind of burrito (something with red meat) and the tacos, because those are the items that my friends seemed to really enjoy. I just made the mistake of not ordering those. Also, I recommend getting the guacamole and a side of green sauce for your chips - it's super delicious! 3 stars but rounded up to 4 because, according to my friends, this is the best that Portland has to offer.

Yelp
I'm blown away. This is the tiniest, most out-of-the-way, Tijuana-looking place I've ever seen! And I've NEVER had a better taco!!! . They MAKE the tortillas in FRONT of you when order, and they are FABULOUS!!! 10/10 recommend this place!!!
google avatar

Kathy S.

Yelp
LOVE this food cart! I usually get the wet burrito (with carnitas) and it is big enough to feed me 2.5-3 meals!!! They're big! And delicious! There's a reason this place always has a line!!

Gabe V.

Yelp
Quite possibly the best tacos in Portland. They have fresh homemade corn tortillas, delicious salsas at a reasonable price. If you haven't tried my recommendation would be two al pastor tacos. You won't be disappointed

Kristen S.

Yelp
The food is amazing and affordable- huge burritos! Also, the people working there are so kind and lovely. :)
google avatar

Maddi P.

Yelp
Perf carne asada burrito, quick service big portion flavorful salsa and love the vibe!
google avatar

Tara G.

Yelp
Homemade tortillas, fresh ingredients, and no skimping around with quantity! The super torta is massive! Possibly like half loaf of bread, maybe half/whole avocados and tomatoes, and a few entire leaves of lettuce amongst the other ingredients. I think I like the idea of it than the actual outcome but would probably get tacos or burritos next time. Tacos were plentiful too with the homemade tortilla and salsa verde being the favorite features!
google avatar

Kelsey K.

Yelp
10/10. Very cute and tasty spot. I went for the first time yesterday and then again today. I just had tacos but they are absolutely delicious.

Yelp
Trying to find excellent street tacos when I get a craving on a Monday or Tuesday, days when Tehuana Oaxacan is closed. I've driven by Quesabrosa many times so decided to give it a try. They did not have the pastore so I ordered one Asada and one Pork. Even though I was the only person there, it took quite some time to get my tacos. They were good, and satisfied my craving, but still can't compare to Tehuana Oaxacan's who serve their tacos with grilled onion and jalapeño on the side. At Quesabrosa, the asada was so finely chopped that the texture distracted from the flavor. The pork was very tender and flavorful and definitely worth going back for again. I wish the tacos had more chopped onions and fresh cilantro so next time I will request. Crowds started coming as noon approached. Plenty of small tables and benches to sit at both in and out of the sun.

Yelp
This is honest to glob the best Mexican food cart in the Portland area. As an original Californian, my cravings for tacos has been unreal. But ever since I found this food cart, my whole view on tacos has changed. This place I think has the best tacos I've ever had! Low key better than the tacos I've had in San Diego and LA. The wonderful ladies who run this food cart have been nothing but kind and generous, they even gave us shots for my boyfriends birthday! I have nothing but good things to say about this place and I will never stop supporting them. If there's one thing I recommend, it's the Pastor taco's and the green salsa. When I'm not eating here, there food haunts my dreams! I wish I could give them a higher review! This place will always be my #1 food cart in Portland.
google avatar

Rando R.

Yelp
Yes, you should eat here! I wish I could give them more stars. Honestly, the food is amazing. And the people who run it are even better. I can unequivocally vouch for the incredible veggie burrito, and I brought fish tacos back for my wife who said they were better than the fish tacos from a fancy place in SF that literally cost over twice the price. Even the hot sauce is good here. But the best part is the people. Nice, funny, LGBTQ-friendly. And deeply kind. A person experiencing homelessness asked to order whatever they could with the few dollars they had, and the big-hearted humans at Quesabrosa gave them free food and treated them super well. It's nice (and rare) when a place is an automatic winner just for the food and prices, but Quesabrosa is that--even if you just want awesome food and don't care that the owners are great people. This is a stellar place to eat. But it's that much more rewarding to patronize an establishment that's so good on even deeper levels. We'll be back eagerly, often, and with lots of cash for the tip jar.

