Quest Townsville on Eyre

Recently spent a weekend in Townsville and stayed at Quest. Location was fantastic - close dining and bar options with the Stand walking distance. Rooms were great, clean and modern. Comfy beds and good showers. Best of all was the service - very helpful and friendly staff who made the stay even more enjoyable. Will definitely be back and staying here. 100% recommend.

We had a fantastic experience staying at Quest Townsville on Eyre. From the moment we arrived, Julian's service stood out — he was incredibly kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. He made us feel so welcome and well looked after throughout our stay. Our accommodation was absolutely perfect — spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. It had everything we needed and more. We truly enjoyed every moment and felt right at home. We highly recommend Quest Townsville on Eyre to everyone. Loved having a kitchen, and the bed was very comfy. Felt like I could actually unwind.||||The location’s spot on—walking distance to The Strand and heaps of good spots to eat nearby. I also liked having access to the gym, which was clean and easy to use.||||Best part? The chilled-out atmosphere and how approachable the staff were. ||If I had to nitpick, parking could be a bit tricky during busy times, but the staff helped sort that out pretty smoothly.||||Would definitely stay again - really makes my trips to Townsville a breeze.

Recommended by friend who stayed there previously I booked online from NZ. Quest kept in contact in regards to check in (we were to have a late check in - key location etc) however we arrived early so check in was easy. Apartment was most satisfactory although we only slept there being out and about with friends/family. Staff most helpful and very pleasant. Great location, walking easy to beach, shops & restaurants.

Quick overnight stay. Late check in made easy. Beds were very comfortable - pillows not as much! Plenty of room in the 2 bed apartments and close to everything you need. Would definitely stay again.

I am in the middle of an interstate relocation that was delayed so got moved here from aligned corporate residences on Palmer street which used to be an old quest. The location of the former was top notch with the view of the marina. My view here was of a dirt hill. However, this accommodation was much cleaner. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a two bedroom apartment that had everything I needed. Clean, comfy bed, good aircon. It had zero ambience so I was happy to be out all day. Third floor in the second building - very quiet. It’s a bit of a rabbit Warren with two lifts to two separate buildings- got lost once or twice. Car park was fully booked, however they have limited section in the street directly outside - I was lucky to get a spot each day. I wouldn’t stay here for a holiday unless you plan to be out all day. But it was good accommodation and there is a Coles across the road within walking distance. I didn’t use it as I had a hire car. Recommend:-)

The room was Huge, we had a queen bed and 2 single beds, 2 bathrooms, lounge and kitchenette. ||Room was clean and fresh.||All shampoo, conditioner and soap provided. ||||They had a pool which looked inviting but was so cold unfortunately. ||||Lovely staff and good location. ||Quiet location. ||Shopping centre opposite. ||Good prices for their rooms.||

We booked this hotel with the intention of checking in late Sunday night and checking out Monday afternoon, as our flight arrived around 9 PM Sunday. I emailed the hotel in advance, requesting check-in at 9 PM and check-out at 5 PM, and clearly stated I was willing to pay extra if needed. They replied confirming the time change and said there would be no additional charge. However, just a few hours after the payment was completed, they quietly sent another email revoking the agreement and resetting check-out to 11 AM. I didn’t notice this change immediately, and the next day they insisted we leave by 11 AM. The staff were polite, but the management’s process was deceptive and rigid. If they had declined my request from the beginning, we would have booked elsewhere. Instead, they agreed, accepted the money, then changed the terms without proper notice. We had to find another place to stay last-minute. Be careful — this felt like a trap.
