Quintocanto Hotel & Spa

We came for the day spa as an early Valentine's day morning. We had the spa area to ourselves for an hour and then a couple's massage for an hour. The facility was wonderful, clean, and in good repair. The staff were kind, professional, and did an excellent job. Both massage therapists knew some English. Highly recommend and plan to return. Location is great too. Just be aware that it's in the ZTL, so driving costs money and parking is a pain.

My wife and I spent a weekend here in September. The location is fantastic, right in the middle of the old town. This helps reduce the walking distances. If its your first trip to Palermo, be prepared to walk the old town while dodging the scooters and pedestrians. Being in the city center can be loud, as the hotel is on the main street thru town. ||The rooms are older and a bit smaller than modern hotel, but all the services are present. The rooms were not spotless, as being an older hotel can be a challenge. However, it was never "dirty".||The staff was excellent. We departed at 5:00AM for the airport and the staff had prepared a breakfast to go. These are the little things that make a big difference.

Avoid this hotel. I had a laptop and an iPad stolen from my locked room In July 2004 . The balcony door which was in a secure courtyard had been broken into. The hotel at first advised their insurance would cover the loss, but after 3 months only offered half the money and then finally went quiet on me. The Police were very helpful, but is seems odd that only these 2 items were stolen. Inside job?? . We could see the items (icloud) located less than a kilometre from the Hotel. Not happy to have been strung along fopr 6 months

It was a great surprise to be located in the very heart of Palermo. Great choice, nice rooms, good breakfast and friendly staff! Highly recommended!

Location is super practical. Situated in an old late 18th century building. A bit of a maze to get to the top floor. Lovely staff super useful and friendly. Very large room under the roof, hard to cool down as it was surely over 40 degrees during the day. Small terrace with view on the nearby church was great. Good linen and towels. Room a bit tired. No complementary mineral water. Breakfast reminded us of a US motel, even though the waiter was very attentive and friendly. |Doesn’t need much to be a 4 review, instead of a fact based 3. Would still recommend for the location.

This review is of the receptionist at the front desk who accepted and provided written confirmation of our reservations for the spa. We arrived 15 mins prior to the appointment. He welcomed us and checked us in. He asked us to be seated and wait for the services to begin. After approximately ten minutes he approached us saying that we were there on the wrong day. He told us we got the reservation date wrong and we would need to come back. Unfortunately, the date he told us to come back was the same day we were flying out. No apology was offered no attempt to correct the mistake and continued to blame us for getting it wrong. When using the spa double and triple check your appointment time and day.

Standard room is like a college dorm room size. A/C was freezing and wouldn't adjust so I just turned it off. The toilet was elevated on a tile platform about 6-8 inches off the floor. Not exactly what an 80 year old 5 ft woman can use. Hop on/slide off. The make-up mirror was at 7 ft. so unusable.|Saving grace was the location. If I ever return to that area I would get a different hotel.

The location of the hotel is perfect. Right in the center of the city. Go for the executive rooms though. Much larger than the standard and the air conditioning works very well. |We had to change our standard room twice because the air conditioning didn’t work.
