Quest Townsville on Eyre

Pros - very quiet at night. ||Cons - ||During our 7-night stay, we were disappointed with the standard of housekeeping. Service was provided only once after our first full day, with no further attention for the rest of the week. This meant we had to manage with one towel each for five days, an overflowing bin, and only a single sachet of dishwashing and dishwasher liquid. The sheets were also not changed at all. According to the hotel stays for 7 days only get serviced once, however this facility is advertised as daily housekeeping. For the rate of $357 per night, we expected a higher level of service and attention to detail. In addition, the room itself felt dated and very plain, which detracted from the overall experience. The outside BBQ needed a good clean. With more consistent housekeeping, some room updates and outdoor maintenance the stay would have been much more enjoyable.

Recently spent a weekend in Townsville and stayed at Quest. Location was fantastic - close dining and bar options with the Stand walking distance. Rooms were great, clean and modern. Comfy beds and good showers. Best of all was the service - very helpful and friendly staff who made the stay even more enjoyable. Will definitely be back and staying here. 100% recommend.

A friendly team at reception to greet us 👏👏 always appreciated! We had a 3-bedroom which was perfect for our needs. Generous-sized rooms, washing machine and dryer, comfortable living room. Ticked all the boxes! Thanks Quest ☺️

Recommended by friend who stayed there previously I booked online from NZ. Quest kept in contact in regards to check in (we were to have a late check in - key location etc) however we arrived early so check in was easy. Apartment was most satisfactory although we only slept there being out and about with friends/family. Staff most helpful and very pleasant. Great location, walking easy to beach, shops & restaurants.

I am in the middle of an interstate relocation that was delayed so got moved here from aligned corporate residences on Palmer street which used to be an old quest. The location of the former was top notch with the view of the marina. My view here was of a dirt hill. However, this accommodation was much cleaner. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a two bedroom apartment that had everything I needed. Clean, comfy bed, good aircon. It had zero ambience so I was happy to be out all day. Third floor in the second building - very quiet. It’s a bit of a rabbit Warren with two lifts to two separate buildings- got lost once or twice. Car park was fully booked, however they have limited section in the street directly outside - I was lucky to get a spot each day. I wouldn’t stay here for a holiday unless you plan to be out all day. But it was good accommodation and there is a Coles across the road within walking distance. I didn’t use it as I had a hire car. Recommend:-)

Sarah saved our family christmas vacation, was extremely helpful and understanding. Amazing and quick service. We will be back and will be sharing with family and others about the service and amenities here.

Quick overnight stay. Late check in made easy. Beds were very comfortable - pillows not as much! Plenty of room in the 2 bed apartments and close to everything you need. Would definitely stay again.
