We really enjoyed our stay at Quest Rotorua Central. Our room had been recently renovated and felt fresh and modern, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The in-room washer was such a bonus, it made things so convenient while travelling! We also loved that the TV had free movies available to watch. The location was perfect for exploring Rotorua, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely stay again.

The booking desk didn’t tell us that the room we stayed in was next to the elevator, and every time someone hopped in it it echoed throughout our whole room. It was the worst vacation night here and there is no attendance on call from like after 5pm till the morning next day. So if you get into trouble or need to change rooms cause you have issues with that room you can’t. You are stuck That’s not good enough with that answer! Nothing was mentioned when I did the book that the room will be extremely load every-time someone hopped on the elevator, I don’t know what country you worked from that allows this type of behaviour. In New Zealand we do have the consumers guarantees acts that deals with this type of situation, if I did want to persuade this you will be out of a job for sure. Don’t come to me saying it’s the last minute booking, the first booking or the last booking should get equal opportunity in-terms of quietness and cleanliness. First booking might get a bigger room, but the quality of the room experience cannot be compromised, which that has happened in my case. You did not offer any remediation nor are you apologetic about the situation, I have full right to tell all good citizens to watch out for your traps. There till the morning of next day! When we brought it to the attention of their receptionist she just stood looking at me and had a look of saying I know. Paid $250.00 to the night which I felt like was robbed from the deprived sleep we had to endure over the whole ordeal that night. Watch out everyone you could be next!

Be aware that “off street parking” is in fact parking in the lane way out back. Free 60 minute parking outside and cheap 3 hour parking, just up the street is a better option. Room was just a room with small bathroom and a sofa that face the front door., though our daughter’s room, next to the lift didn’t have one. If I was staying in the area for more than one night, i wouldn’t stay here.

Bright, large, clean apartment. We had a spa on our balcony, and had booked a carport (recommended). The staff were very friendly, central location (without being on Fenton st). Would definitely return.

Loved my stay at this Quest! The receptionist was welcoming from the start, got a free upgrade to a room with a hot tub. Beautiful rooms with heaps of space and a comfortable bed. Definitely worth it and will come again

Great hotel and location. Appears to have just had a fresh renovation. New carpet and fresh paint. Also super stoked to find a spa on the balcony. The lady at reception was lovely. This was booked for me through work and pretty stoked with it tbh.

The Quest Central in the centre of town is the best place to base yourself for a Rotorua area adventure. Start with the pre check in. Requested the details via email a week before we arrived, made checking in a breeze. When you check in if you need parking just ask, its out the back of the hotel or you can prebook. The apartment was perfect, plenty of room with a separate bedroom and bathroom with a spacious living area. The furnished balcony has a large jetted tub. Overall the apartment was just great, the service was fantastic and the location in the middle of town sets you up for a great visit to Rotorua. Plenty of great places to eat are just within walking distance. What more could you need!! We would stay here again without a second thought.

We recently spent a week at Quest Rotorua and had an exceptional experience. Our room was perfect—with great views and a lovely spa bath on the verandah that was just the right touch for a relaxing stay. The room featured a well-equipped kitchen along with washing and drying facilities, making our stay extremely convenient. The accommodation was clean, modern, and serviced daily. Parking was hassle-free too, with street parking available right in front of the hotel as well as secure paid parking behind the motel. The location is unbeatable. We loved that we could easily walk into town each day—it only takes a couple of minutes to reach the eat street area, which is lined with a variety of restaurants and cozy coffee shops. On Thursday evenings there is a night market a minute walk from the hotel, mostly street food, a great way to spend the evening and support locals. Overall, our stay at Quest Rotorua was wonderful, and we will definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit to Rotorua!

Yelp
The Google map said the front desk closed at 7pm. The front desk lady was horrible, lying. When I called her around 6pm and told her we would check in a bit after 7pm. She said they would be people here 24/7. When we got the hotel, it was 7pm sharp and no one was at the front desk. The check in was difficult. I had special need for a power converter for medical use (I left my at previous hotel). I called the hotel multiple times and no one could help me. I also talked the same lady, again she was lying. She told me I could buy one from a local store. I checked there was no such a store in Rotorua!!! Reserved the parking spot, since we got here late and no more parking for us! We stayed at 1st floor. The bathroom had this terrible smell from the sewer pipe!!! Had to close the bathroom door when we sleeping. The shampoo bottle didn't work, no shampoo came out. Would not even bother to call them. Would never recommend this place to anyone nor come back to this place.

Yelp
Nothing fancy, the unit was clean and functional with a washer, dryer and small kitchen area. The location was convenient, and we could easily walk to grocery stores and a number of restaurants. We paid the extra (small) fee to guarantee an outdoor parking spot (inside spots also available). I am not sure that was necessary because there appeared to be plenty of parking available on the streets. Initially we were worried about the noise from the elevator since we were right next to it. However, other than some mechanical operation related noises during the day, the unit was very quiet.

Yelp
Quest Rotorua Central is one of the highest rated hotels and they have won many awards. The check-in process was very smooth and the service was great. If you can find street parking it is free in the evening otherwise they do sell passes at a nearby parking garage. Quest is more of an apartment style hotel but it works similarly to a hotel. Room was clean and very large. One nice bonus was the laundry inside the unit. There was both a washer and dryer! You can grab free detergent from the front desk. Location is very central and I would highly recommend Quest Rotorua as a home base for your visit to Rotorua.

Yelp
Besides the smell of sulfur which is something to get used to when landing in Rotorua. This Place is an inexpensive hotel stay which is convenient in central Rotorua. Just 10min from the airport, there's shuttles you can catch from and to the airport. Our room comes with a kitchen, dining tables, couches, a queen sized bed, tv with cable and free movies to choose from. The bathroom is clean with amenities and the best part about this place is the AC and the washer and dryer!!! It's location is great as there's stores around and walking distance, next to coffee shops and restaurants. The registrar who checked us in after 8pm was very polite and professional. He gave us some tips on places to eat and showed us to our room. Most places in town closes early when we checked in late around after 8pm. But we found the place to be homely for the next 5 days. There's an elevator and to enter the building you need the key card as the building is secured. Not bad, Quest!