Rhisa F.

Yelp
I FREAKING LOVE THIS PLACE. authentic Mexican food. I'm usually really picky when it comes to carnitas so if I don't like it, I don't come back. But this place hits the spot! The ladies are so sweet, and they remember you when you come in. I'm glad this is right next door to me, there goes my diet!
google avatar

Jon M.

Yelp
Seems like they are changing up some little things in CoVid times, presumably due to sourcing issues or cost - double tortillas on tacos, but a little smaller, salsa is different, most menu items went up a buck (not th tacos tho). Still fantastic Mexican food all around, and great value. I'm so happy they are able to remain open, even with the limited hours, I think 10:30-4 for now (July 2020). Support local!
google avatar

Marc F.

Yelp
I like that you're woken Woke and hungry Minimalist-Mex awaits you I like Quesabrosa Inclusively I could be woken with food
google avatar

Nicholas D.

Yelp
Best burrito i have had in my entire life and the salsa with the avocado in it?? Amazing!!!
google avatar

Jessica P.

Yelp
I had three tacos (Pastor, chicken and Carnitas). All were delicious and the salsa was perfect! Definitely an authentic experience and I'll be back whenever I'm on Williams looking for a quick casual lunch. If you're looking for a cute ambiance, this isn't it... but they do have a little patio and covered areas to eat in. My dog was allowed in with us, so that was nice. Best authentic tacos I've had in a while
google avatar

Aaron J.

Yelp
This place is run by two of the nicest people! The tortillas for the tacos are pressed when they are ordered and are amazing! I've been coming here for a few years and would highly recommend it! I've had pretty much everything in the menu(torta and burrito are my go to's with pastor, it's really good!) and you really cant go wrong with whatever you get!!
google avatar

Camille B.

Yelp
Eternal worldwide taco tour rep, I stopped here because it's conveniently located on my biking route. Soundscape of authentic music while you are ordering is inviting. Hand operated tortilla compressor a couple of feet from the ordering window in use leaves one feeling like this place is "the real deal" and they taste so much better than prefabbed tortillas! The high cilantro content co-mingled with perfectly ripe avocado slices set these tacos apart from other taquerias. Another favorite distinguishing feature is the pump sanitizer in the form of a clear fancy high heeled shoe-big time novelty points!!!! The little plastic ramekins with the red sauce should be labeled 'BEWARE, hottest salsa in PDX" because it is, so use it sparingly.
google avatar

Carmen S.

Yelp
Que Sabrosa is right! Fresh made corn tortillas, amazing meat options, delicious vegetarian tacos and fiery (I mean like really really hot) hot sauces. Plus the folks here are so warm and friendly. A great place to stop in for a taco or five! Cash preferred and you better leave these hard working taco magicians a big tip!
google avatar

Natalie W.

Yelp
Really good giant burrito. It was delicious and pretty inexpensive for the generous portions. It was a little greasy, but what are napkins for
google avatar

Julia D.

Yelp
Was stoked to try. Was not so stoked to eat. The tortillas around the burrito and the quesadilla were excellent. Otherwise: Chicken super burrito - my man liked it. The chicken tasted home-cooked. Not enough sour cream for how much rice is on it. Cheese quesadilla - fried in butter? Way too much cheese. Tasted like weird greasy cheese toast. Fish taco - no sauce? The tortillas became soggy and floppy from the condensation of the fish, so not sure they were grilled first. Lots of tasty fish, but no real other flavor. Chips and salsa - lame, cheap chips and a plastic clamshell container filled with their regular, borderline flavorless green salsa topped with plain tomatoes, cilantro, and brown avocado. The plastic container leaked all over the bag. Extra note about the red salsa - way too spicy with dry chili powder. Tasty, but not necessarily complex. Won't be returning.
google avatar

Taylor M.

