It is a very characteristic place for the area where it is located! The plots are terraced and there are many trees that do not provide shade. The toilets were always clean and the service in general was great! Congratulations André, for your hospitality and for the good service in the restaurant for dinner. The pool was great. We were going for two nights and in the end we stayed for 3.

Another of our absolute favourite campsites. Lovely spacious level and mostly shady pitches. Nice large swimming pool. Good facilities. Fun restaurant in ambient setting. Great service. And the best bit, it’s set in the gorgeous Serra de Estrela, with a pretty town and fine pizzeria a 10 minute walk away.

Liked: We stayed at this site after a few busy days in Porto and on our way to Salamanca. It was a lovely quiet site which is ideal for relaxing at. We read books by their beautiful pool and drank wine (starting at 1 euro a glass) on the lovely terrace. It is a very rural site with lovely views. You can walk to the local village where I saw a Cafe and a Pizza place. Disliked: Nothing.

We used the campsite and it was great! Clean, plenty of facilities. Lots of shade. Pet friendly. Attracts respectful guests from all over Europe.

Liked: A delightful quaint camp with the campervan sites on well set out terraces amongst olive trees. The owner was very helpful, the camp facilities were plentifu, clean and tidy and overal a great stay. Would thoroughly recommend to others.

Liked: This is a fantastic site set in rural Portugal, within walking distance of quaint villages. The site is run by a Fitch family and is on tiers and the pitches are unrestricted which was great in accommodating our large tent. The facilities are fine and always very clean. There is a great bar and terrace area. The pool is large with plenty of sunbeds. The bar also does snacks up to about 19:30. The restaurant opens on various nights. I would highly recommend this site bearing in mind it is rural and not laid out immaculately with cordoned off pitches. However, this adds to the peacefulness and Tranquility. The staff are very friendly and helpful and speak good English. We would definitely visit again. Note this is a cash only site so be prepared. There are three supermarkets in Gouveia about a 15 minute drive away. Lidl, continent and inter marche Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Lovely hosts, very reasonable prices including the bar, pool area and outside seating very welcoming. Facilities always clean. The views across the country are wide.
