We stayed at Quest Albury for a sleep-over during our Sydney to Melbourne road trip—and honestly, we wish we had more time there! The hotel is modern, sleek, and absolutely spotless. Everything felt fresh and new, with thoughtful, high-quality amenities throughout. We booked the one-bedroom apartment, which was incredibly comfortable and well-equipped. The bed was cozy, and to our delight, the room was perfectly warm when we arrived—such a welcome relief after a long drive in freezing winter weather, especially since we got there super late. The receptionist was incredibly kind and accommodating. Since we arrived after 9 PM (when reception closes), she made sure our room key was safely left in a secure box for easy access—such thoughtful service! The location is excellent—just an 8-minute walk to Woolworths, which made grabbing some fresh fruits and snacks a breeze. The apartment had everything: a fridge, oven, microwave, full cooking utensils, plus a washing machine and dryer—perfect for families or road trippers wanting to freshen up. There’s even a restaurant called 2640 conveniently located beneath the hotel, and everything in town felt close and easily accessible. Highly recommend Quest Albury—clean, modern, warm, and so well thought out. It made a quick stopover feel like a mini getaway!

Good stay. Most staff very lovely & helpful. Impeccable rooms. Only downfall is we were promised 10% off as we are Quest members but was not applied and was charged full rate. Parking is also super confusing if you’re a first timer.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment as we had a toddler and an infant. The room was excellent especially in relation to the children. There was nothing they were able to get into. ||Convenient in terms of location||Clean and tidy||Easy to find||Friendly Staff||

I booked a room at Quest Albury two weeks prior to my arrival and made a note requesting an early check-in at 10 a.m., as I had an important meeting to attend. Unfortunately, this expectation was not met. I do understand the challenges of limited housekeeping staff, but what made the experience more disappointing was the unwelcoming demeanor of the receptionist on duty.||||While I can appreciate that anyone can have a tough day, as the first point of contact, a receptionist sets the tone for a guest’s experience and in this case, it felt more like being met with “mean girl” energy than hospitality. I waited in the lobby for over an hour and even offered to downgrade my room just to be able to check in sooner, especially since the hotel did not appear to be fully booked. That flexibility from the staff could have made a huge difference.||||I did eventually make it to my meeting, but the overall experience left a lot to be desired. I’m not one to leave negative reviews lightly, but unfortunately, I don’t see myself returning to this property in the future. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as the smallest gestures in hospitality can make the biggest difference.

Checked location for late afternoon arrival and overnight stay with early departure. Needed comfortable room, location for walking distance to dinner options & early breakfast. All perfect for our needs. Reception staff member was excellent (should have taken her name to recommend to Quest). Will stay again.

The whole hotel staff from Vincent, Bryan, Zac 1 and 2, Courtney and the rest of the staff made the stay comfortable. They will go out of their way to ensure you are comfortable and every need was met. Highly recommend the Quest if staying in Albury.

The room I stayed in was 207B. The adjacent room, 207A, is connected by an internal door. When the television is on in the other room, the noise can be clearly heard in my room, making it difficult to sleep at night. The rooms are not soundproof, which causes a lot of disturbance overnight.

Yelp
As an Australian Attorney that travels a lot between Australia and the USA, I usually stay at the Hyatt or Intercontinental chains and of course in a large regional Australian town such hotels do not exist. I discovered Quest Albury via a friends referral and I must say he was right on the money. The service was fantastic, the room secure (an important factor in my line of work), very clean, nice lay out and a great view of Albury. Check in was streamlined and I even met the owner operators who are also very personable. The charge back from the restaurant and bar below is great and I must say the whole experience was fantastic with great parking tool. Overall the pricing was right for the area and my only wish was that Quest be in the USA on the east coast. Finally, if you are thinking of a romantic or family get away I would recommend Quest Albury in a heart beat.

Yelp
It's 2015 and these apartment are by no means modern any more and are in need of refurbishment. Definitely not a 4 1/2 star hotel, more like a 3, and disappointing for a Quest apartment. Air con is old and noisy (and smelly - yuk! like someone is breathing on you), tv's are small, the shower head is old and crappy and sprays pulsating water all over the place, beds need changing and are lumpy, housekeeping hadn't changed the light bulb so bedside lamp not working, alarm clock not plugged in. Staff are friendly which is nice but doesn't make up for an uncomfortable stay. I won't be staying here ever again. Best Western is better.