Yelp
So good!! Thought it was a little pricey at first until I opened it. Turns out it's just huge! Got a chimichanga, wet burrito, and veggie burrito and it fed three of us for 2 meals. Totally worth it. Pic is half of the chimichanga and wet burrito. Yes that is a normal large takeout box.
google avatar

Michael S.

Yelp
Very tasty tacos: with the carnitas and the carne asada leading the pack. Loved the ambiance, and the location (just across the street from the New Seasons Market) can't be beat. Have already been here twice in a week, with more to come :-)
google avatar

Matt E.

Yelp
Those following along probably know by now that I've got a burrito problem. Quesabrosa is going to keep that going. I got a simply massive carnitas burrito from here for something like $8, and it was dang tasty. The one thing that I didn't like was that it had lettuce inside, but that's my fault for not noticing and having it removed. I don't like lettuce in burritos, but that's just me. Other than that it was a super flavorful burrito that I could barely finish. And this boy can EAT! They have a wee little seating area. I wish it had heaters, but nope. But still, it's covered and cozy and I like it. The menu looks extensive, and they really seem to be pushing that they offer lengua. I love lengua tacos, so that's definitely my plan for my next visit. I'm a fan of this cute little Mexican food cart, and I look forward to returning.
google avatar

Maryann L.

Yelp
Amazing, authentic food!! We are hooked for sure! Had the pastor pork tacos with the green sauce and they were the bomb! They also had fantastic guac! Thank you & we'll be seeing you again soon Ladies!
google avatar

Alba M.

Yelp
I love this place so much. Their tacos are delicious. We love their carnitas, their asada, and their lengua tacos. Their asada plate is pretty good too. We like the burritos too but the tacos are so good that we usually just get those. And the customer service is great. We usually have a great time chatting with them unless they are very busy.
google avatar

Andy L.

Yelp
Caring customer service. Seriously tasty food. We loved the fish tacos - fish was better seasoned than most places. Also got a wet burrito with red sauce - really rich homemade flavor. And the salsas are better than typical. Will return soon!

Tom J.

Yelp
These are soooo good . Everything is made from scratch and the tortillas are hand rolled, the lady that runs this place is so kind and welcoming. Great portion sizes and delicious. Love the car it's here!
google avatar

Thal H.

Yelp
Go here if you are craving a bean and cheese burrito. Inexpensive and large portions. Also very friendly staff!
google avatar

Kylie L.

Yelp
THE best tacos and burritos. Quick, well-priced, and great service. Love this place!
google avatar

A G.

Yelp
I have eaten here twice. The first time I ordered guacamole and chips. The first time I asked for no tomato in the guacamole. The didn't listen apparently, and it was full of tomato it was also literally mostly onions. The second time I ordered the chips and guacamole I asked for no tomato and go light on the onions. Low and behold... still full of tomato and mostly onion. So they don't seem to read what they write down if you ask for a deviation from the norm. I will attach a photo of the guac before I picked out what little avocado was in it and after. Their bean burrito was good, and their chicken tacos were ok. The flour shells are pretty fluffy...so that's kind of odd. Their sopa is super fluffy as well, not that great. The person who took my order wasn't the friendliest either time I went... to say the least.
google avatar

Damon T.

Yelp
Good Lord! Being from the Bay Area I thought I had seen it all when it came to good burritos, but this place rocked my world! I got a burrito and some chicken flautas to taste, but was shocked to see the burrito was as big as my head. Great flavorful chorizo. A great find, do yourself a favor and give it a try.

Yelp
The weather is finally warming up and this outdoor restaurant was perfect. The menu has a lot of great options at a very reasonable price. I was there a long with a small family with 2 kids. The space was inviting and the food was great!
