Quina Llauna Besalú

On a day trip from Girona to Besalu, Lucia made us feel right at home with fantastic service, recommendations and such great hospitality. The food was superb and even better, they were more than happy to change the dishes based on our dietary restrictions. Highly recommend if you are in the area!

Bravo for the bravas! Having sampled bravas across the country, this quietly secured its spot on the podium. Fluffy, crispy, not trying to do too much but doing it incredibly well. Great atmosphere, great service, gracias!

Absolutely amazing! Good tapas in terms of price and quality in a lovely town. The Galician octopus was quite nice, I was surprised by it as this town is nowhere near the coast 😅 Still the variety of tapas will satisfy all types of tastes so I strongly recommend it for anyone looking for a nice place to eat in Besalu. It is also quite lovely to enjoy the tapas on the terrace during the night.

A great little place to get some tapas and wine at a great price. We had the croquettes, fried squid strip, and artichoke and all of them were great. The artichoke was a typical marinated dish with olive oil which had a nice flavor. The croquettes tasted like fried corned beef which was surprisingly good. However, those fried squid strips were amazing; soft and tender that wasn't overly battered. Add the wine and a nice place to take in the atmosphere and you have a winner in this restaurant.

The best place in Besalu. Every time we visit Besalu we have to go here, we cannot resist! Food is very good and the people are helpful, attentive and happy.

What a wonderful find. We were celebrating a 70th birthday and we were not disappointed. The staff were fantastic and accommodating, the food was magnificent, the wine, the carrot cake just perfect. Service, food, attention to detail and beautiful location just made our evening one to remember. Thanks so much, we wouldn't have been able to ask for a better place. Highly recommend!

Good food, good people, nice little square. Definitely can recommend!

We had delicious tapas and vermouth. Our favorites were the calamari, patatas bravas, and especially the Galician octopus although everything was good. Service was very friendly. If we were here longer we would go back!
