Me and my boyfriend stayed here at the end of August and had a wonderful time. The staff are lovely and it’s super central. Like literally it is in the middle of everything. The room itself was clean and comfy and the air conditioning was great too. Honestly the only downsides is the breakfast it is kind of mid. The pastries are good but there is not much savoury options and the coffee isn’t great either. Other than that I would highly recommend this hotel !! :)

The hotel is in an excellent location for exploring Palermo. The room we had was small, but it was clean and in a quiet part of the hotel. The bathroom was nice, and it had a great shower. The room had a kettle, but no coffee and just some tea bags. We asked for some sugar and milk, and €3 was added on to our bill on checking out. We objected, as the tray was never refreshed during our 3 night stay. There was a hairdryer, shampoo, and body lotion in the room. There was also a fridge with minibar. Drinks are expensive, so make sure you get a price list. The tv did have a few channels with english programs. There is only one chair in the room, though, so do a room upgrade if you want anything more. The room had good air con. There is a very small lift and stairs available. However, to get to our room, we had to cross a cobble courtyard, which may not be suitable for everybody.||Breakfast was very basic and not really to our liking. The milk for cereal was always warm, and more often than not, the "milk teapot" was always empty. The pastries were ok, but the hot food consisted of bacon and scrambled eggs. There is no toast or hot food made to order. The fruit was lovely, just not enough of it.||We asked if we could go for a swim in the spa. You can't do this and have to book a time slot. The price was €45 per person for one hour!! Hasten to say, we didn't bother.||On checking out, you will be charged a city tax at €3 per person per night, so bear that in mind.

We had the most incredible four-night stay at Quintocanto Hotel & Spa to kick off our Sicilian honeymoon in Palermo—and we already can’t wait to return! From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed by Andrea, the manager, and the entire team, whose hospitality was thoughtful and genuine throughout our stay.||||The location is truly unbeatable—right in the heart of Palermo’s historic center, on a quiet stretch just off Via Vittorio Emanuele, the city’s grand main street. We were just steps from Quattro Canti, the Cattedrale di Palermo, Piazza Pretoria, the Teatro Massimo, and countless churches, fountains, palaces, cafes, and gelaterias. We could walk to everything—whether it was exploring hidden alleyways, visiting iconic landmarks, or dining at charming trattorias. We were lucky to visit during the Santa Rosalia festival, which filled the city with joyful energy, music, and processions—adding a touch of magic to the experience.||||Our room—319—was a dream, and in our opinion, the best in the hotel. With a private balcony overlooking the Duomo, we enjoyed morning coffees and evening wine surrounded by breathtaking views. The room felt romantic and peaceful, yet was filled with natural light from floor-to-ceiling windows (with blackout curtains for privacy and restful sleep). The bed was two twins connected, but it offered ample space, plush memory foam comfort, and four pillows, making for incredibly restful nights and cozy naps.||||The bathroom was spacious, with a large, modern shower, fresh towels replenished daily, and excellent toiletries—from toothbrushes and toothpaste to shampoo, conditioner, body wash, shower caps, and more. The air conditioning was a true blessing during the summer heat, and the room was always peaceful and quiet—perfect for deep sleep and sunny wakeups.||||Every morning, we looked forward to the amazing breakfast in the courtyard: freshly scrambled or hard-boiled eggs, bacon, meats and cheeses, seasonal fruits, a beautiful variety of pastries and cornetti, cakes, cereals, and fresh juices. The cappuccinos and espressos were made to order and delivered with a smile.||||A sweet surprise greeted us in the room on arrival—a bottle of local olive oil and a kind welcome note, a thoughtful gesture that made us feel right at home. We also loved the courtyard and solarium, and while we didn’t have time to try the spa, it looked just as serene and luxurious as the rest of the hotel. Their onsite restaurant and bar opens in the evenings, adding to the charm.||||The hotel also arranged seamless private transfers to and from the airport, as well as to the car rental agency on our last day—every detail was handled with care and ease.||||We felt completely taken care of and cherished our time here. Quintocanto blends romantic seclusion, beautiful design, warm hospitality, and an absolutely ideal location. I recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone visiting Palermo—whether you’re planning a romantic getaway or a peaceful solo retreat. And if you can, request Room 319. It made our trip truly unforgettable.

This hotel is in serious need of renovations, we can't understand how it has 4 stars seeing the state of the room, corridors, lights, etc. Even the plates, bowls and glasses of the restaurant are broken! And they keep using them! Also we didn't realise they were broken when we first took them and served our food. The room was in very poor condition, it smelt like dust, everything felt really old, there were scratches in almost all surfaces like the tables, walls, even the tv! There was no elevator to access our room, our bed was extremely uncomfortable, the air conditioning was very noisy, and the room service was very poor. They turned up to clean our room at 2pm when we were trying to hide from the extreme heat in Palermo. Having to leave our room after lunch while is that hot was extremely inconvenient. The location is great, the staff is really friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is tasty. However, whether you are an early riser or need to arrive late in the night, the hotel will be closed and you'll need to ring to be granted access. Overall we were extremely disappointed, we were hoping to find a much modern hotel as showed in their pictures.

This hotel is perfectly located! The staff is phenomenal. The hotel is in a ZTL area and we were arriving by car. They have staff readily available to meet you at your car and park it for you. They get it for you any time you need it. We used the hotel at the beginning and end of our vacation, and both sides they brought all of our baggage from the car to the room door. Great place.

This is not a four-star hotel. It’s rundown and dirty, and it stinks. The location is central but that’s it. The room was dingy and old, with Motel 6 amenities and toiletries. The breakfast was sad and the coffee machine terrible. I’m quite disappointed by what was promised, or at least alluded to, especially based on how much we paid.

Quinticonto Room Break-In & Robbery While asleep in our room during the night thieves broke in and stole a purse with credit cards and cash. When reported to staff at the front desk there was little concern and no apology. The hotel did recover a change purse that was inside the purse but not the purse, the cash was gone and credits cards unsuccessfully used by the thieves. At the end of the day I asked about the purse. The new staff were completely unaware, apologetic and directed me to file a police report so the hotel could access hotel security footage. I went to the police station and delivered the report to the same seemingly unconcerned morning staff and they promised to contact me when they reviewed the footage. It has now been eight days, nothing from the Quintocanto so I decided to file this review. There are no deadbolts or inside secure locks on the rooms, only a key card lock to enter. If you choose to stay here I would block the door for your personal safety. The hotel did comp our parking charges. The Valet staff are friendly. Google maps directs you to the hotel on pedestrian streets and the hotel staff were no help getting to or from the hotel.

Well located hotel, welcoming Family Suite. Abundant breakfast. Compliments to Serena and Davide for their calm continuous availability. We will definitely return next year!
