While the location of this hotel is excellent, there's a lot of areas in which they could improve. Firstly, the mattress in my studio apartment was sagging and in dire need of replacement. Also, the block-out curtains don't do much blocking, which was frustrating when wanting a sleep-in. Having the washing machine in the room was great however the dryer emitted a concerning burning smell, so I had to dry my clothes the old fashioned way. Finally, the bathroom wasn't terribly clean - the shower was quite mouldy. The extractor fan also wasn't working.

We stayed in a 1br apartment for four nights to attend a local competition. The apartment was a great size and nicely furnished. The full kitchen with washing machine and dryer was excellent. The bedroom was comfortable and the car parking at back of complex worked fine at $20/night. We were also located at the back of the complex so no noise from West Row. Only minor issue was there was, we assume, an exhaust pipe from the restaurant below running through the corner of the bedroom. Was noisy, but went off around midnight on Fri and Sat nights.

I recently had the pleasure of staying in a cozy one-bedroom apartment located right in the heart of the city center. The location is absolutely ideal, making it easy to explore all the nearby attractions and amenities. I appreciated being just a short walk away from the bus stop, which made traveling around the city a breeze. The apartment itself was well-equipped with all the necessary appliances, providing a comfortable and convenient stay. What truly stood out to me was the kindness of the staff; they were always ready to assist and made my experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and accessible stay in the city!

I do not recommend this hotel if they give you the same room we got! There is a pub downstairs that felt like we were directly on top of the speakers. The base was vibrating through the floor. Coupled with the smokers and revellers gathering outside of the pub, which can be heard through the paper thin balcony doors. The hotel is in a great location, but they really need to address the problem of the pub downstairs. The room itself was ok, albeit it quite dated. The cleanliness on the other hand is another story. The bathroom felt dirty and there was mould like stains in the shower. The curtains in both the bedroom and living room needed replacing, there’s holes in some parts and they don’t cover the entire window. Light seeps in as soon as the sun comes up, not the best for a sleep in when the music from the pub has kept you up most of the night. Would I stay again? Definitely not. Videos attached are from the balcony and the bedroom with external doors closed. You can hear the heavy base and lack of sound proofing.

An old historical building, needing more than just TLC. I mean, the room was clean, but the rattling of both A/C made it hard to sleep. We visited in summer, and it's hard to sleep without the A/C running. Other than that, the room is spacious, and the location is central. You have countless eateries and bars at a stone throw away.

This hotel is located in a great location, close to all shops, restaurants and easy access to all of Canberra’s sights. The hotel itself is in a tired old building and the rooms are dated. Not the cleanest place to stay, bed not very comfy, the lift belongs in a museum, and cost cutting evidenced in the fact that you only get half a scourer and kitchen wipe (no kidding, they’re cut in half!), good wifi but TV the size of a computer screen. On a positive note, staff were friendly and on-site parking is available (at $20/day, and a bit tight), Heaps of eating options in the same building, although downside is the hotel lobby always smells of cooking. Overall, if your main focus is on getting in a great location, for not a lot of money, then this is your place.

Hotel is located perfectly in the city centre, right opposite Greyhound bus stop. The room is fully equipped. Even washing machine and drying here. Everything is comfortable. Highly recommend
